We loved the view and the balcony so much and all the ubers/lyfts who helped us get up and down the mountain all weekend were so amazing and welcoming! It was so quiet and clean! The balcony screen door was broken which isn’t a big deal at all, there wasn’t a bottle opener and it did smell a lot like smoke but also didn’t matter in the long run! Such an amazing stay and we plan to make this an annual trip so thank you for being the first!

The condo was not well maintained. Black mold on the couch pull out mattress, screen doors off the track, closet door in master bedroom is missing, black gunk on the bathroom stopper in the master bathroom, outlet in master bedroom is detached from the wall, and it looks like someone tried glueing it back to the wall. Carpets were also dirty and stained. The place on the surface was clean, but not maintained.

This condo was great! The back balcony was big and had great views of the mountains you could also watch the ober tram going up and down which was really cool! Our first night there we realized our heat wasn’t working which being there at the end of DecBut the owner got it taken care of immediately she couldn’t get ahold of hvac team that night since it was late so they went and bought heaters and brought them to us and hvac people came the next morning! Everything in the condo is nice and in good shape! We highly recommend this condo it’s very nice and still affordable! You won’t regret staying here!

The host was great, except at check-in she was quite snippy. The apartment was WONDERFUL! The only things "wrong" were very minor. A lamp that didn't work, but there was a spare one (much better actually) in the closet, one of the showers was difficult to get going, but it did work, and there were a few wall mounts for things that needed replacing. NOT complaining AT All, just stating what the minor things were for others to know. Price was great! Great experience! If we had to call about anything, it was remedied quickly. 4.6 stars Would definitely stay again!

The view was cool to see the Ober mountain tram going up in the morning. The discount tickets was worth the condo alone for us. The ease of stay was great and communication was easy. The only thing we didn't like was that it got soooooo cold in the evening. We tried to turn up the heat but it would not go up. It stayed at 70 or below the entire time. The evening it dropped down to 67 and my kids started coughing. I tried to adjust it but it seemed to be locked. We just knew the next evening to wear warm clothes to bed. My son started coughing when he was in our pack and play close to the ground. However he was fine on our bed and he is 2. I loved the drive up but I could see how it was scary for some people at night. We enjoyed it though. We got in at like 10 p.m. our first night. We had our heads on a swivel for bears though. We only saw some at the national park though not near the condo. We had a great time and we would do it again. The only suggestion I would have is to have it vacumed more or change the filters since it seemed a bit dirty on some spots of the carpet like dusty or worn. We didn't let our 1 year old crawl around too much but we were only there in the evenings. Our 2 year old was running everywhere so we just put him in the pack and play but we did notice he coughed more when he was closer to the ground and his asthma acted up. Laying on the bed he seemed much better though and barely coughed. Overall we liked it and would suggest it.

We took my mom up to Gatlinburg for the weekend and this was the perfect condo for the three of us. It was clean and well stocked. It is an older condo, but they’ve done several updates throughout. We were even lucky enough to see a momma bear and two cubs at the pool house enjoying nuts and relaxing under the trees. The only issue we had was with the remote for the TV and cable box in the living room, but I reached out to Kerri and she got it resolved. We would definitely look at staying here again.

The location was ideal, close to Gatlinburg, the park and other activities. The unit was on the second floor and there was no elevator, which I may have missed when booking. In addition, the view from the balcony was somewhat obscured by the power lines, but did not impact our ability to watch the tram go up to Ober Gatlinburg, in the evening. It was nice to have a small selection of soaps, coffee & filters to get us started.

Condo was overall fine for our weekend stay. The views were nice from the balcony and the appliances in the kitchen were pretty new. We appreciated the free ticket to Dollywood.However, there was mold on the backside of the sofa bed mattress that we intended to use, but was an obvious deterrent. We had to make do otherwise. We contacted the host after the weekend to let her know. She did not apologize -- she just said she had “no idea” and would “get one up there asap.” In her quick reply, she didn’t take the time to address *our* experience with this moldy mattress, which is listed as a “bed” for a guest. You must see guests as people, even friends, when they stay in your home.Earlier correspondences prior to the trip lacked kind, gracious customer service. My messages seemed to be an inconvenience to her.Unfortunately, it all just felt like a transaction.

Our 2024 stay

Some minor issues. One was the dip in the floor in the master bedroom. It wasn’t a big issue but it did take us aback at first. There was an issue with the dryer knob. The teeth on the alignment piece kept bending and I would have to take the knob off and bend those teeth back to get it to work. Other than that it was a purely delightful stay.

Bear paradise

Our goal was to see a black bear on our trip. Staying here definitely helped us check that box! We even had a VERY close encounter with one while in the poolside bathroom! The drive to the property was a white knuckle experience but luckily my husband is a good driver. Property was clean and looked exactly like the pictures. Once we figured out how to use the TV's those worked well. The only downside was that we very nearly ran out of toilet paper. I knew you only provided 4 rolls, and since we were there only in the morning and after dinner I figured it would be ok. Lesson learned! Thank you for the lovely stay!

Nice family place for stay

This property was well cleaned and safe. Drive to the property is a bit adventurous but it was fun to go up and down the hill each time. Everything is close at driving distance and still quiet and far from the town. We saw a bear at a far distance from the property. Overall good relaxing, clean and safe place to stay with your family

1st Time in The Smokys
