Disclosure: we did stay the full length of booked stay (7 nights) due to the fact compensation was not offered and limited availability elsewhere with the busyness of the season. I don’t normally do reviews, but with the money spent on this stay this review is needed. This cabin needs a deep cleaning severely bad. We arrived at dark and there are no working lights on the front porch what so ever so we couldn’t see where we were walking to get into the cabin. The flooring in the cabin is coming up in multiple areas and needs to be replaced. The place looked like it had not been cleaned in months/if at all. There was dirt and trash all over the carpets/rugs, pills on the ground, tissues under the bed, balls of hair on the baseboards in the bathroom, cobwebs and layers of dust throughout the cabin. We couldn’t even use the bedding without washing it first because there was crusty white stuff on the bedding. We ended up taking the top sheets off and washing the fitted sheet and sleeping on that because we felt so gross. We messaged the host through Vrbo with pictures, and after a day he responded saying sorry for the inconvenience. Needless to say, there are plenty of good reviews, but please don’t let that fool you. Hopefully the property gets the proper TLC it needs badly.
