We had such a wonderful time! The house was absolutely pristine—sparkling clean, well equipped, and beautifully decorated. The location was convenient to everything. The setting is so peaceful and relaxing. There was plenty of wildlife to entertain us including a very curious bear and raccoon. Our host Laura was so responsive and communicated so well. All instructions were clear. I would highly highly recommend this property to anyone!

We had an amazing stay at this cabin — truly a 10 out of 10 experience. The view is absolutely breathtaking and easily the best part of the whole place. Waking up and seeing the mountains was unforgettable. The host was also 10 out of 10 — very kind, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay.The kitchen is fantastic and very well equipped, which made it perfect for a large family like ours. We were able to cook and enjoy meals together without any problems.Everything about the cabin made our trip special. We would definitely come back again!

Our stay was amazing! From easy check in process to all the great spaces and entertainment to checking out. We encountered a few bears during our stay so don’t leave your doors open, and close that gate when you’re in the hot tub but very exciting to experience. The view was beautiful and they had a spacious parking lot as well, we’d recommend staying at this cabin and will be coming back ourselves!!

The host was VERY helpful with every issue that came up and tried to take care of it as swiftly as possible. She wasn't able to take care of everything, but boy did she try.Overall, we were still able to unwind and enjoy almost all of the amenities that this beautiful home had to offer.I would say, that if you are staying with younger children, you may want them to stay in the basement. There is no sound deadening between floors and it sounds like the people upstairs are in your room. We had earplugs, so we were fine. Maybe bring a few pair of those with you as well.The views are gorgeous from many rooms in the house. You won't be disappointed.The beds are VERY firm.The kitchen is VERY WELL equipped.

We loved the home! There was plenty of room for the 10 of us. When we arrived that evening, we were immediately greeted by mama bear and her cub. We were unpacking our vehicles with the doors wide open, when mama bear managed to snatch a package of chocolate fudge cookie dough mix. The two quickly disappeared into the woods and ate it all up. It sounded like they were enjoying every bite! With this happening so quickly, we were always on alert when outside. The next day, the mama & cub crawled up a tree, snacked on some berries, and then found comfy branches to take a nap. It was so awesome to watch them! We saw bears every day when we were there, which became one of the highlights of our trip! The kitchen was awesome with a big table to seat all of us. The deck facing the beautiful Smoky Mountains was perfect no matter what time of the day. During our stay we toured downtown Gatlinburg on the trolley, rode the gondola to see Annakeesta, some of the guys golfed at Bent Creek golf course, my hubby went trout fishing with a guide on The Little Pigeon River, we all went white water rafting and we ended our week with a picnic in the park near The Little Pigeon River and waded through the beautiful waters. That evening we ate at Mama's Chicken Kitchen and we all agreed, the food was wonderful. There was an issue with the washing machine, but Laura was on top of it! Our only complaint were the beds, mattresses need replaced. Thank you for a great family vacation!

My family and extended family stayed for a week. There was 14 of us ranging in ages from 1 to 17 for the kids with all ages in between and 6 adults. The House was clean and comfortable. The was plenty of room for everyone at the dining table. The views were incredible. The game room and hot tub were good fun. The beds were comfortable. There is an abundance of bear. The host was easy to communicate with. Check in and out was easy.

We loved our stay at the Knotty Squirrel! It had everything our big party needed. Very clean and spacious! We had a few bear sightings which made for lots of excitement! Definitely recommend this beautiful cabin for your Smokey mountain vacation

Perfect Cabin

The cabin sits high on the hilltop with amazing views from the wrap around porch and every window. Our family, from our 2 year old granddaughters to my 70 year old husband, we all had a wonderful time in the game room and just hanging out together. Thanks for a great stay.

Relaxing Retreat in the Smokeys

Family gathering to explore the Smokey Mountain Area. Three generations had a great trip. Grandkids (Tweens and Teens) enjoyed the game room and hot tub. Adults relaxed on the deck with magnificent view. Mama bear and two cubs visited the front deckdeck And fireflies

Great cabin with an amazing view of the Great Smoky Mountains.

We had a nice getaway at the cabin. Enjoyed mornings with coffee and a view. The pictures do not do it justice. The cabin was clean, towels and linens were clean, and check-in was smooth. Hot tub was nice and relaxing after a day of hiking. Kids enjoyed the game room.The cabin had just about everything you could need, but we could not find a pizza cutter. The size of the grill is a bit small for the amount of people the cabin can sleep and the location of the grill is in the middle of brush, which could be dangerous, but we made it work. The cabin was away from the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg, which made it a nice relaxing retreat to come back to everyday. A lot of great hiking trails within 30 minutes away and beautiful mountain drives. Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge are close by and have plenty of tourist things to do. We would recommend getting out early to beat the rush. We did get to see a black bear on the way up to the cabin one day. I do recommend locking your vehicle doors at all times when you are not actively there. The night before leaving I was packing up the truck. Decided to eat dinner so closed the tailgate and shut the truck cap window. After dinner, came out to continue packing only to realize that a bear must have figured out how to get into the truck cap. Paper towel was dug into and it must have made off with our container of lemonade and bag of paper plates. They were no where to be found! Many great memories made! We plan to be back! Thank you Laura!
