Really cute but not much privacy

Reviewer Comments: The house is really cute and has great amenities but there are wide open windows up in the open plan bedroom/bathroom and the other houses are really close so there’s not as much privacy in that area as there should be. But the bathtub and the sauna are great!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family had a great stay at this cabin. It's decorated beautifully and felt really clean and safe. However, we had a few issues with minor details. For example, there was no spare toilet paper, the sinks and the beautiful shower in the main bathroom had drainage problems. Also the air hockey game was broken. We liked that we had plenty of space for our family, the kitchen was well equipped, the kids enjoyed the game room and beds were really comfortable.

Loved the upstairs (more shades along the back of the house for more privacy in the bedroom - walking to bed from shower and closet. Also,couple of tables to put your glasses and plates on would be helpful. Other than that WONDERFUL!!!!!

The loft master bedroom featured floor to ceiling windows, a fireplace and went directly into a master bath with walk in shower and a deep soaker tub.The main floor was accented with a wood wall and vintage fireplace to set a soft, restful vibe. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bonus was the water feature with yoga set up nearby. The bottom floor had a pool which was greatly enjoyed during our trip, a sauna, arcade game and a projector for watching movies.

The master bath situation does not provide much privacy, although the space is cool. There wasn't much room for everyone to gather together. The theatre room was somewhat small, in that all 4 guests couldn't watch a movie at the same time. We would definitely stay in this or any Elk Springs Property again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cabin was nice but unfortunately was across from a cabin under construction. We were not told about the construction when booking. It was disappointing to consistently hear sawing, hammering, etc when trying to enjoy a relaxing week. There were times we chose to leave the cabin to get away from the noise when we hadn’t planned on leaving. Furniture could also be changed as there was not a couch in the first floor living space.

Not as advertised

This placed was not as advertised on the website. It listed hot tub, and there is NO hot tub. Listed outside, and inside working fireplaces, but they were not even hooked up to work. We tried to call them, but they wouldn't respond to us. Very disappointed in what we got and how we were treated.

Nice cabin

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Family of 4 (8 yoa and 3 yoa children) stayed here for four nights. Overall the cabin was nice. The master bedroom is upstairs and there is no door, the shower is in the open so no privacy if going with kids, had to use the shower located downstairs. Bring a speaker to play music in the pool area! The natural gas grill is located in the front near the front door. I wish it was on the back patio or the deck. Also keep in mind that this cabin does not have a hot tub. The pool room has an audio alarm with a button located at the top of the door. If you are shorter bring a step stool to reach the alarm button. Overall the cabin was clean but it was not swept/mopped when we arrived and there were dead bugs through out in plain sight that I had to clean. Also the fireplaces are only functional during colder seasons and not during the summer. Would have been nice to use for the view.

Reviewer Comments: There was spots in the bedroom you had to watch walking around in the nude due to there was no blinds in those spots and people could see in. There was very little water pressure in the shower. Upon entering the cabin we was greeted by a plain uncovered concrete floor and some of the walls were just plywood. The fireplace in the main room was in pieces and unhooked. It was very oddly furnished with furniture and I could go on but it won’t do any good. We we stay with the resort again but definitely not in that cabin. We feel it was very over priced for what it was.

Called about getting fixed. Someone came in after confirming a estimate time without giving us notice then the arcade never worked? So we paid for both games but didn't get to enjoy them? There was some kind of muddy looking stuff in the toilets. We cleaned ourselves. Not as good as the first cabin experience. Overall nice place. Vehicles going by splashing muddy clay on my car. I tried to park close to the house but still managed to get splashed.

Reviewer Comments: Received a texted message at 1pm stating that our cabin check in would be delayed from 3pm to 4:30 pm due to cleaning. Thirty minutes later we received a message stating that our cabin was ready for check in. (Strange!)When we arrived at 3pm. We found hair on our sheets once we pulled back the bedding. The bunk bed comforter was dirty on the top. Our shower had hair sitting on the drain and the tub had a finger nail inside. Both games down stairs didn’t work until maintenance arrived. And we were asked to change our bedding when they finally arrive.We had to go purchase cleaning before we were actually able to get comfortable.

Urban Cowboy to Sugar Plum Pines

We got notification that our check-in to Urban Cowboy was delayed, so we arrived late. The next morning we discovered our video game mach. was broken, the floors were sticky, the dishes were dirty, the kit faucet didn’t work & the pool fountain was not working properly & the rock wall was covered with what appeared to be algae. The maint. team argued this was patina from the copper cleaning system, however, the “patina” was slimy and came off on our finger when touched! After much deliberation, getting hung-up on by a cust svc rep & asking if this situation had to be resolved with litigation, they agreed to move us to Sugar Plum. This cabin was new & much better, however the video game mach. wouldn’t turn on and the bubble hockey game had a key broken player.

Perfect Romantic Getaway Cabin!

It rained a lot while we were there but there was plenty of things to do inside to keep us occupied! The pool was probably our favorite! I was really looking forward to the sauna but it would never reach a high enough temperature so we couldn’t use it. Bummer! There were a lot of spider webs and dead bugs in corners and windows that I felt should have been cleaned before our arrival along with the outdoor furniture seeing that there is a hefty cleaning fee for all who book. We had to scrub the chairs and table outside before we could enjoy the view. The outdoor sofa in front of the fire pit was beyond our cleaning so we had to enjoy the flames from the second floor balcony. We lost all water power right in the middle of my shower but maintenance was very kind and promptly got on the issue. It affected about 5 cabins he said. The large windows and natural light everywhere was amazing! We were close to restaurants grocery and liquor store if you needed to restock anything. The drive to attractions wasn’t too far either. Overall we enjoyed the property and had an amazing weekend!

Reviewer Comments: This getaway was a surprise trip that my husband booked for my birthday. We have been to Gatlinburg before so we're excited for this trip. The pros of this cabin is that it was beautiful, the service was woodsies, yet modern. We loved having a pool. The cabin was clean but did seen to have more spider webs than normal but otherwise clean. Cons: we did not like the roads it takes to get there, they were very back woods. One of the days it rained and a tree has fallen in the middle of the road & made it difficult to get to it cabin. The view from the cabin wouldn't been better but there was just a lot of fallen trees so not as picturesque as w would've liked. I think if they trim the down and clean up all the fallen/cut trees the view would really be great. The patio door did not seem as secure and needs better locks so I was nervous at night. Tv in bedroom froze a lot so made it difficult to relax and watch TV in the master bedroom. If the roads to get there were more main roads I wouldn't mind staying there again but just felt really uncomfortable traveling on the back roads, especially in rain & at night. I only answered no to recommending a friend due to the back roads they would need to travel.
