10/10 – The Perfect GetawayWe had an absolutely amazing weekend at this cabin. From the moment we walked in, it felt warm, welcoming, and incredibly cozy. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared.The special touches — especially the Valentine’s decorations — completely surprised us and made our stay feel extra special. You can tell Jenny, the owner, truly cares about creating a memorable experience.The cabin was the perfect place to relax in the evenings and just enjoy being away from the noise of everyday life. It had everything we needed and more.If you’re looking for a peaceful, comfortable getaway, this is it. We would absolutely stay here again.Highly recommend!

Host was great, shared lots of great information with us before our visit. The cabin itself was fantastic! Kitchen was very well stocked. Great selection of dishes, cookware, utensils etc.Location was also a plus, close enough to town to be convenient, yet still very much in the woods. Even though you are surrounded by other cabins this ended up being a semiprivate lot. Having the washer/dryer at the cabin was a big plus for us!

The Good: The Bed and Bedding in the Master were amazing! Almost too good. Best sleep ever! My husband even joked about strapping the mattress to the suv and taking it home. The shower got nice and hot and was comfortable for my 6’4” husband who normally has to bend down to get under the shower head. We loved the fireplace and the kitchen was well stocked-even had some extra seasonings to cook with. The location was convenient and roads were well maintained. We spent 5 nights here and were very comfortable during our stay. The Not So Good: it’s not as “intimate” or secluded as the pictures make it seem. Especially the hot tub, which faced the street and didn’t get warmer than 99*. Sadly, there was no stream, which was the main selling point for us. And in the kitchen, some of the pans/pots had residual grease/meat left over that the dishwasher didn’t quite get. We ended up just purchasing some disposable pans from the store. A Few Minor Details: the string lights on the patio were very cute but almost half of them were out. Quite a few cobwebs hanging out inside and we didn’t run the ceiling fan because of the dust. In the early afternoon, the sun can blind you for a bit as there are no shades for the cathedral windows. This was a great rental for a couple. The upstairs loft we didn’t use but is great for kids. There is only one entrance and you need to be able to navigate the 8 stairs that lead from the road to the door.

We loved our stay at this cozy cabin. The hot tub was amazing each night. Amazing water pressure in the shower! The host was very responsive and accommodating. I highly recommend and would definitely come back again.

I didn’t want to leave!! This cabin was the perfect spot for our family getaway! Great location! Very clean, cozy, and beautiful! Our kids, 11 & 8, enjoyed having their own space upstairs and I loved that they had their own bathroom. It’s a peaceful gorgeous place to stay. The owner, Jenny, was detailed and responsive. I highly recommend staying at The Blue Bear Lounge next time you’re visiting TN!

Our stay at this cabin was absolutely wonderful. From the very beginning, the owners were in constant contact, always kind and willing to share great tips about the area and places to visit.The cabin was spotlessly clean, with plenty of blankets, towels, and all the essentials. It had every appliance we needed and a fully stocked kitchen with plenty of utensils, which made it so easy to cook and feel right at home.I especially loved the spacious and very clean bathroom — everything worked perfectly. The gas fireplace was another favorite — it worked great and made it so cozy to enjoy a hot chocolate with the family on those chilly nights.The location is super convenient and easy to get to, with no steep or scary mountain roads, which we really appreciated. The space was perfect for our family, comfortable, peaceful, and beautifully maintained.And as a special bonus, we even had a black bear walk by the cabin one morning! Such an unforgettable experience for us Floridians — we loved getting to see a bit of the local wildlife up close (from a safe distance, of course!).We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you to the wonderful hosts for making everything so easy and enjoyable.

This location was wonderful. It was at the back of a small log cabin community and from the parking spot you got a peak of the Smoky Mountains. Walking in, we noticed how lovely the fall decorations were. It made everything feel cozy for our October vacation. The kitchen was well stocked, as well as the bathrooms and laundry. The best part was at the end of a long day of hiking, you could soak in a nice jacuzzi! My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Blue Bear Lodge.

So a great find! Perfect cabin for a trip to the Smokys! We could wake up early and get in the park in 15 minutes. Host is very sweet and responsive. The cabin is easy to access and yet private. Very convenient to a grocery store and restaurants if you don’t want to drive into the Gatlinburg traffic-which is also super close ! The cabin was very clean, and one of the cleanest hot tubs I’ve seen. Also very thoughtfully decorated and well equipped w/ everything needed to cook. Beds were comfy, kids loved the video games and plenty of TVs! I really appreciated the extras like plenty of towels and throw blankets. Would love to visit again! Oh and we saw a bear in the neighborhood, which was neat.

We had an amazing time. Communication with the host was great. They had many excellent recommendations for things to do in the Gatlinburg area. The cabin was clean and had all the right amenities. Location was a short 15 minute drive into Gatlinburg. Easy to avoid the traffic!

Very relaxing, peaceful and clean. Perfect accommodations for my wife and I to relax and reflect on our many years of marriage. The national forest is nearby where we logged numerous miles of hiking and taking in the beautiful scenery of the Smokey Mountains.

My wife and I just spent a wonderful weekend at this cabin, and it was everything we hoped for and more. The cabin is cozy, well-maintained, and gave us the perfect escape from our usual busy schedules. We especially loved how peaceful and quiet it was, making it so easy to relax and unwind.One of the best parts was how conveniently close the cabin is to local restaurants and a grocery store. Whether you want to go out for a nice dinner or just pick up some ingredients and cook a meal right there, it’s super convenient.We also have to mention how fantastic the host was—she was super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay.We’ll definitely be back the next time we need a relaxing getaway!
