Has Potential

Beautifully appointed cabin... accept upon arrival, dirty dishes were in the cabinets. After a couple of attempts, we determined the dishwasher was broken. We notified the property manager. They were polite but really did do anything to accommodate the fact that we had to hand-wash the dishes for a family of 5, three times per day. They offered activity tickets towards our last day which were no interest to us. No other communications or attempted accommodations after that. Very poor customer service, poor communication. This is my first ever negative VRBO review primarily due to being taken for granted.

Beautiful home, details fell short

The home was so lovely. It was beautifully decorated with quality furnishings. The beds were comfortable and none of our kids had to share. The view was amazing. The check-in and check-out processes were easy.But a few details were missing that would have helped make the stay perfect. 1. The remote for the fireplace was missing. When I wrote the management company to ask about it, they said there should be a remote to turn it on. We could never find one. 2. The website listed “games” on property, so we did not bring any. But the games were messily dumped into a basket. None had all their pieces included, so they weren’t playable. The pool table was fun, but it was missing chalk and a kid-size pool cue. 3. Many of the lightbulbs were burned out around the house. It wasn’t a problem when it was sunny out, but it was frustrating when it was cloudy or dark.

Wonderful few days

Loved the house with our 4 girls, though a bit of a drive to places, we enjoyed that and even had snow to play in on a few mornings! Very nice area to stay in too.

Fantastic location and cabin

We wanted to do something different this Thanksgiving couldn’t think of a better place other than the Smoky Mountains. We found Heavenly Hangout cabin and thought it would be the perfect place and were so glad it was. The views are breathtaking! The house was great for our family of 6. Altho we only stayed a couple of nights. We will always remember this trip as one of our favorites! Thank you for making this an amazing first time trip to the Smoky Mountains! We definitely recommend it.

Little Piece of Heaven

My family and I loved staying in this cabin! There were 6 total and plenty of room for all of us! The kids loved the pool table and arcade while the adults chilled in front of the tv or outside on the deck. Every morning I enjoyed a nice cup of coffee while reading and enjoying the beautiful view! I would recommend bringing some of these items: Blankets (there was only 1 and it got a little cold at night) Basic kitchen supplies (no spices/oils/coffee- but there were tons of filters) Games/books/cards The drive up the mountain to the cabin was steep, but my minivan had no problems! Also, we saw bears and deer along the way, which was incredible! We had such a great time in Gatlinburg doing the touristy things but also spending some days in the cabin! I would highly recommend staying here and cannot wait to come back again!

Beautiful Cabin

We loved staying at this cabin! It was close to Gatlinburg and yet we had peace and quiet as we set out on the deck every morning drinking our coffee and looking at the beautiful view. Our kids absolutely loved the loft with the pool table and arcade! It was perfect for a family of 5.

Most Amazing Vacation Ever

The cabin is beautiful. The view is absolutely amazing. We saw a black bear our first day there. We took a walk and found black berry bushes nearby where we picked berries that were delicious. The cabin is IMMACULATE throughout every space, inside and out. The location of the cabin was perfect. We were just a short drive to everywhere we needed to go. We did the white water rafting, the zip lining, and all the gatlinburg touristy things. Our son is 10 and he loved every minute of it, as did my wife and I. We have ZERO complaints and will definitely recommend The Heavenly Hangout to any of our friends planning a smoky mountain vacation!

Beautiful cabin

We loved the cabin! It was exactly as described and pictured. Perfect for our family of five. It was a long way out of town but a great view once you got to it. Just know that you have to allow 25 minutes to get anywhere. The only complaint I have is the kitchen supplies were kind of lacking. Pans were old there were only two kitchen towels. We also usually have the experience in a VRBO that others have left basic necessities like spices and condiments. There was nothing so be sure to bring everything you need including salt and pepper. Ha. Overall really great place!
