Host had great communication and was easy to contact. This was our first vrbo experience and they made it easy. We loved the view and how close (yet also just far enough out of town) it was. Made our first trip to Gatlinburg memorable!

Cabin was clean, with plenty of towels and other accessories. Hot tub and view were spectacular! Cabin definitely lives up to its name. We had some black bears visit us the very first night, which was also an amazing sight.

Getting up to the home at first was a little challenging not knowing the roads.We did have a fantastic view of the mountains off our back deck. We were able to see the sun rise every morning. We had a wonderful time and had plenty to do in the area. Would definitely come back to this area.

Amazing Views & Bears Galore!!

We such an amazing stay at the billion dollar view. The house was very clean and orderly. We did not need for anything. Parking was easy. Lots of bear activity, so do yourself a favor and bring an air horn (to honk in case they approach as you're getting into and out of cars, but they are not aggressive. Just want to know what snacks you have) and never leave food or lingering scents of such in your car. Nicki was very easy to communicate with. We will be back!

Can’t wait to come back

The views are as stunning as shown in the pictures in the listing. We stayed for 8 nights and enjoyed every second of our time there. The arcades on the second floor were a big hit, the hot tub was so relaxing and provides incredible views of the city lights at night. Grilling while having an unobstructed view of the smoky mountains will never get old. Seeing black bears walk through the backyard almost everyday was awesome. This trip was so different from our typical family vacations to Universal Studios or Disney, my wife and I loved the change of pace/scenery and were pleasantly surprised to hear both our 14 and 16 year old son’s say that this was their favorite vacation ever.

The chalet has a nice view. The kitchen is tight for a large group. While the listing says it sleeps ten, it is better for 8 due to a sofa bed in a tight space. Kids loved the game room. We encountered many bugs on bottom floor. Many were dead but some were alive. The toilet on main floor broke every three flushes, the toilet on the bottom floor broke periodically as well. While the owner responded to requests for maintenance, no one was able to come. We had to lift the lid off the tank to flush the toilet. The owner is kind and this would be a nice place for a smaller family or group of friends.

Winter heat wave

Traveled from Florida to see the snow and ski, but the weather had other plans. This house more than made up for it with all the entertainment options with the pool table, arcade games, and hot tub to keep everyone occupied while it rained. Views were the biggest draw, did not disappoint. I could sit on that porch all day.

Chalet review

We did enjoy our stay, however, there were a couple of things worth mentioning. For instance, my family and I stayed for a week, there was not enough detergent for the dishwasher, also not enough garbage bags, toilet paper, or paper towel. Other than that, the views were incredible. The items issue is the reason for the 4 stars, otherwise it would have been 5.

Spectacular views!

We loved the mountain view from the 2 decks! The chalet was spacious, well-appointed, & very clean. We liked having 3 full bathrooms, one on each floor. The arcade games & pool table were a hit with everyone. We found the location convenient to the national park & area attractions, & the flat driveway made it easy to park next to the unit. We received a prompt response from the owner when we were having issues with the hot tub. We would definitely stay here again!

The View!

The views were worth it. Remarkable surprises and afternoon/ evening views of Gatlinburg and Mt Le Conte. The house was in really good shape, and supported two families of 4 very well. Stocked kitchenware and so many TVs. The area is wonderful, but definitely be prepared for bears. We saw them almost daily. We only had one request for the PM, and she replied immediately and with professionalism. We would definitely consider booking again for next year.

Family vacation.

The view is beautiful and we loved watching the Ober tram go up and down the mountain. My granddaughters loved waving to the people on the tram. We saw bears almost every day. Mama bears with cubs and juvenile bears. One bear greeted us as we were getting into our cars and I was face to face with it through the car window. The beds were not very comfortable for the 6 adults and the cleaning crew needs to do a better job on cobwebs. Overall we had a good time.

Amazing Stay

This cabin truly does have a “Billion Dollar View”. You can see all of the mountains, and the entire Gatlinburg strip. The property was clean and adequately stocked with just about everything you need. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the game area with the pool table and the arcade games. The hot tub is extremely relaxing to climb in during the night time after a long day of activities. Sitting on the porch drinking your morning coffee, or getting a workout in while watching the sunrise is breathtaking. The property owner provides her personal number and responds quickly. We highly recommend this property.

Beautiful, clean and convenient

This property is very clean, has beautiful views and teens love the old school video games in the basement. A mama and baby were foraging for food the first night and were wonderful to watch. Nikki, the property manager was very responsive and helpful when we extended our stay! There is a lot to do for everyone in the area so go and have some Smokey Mountain fun!
