The cabin had a good layout and ample space but it needs a lot of maintenance/repairs. The carpets are very worn out and stained, lots of lightbulbs out, 100s of marks all over several walls, one downstairs bathroom has water damage from kitchen sink that leaks above and looks like it’s been happening for a long time because bottom of kitchen cabinet is warped/rotted and the tiles in bathroom are cracked and coming up. This was probably the least enjoyable rental stay I’ve had. The door code I was given did not work. Camila was very helpful with getting me a new one but it took several different tries before getting one that worked. There was a fairly fresh pee stain on the carpet right where you come in, they did respond promptly to send someone to come clean it up though. There were some basic things like a potato peeler and can opener missing from the kitchen. The worst thing though was the stink bugs, I expected some as it is common for the area but the house had an infestation. My wife and I were staying in one of the top bedrooms and woke up the first morning with them everywhere. We tried vacuuming them up but as soon as we did there were just as many more. I was constantly vacuuming up live ones while we were there and they were everywhere except for the very bottom floor. My autistic son lost it constantly because he has an irrational fear of bugs and kept begging to go home. I would not recommend this property especially for what we paid.

They do allow pets so if you have allergies keep this in mind.

There was pet hair on every surface. It was not very clean for what you have to pay for the cleaning fee. We did have to vacuum...including the couches. The lower level air conditioning was out for 2 of the 5 days making the 2 bedrooms too hot to sleep in.

We loved the cabin! The driveway was steep, but not bad if you have 4 wheel drive! Also a mama bear and 2 cubs came visit us! Overall, the cabin was equipped with everything we needed for the trip! We will definitely be back

The house was great! Very clean property. The only point of caution is the steep driveway. It was completely doable in our SUV, but being from somewhere where it is flat, it made me a tiny bit nervous. Overall 10/10!

Entry is on lower level. Must do steps up to main level. Couch needs replacing. Driveway is worse than awful. Had to pick up people from the lower section and drive them back down. We did not realize Gatlinburg would be so crowded because of the dates we stayed. Will stay in Blue Ridge next time. Be wary of renting this cabin.

The couch was extremely uncomfortable to sit on, the pool table needs some TLC, the hot tub didn’t warm pass 96° and the “waterfall” in it sprayed straight out onto the deck.

Mountain retreat

We had our entire family.. comfortable beds, well stocked beautiful view.. only downside is the driveway… it snowed and was below freezing and was very scary… .. thankfully we had trucks with 4x4…. also, the code did not work when we arrived so I called advantstay and they were quick to correct the problem….

Needs some updates

Overall the place was nice. The beds were all great but you should invest in new vanities in the bathrooms. And maybe some new cookware. There were a few light bulbs out and the there is no good area to actually walk your dog.

Beautiful cabin and great location!

We had a great time staying at Hollow’s Haven! Cabin was perfectly located, only a 5 minute drive to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge (from the bottom of the mountain). The cabin was clean, nicely decorated, and well stocked with everything you need to dine and entertain a large family. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the linens were nice. The sauna/steam room was wonderful! There is a small backyard which is really nice and something you don’t see with a lot of cabins in the mountains. Like others have noted in the reviews, parking was a bit of a challenge; the space is tight when trying to park and maneuver multiple vehicles, but we made it work. The driveway is pretty steep, but we didn’t have any issues with it. The check in process was easy and the customer service was top notch, probably the best we’ve experienced!

Vacation 2023

Beautiful house that was just the right size for all of us. Just minutes from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We had a couple bears come visit. Driveway up to the house is a little intimidating but my 18 year old daughter who did the driving handled it like a pro. My husband loved the sauna. Would definitely stay again.

This property was amazing, we enjoyed our time there.

We had an amazing view and plenty of things to keep the kids busy! The lighting on the balcony was lacking for the hot tub and grill. The only complaint was the driveway and very little parking but it’s part of being in the mountains! Overall would stay there again, we truly enjoyed this property. Very clean and well stocked with everything we might need.

Love the neighbors

We loved the property and had a fantastic family vacation. We even got to meet to the neighbors. We had a family of 5 bears stop by during the trip. The cabin was immaculate and well stocked with supplies. The spa, steam room and pool table were hits with the kids and were in great shape, unlike other places we’ve stayed before so we were very pleased. We highly recommend Hollow’s Haven!

Wonderful home

The home was well appointed and provided options for entertainment on site with sauna, pool table, and hot tub. The views were amazing. You may want to use vehicles with all-wheel drive as a minimum for the mountain driving to include the driveway to the home. There was adequate parking for four vehicles. The home was dog friendly, which was nice for our two dogs. There is a small back yard for them to use, which on a mountainside home is a plus!
