Terrible Host, Terrible condo

This Host obviously hasnt been to this unit in a long time. Condo was NOT clean, black mold on windows, damaged dry wall, different furniture than pictured and unclean. 2 minutes of hot water from the shower, foul smelling rusty refrigerator, multiple burnt out light bulbs and lamps that dont work. Host's only responses were obvious autogenerated robotic "Welcome" and "take the trash out when you leave". Zero response when contacted for concerns. Would NEVER book with this host again and recommend people stay away. ZERO STARS

Mountain stay

The location was good.. on Ober Mountain above Gatlingurg. The apartment was cute but could use some updated appliances etc... but they all worked. The view was OK... Its first floor so i am sure the upper floors were better but still beautiful.

Had an awesome time!!!

We had an amazing time!!! I come to pigeon forge/ gatlinburg often and this stay topped every single stay I’ve had seeing the great smoky mountains, we were close to everything and very much had access to a lot of things to do as well! But I will say if you’re not used to driving up and down tight , winding roads then this spot isn’t for you. But no complaints can’t wait to book again!!!

Spectacular view but condo small for 5 and needs a little TLC

Amazing views from this condo at the top of the mountain; however the space The was small for our party of 5 and is in need of updating - several broken lamps and doors and furniture a bit shabby.

Issues with Condo with broken lamps and clogged drain.

Many lamps in the condo are broken and do not work. The sink in the bathroom on the right after to enter the condo is clogged. Water doesn’t drain very well. It got very warm in the guest bedroom even though the thermostat was set at 73. The large bolt to lock the door had looses screws. Overall, nice condo with excellent propane grills and jacuzzis.

Great place with awesome views

We loved the drive up to the condo the view was amazing. The condo had everything we needed. We loved relaxing every morning and evening on the balcony. Views are great. The bears we saw every evening just made our mini vacation the best. Overall the condo was a great place for our family to spend time together. We enjoyed how close the pools were. We loved it all.

Perfect place to stay

The place was exactly what the picture showed. No surprises. Nicely decorated and had everything we needed. Laundry room is right across the parking lot, bring quarters if you plan to wash/dry. View was very nice and balcony was just right to see it. Listen to his warning about driving up the mountain slowly. We were extremely lucky on our way home just outside the property was a momma bear and her 3 little cubs. She was not interested in us just kept an eye on her babies. I think you will be happy with this property-we were!

Great place to stay near Gatlinburg

We were close to downtown, but far enough away to enjoy nature. The place was quiet and clean. The roads were a little scary for Midwesterners, but such beautiful views. Overall great stay.

Very disappointed

I communicated these issues to the property manager prior to posting this review. Upon entering the condo it appeared to be clean and in order; however, I was very disappointed to see that there was only 1 tiny bar of soap for the two bathrooms and kitchen. No additional hand soap or shampoo was provided as advertised. For a family of 4, that doesn’t cut it. The condo is somewhat remote, so you cannot just run to the store and pick some up. The other thing that was concerning, particularly during the current pandemic, was the cleanliness of the kitchen and dishes. I found the silverware in the drawer to be dirty, with a fork that had dried on food and dirty bowls including one that had purple jelly on the bottom. Clean dishes from the previous renter were still in the dish washer and had not been put away by the cleaning staff. This in combination with the other issues lead us to believe that a proper cleaning of the condo had not been performed. We spent one night at this condo and then relocated to another condo.

Great getaway!

Nice little getaway from the house. We enjoyed Ober one night but mostly hiked and enjoyed places that weren’t crowded. It was nice to be centrally located to so many things, but far enough away to avoid crowds.

Perfect condo for our family of 4!

Condo was a good size for our family of 4. Having an indoor pool was a plus. We really loved the wood burning fireplace and the free firewood was an added bonus.

Truly a Smoky Mountain Experience

You definitely get the true "mountain" experience here. The road to the condo is curvy but there are BEAUTIFUL vistas to see. The condo itself is as pictured and described. Great view from the balcony. The twinkling lights of Pigeon Forge are in full view at night. And the BEARS are in full view during the day. Every day they would come by our balcony and visit.. It was really cool! The only two things I could think of to make it better would be to have a little more comfortable mattresses in the 2nd bedroom and the toaster was broken. But everything else was great! Would definitely stay here again!

Mountain Getaway

Located up in the mountains with a beautiful view! We watched a bear playing from our balcony. We didn’t have time to utilize the pool area bc we were on the go the majority of our trip. Gatlinburg has so much to do! It was a wonderful mountain getaway!
