The cabin was very nice and relaxing. We loved the fireplaces and the master suite. The large tub was great and looking outside from the decks. It was a large space and we had a great time!

Listen!!!! Look no further and book this place!This cabin was absolutely stunning and perfect for my birthday/honeymoon experience!!! It was so clean and the seasonal decor was a very nice touch. We especially enjoyed having the jacuzzi tub in the downstairs Master bedroom… this feature alone is a couple’s dream and absolutely my favorite part! We really appreciated the very detailed and kind check-in and check-out instructions from the host. No Bear sightings this time around… maybe next time!

Beautiful layout. The cabin was very clean. We enjoyed the privacy of the hot tub and listening to the birds. Great location! Just minutes from downtown Gatlinburg and great views. We plan to stay here again in the future.

The property felt safe to be in. Communication was great. All my answers were answered right away. The distance from neighbors was a plus. Everything in the cabin worked. Cleaning when we left was minimal. Great location, near shopping, dining, entertainment and best of all to the national park. It could use a few more towels in the bedrooms and landscaping around the house. Overall, a perfect vacation spot for us.

The cabin was beautiful, and in a good spot easy to get to. There however was not enough towels, garbage bags, two chairs are broke one in the dining room the other on the upper level deck.

Location and privacy

Good location, other cabins around but plenty of privacy. Amenities were good, plenty to do while we were at the cabin. Close enough to everything for when we weren't. Roads to the cabin are a little steep and narrow but no issues, just take your time. Overall a wonderful stay. Also plenty of wildlife around to be mindful of, just take that extra second to look around first.

Great location, cabin needs updating, especially toilet seats.

This cabin is in a great location, I'm sure in 2018 when it opened it was great. Unfortunately, there are things that need replacing by now, and I'm not sure the owner cares. I did send an email with no response. I'm writing this because if I were looking for a place to stay, I would want to know these things ahead of time. #1 thing that bothered me were the toilet seats. They are wooden and scratched up, which honestly is a sanitary issue at this point. They were gross. This is a cheap fix. One blind was broken, and all looked like the original blinds installed, dusty and in need of replacing. One of the screens to the sliding door was off track and not easily moved. I did let the owner know this upon arrival so we were not held responsible, got no response at all, a simple, thanks for letting me know would have been nice.Pillows in the master were super hard, and the bedding had been washed in scented detergent, I'm very sensitive to fragrances, it was hard to sleep. No tissue anywhere. Lighting was very dark, it was cloudy so it made it hard to see in the cabin. Description on VRBO says hardwood floors, we did not see any. Got the check in email the day before we arrived and there were a few suprises. It said towels were provided for showers but if you needed extra for the jacuzzi, bring your own. Coffee maker provided, but bring your own filters. (really?) We were on the last weekend of a 2 week vacation, too late to bring extra towels. Would not stay again.

Lovely place, great location.

We truly enjoyed our stay here. The property owner was great to talk with and concerned about our needs. He gave us great information about the area. This home has a great location, close to town, and far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet.

Rustic cabin

We really enjoyed our stay at High Haven. It feels so secluded but only minutes from the action. If you’re looking for high end, modern this is not your place. If you are looking for a real cabin feel like we were this is just the ticket! We saw a mama bear and three tiny cubs leaving the cabin. May have been the highlight of our visit!
