The view was unbelievable mountains as far as the eye can’t see beautiful!!! Amazing!!!!We had 7 beds & bathrooms they were all clean and comfortable beds the grand kids love running from floor to floor and hide and seek so many hiding places. We loved every minute of our stay would stay there again. Everyone we talked to was very friendly & helpful from Aunt Bugs Cabins to all the stores and gift shops we went to . And so glad to come in oct we saw 4 bears they where fun to see up close Fromm a distant The only thing is no railing to go inside cabin it was hard for me to get up the steps . Thanks for a awesome vacation

We were very disappointed with our stay at this property. Upon arrival, the house was not clean—some of the floors were neither vacuumed nor swept, some showers and kitchen countertops were dirty, at least one appeared to have not been changed pillowcase, a toilet still had fecal matter on it, and there was food and debris around under the sofa.We also noticed several safety hazards. The porch railings were broken in places, creating gaps where someone could easily fall. There was lots of broken glass on the front porch, steps to the porch, and on the driveway. A basin of stagnant, foul-smelling water was sitting under the kitchen sink.Many basic features were not in working order: the TV in the living room did not work at all, several blinds were broken, and the refrigerator was far too small for a house of this size. There was no secondary fridge, and the main fridge was small for the size of the house and missing door shelf rails, making it difficult to store food.We reported a number of these issues to the management company during our stay. They did send another cleaning crew and addressed some of the problems, which we appreciated, but the overall condition and maintenance of the home still fell far short of expectations for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Family Reunion

We had an amazing time at our annual family get together!! The house was perfect!! Had a great open space for all of us to hang out together, enjoy meals and do activities and play games. The game room and pool was an added bonus!! Would recommend to others!!

Great View, Needed cleaning

The view is fantastic and unbeatable. The location is pretty central to downtown Gatlinburg as well. The house itself was very entertaining for the kids with the pool, rock wall, and hot tub. The downsides were that the house just wasn’t very clean upon arrival with bunk comforters still having trash on them and sheets not washed, several mice were seen in the upstairs and downstairs, and there was no coffee pot for the coffee maker which was disappointing for several coffee drinkers! Overall, great location and could’ve been excellent if it had been cleaned prior to staying.

THE VIEW !!

Overall, we were pretty happy with our choice of cabin for our large family. It had something for everyone. The space, bathroom in every bedroom (a major plus) arcade games, closeness of Gatlinburg and Dollyworld. That first morning cup of coffee sitting on the deck and just admiring "THE VIEW". Just beautiful. So peaceful :) We did have an incident with wasps in the base of the hot tub which lead to two people getting stung, but a quick call to the office and they sent someone out right away to spray the area, and the lady on the phone gave a suggestion of putting toothpaste on the sting area which worked great. The kids just loved in the indoor pool. Cons: Alot of stairs for the 4 levels so expect to feel it in your calves. The cover for the foam matts at the base of the climbing wall were disgusting. Stained to the point where they should be replaced. Overall, the cleanliness was good but the windows that overlooked "THE VIEW" looks like someone shook up a can of soda and sprayed the windows (even up high) and above the main door. I ended up washing down the main door (glass) and what windows I could reach. I'm truly surprised that whoever cleans did not attempt that. Very noticeable. Overall, very satisfied. Our second day we left to go down to the store and our second turn down the mountain we saw a momma bear with two cubs. That was so surreal and put a smile on our faces.

Dream Vacation for Large Family

We came as one big group from the same family, a total of 19 of us. There was something for everyone to do! The little kids and teenagers were entertained with all the games and the pool while the adults couldn’t get enough of the view. We had an air hockey tournament and it was so much fun. Everyone said they had a fantastic time and couldn’t have had a better week in TN. We also got to see a momma bear with three little cubs and that was the icing on the cake. Don’t worry we stayed inside and away from them but watched through the glass in the front door. We would absolutely book this home again.

Excellent get away

We LOVED our time spent at Splash Mansion. We found the house well cleaned and there was plenty of space and activities for all 8 of us! Game room was well equipped and everything worked. Pool and hot top were well maintained and enjoyed by us all. Kitchen was fully equipped for all of our needs. Pics on sited accurately portrayed the rental. The Mountain View was breathtaking. Communication with rental company was easy and we loved the speedy check in and check out. Would definitely re visit.

We had a good experience

We worried about the reviews so we reached out to the rental company, they were great & assured us that if things did not feel clean we could call when we checked in they would help us. Check in was easy & the layout of the house was great for our group. Only feedback based on the reviews & our stay experience: Everything was clean [kitchen, hot tub, bathrooms], but some aspects are dated & make it feel less clean. For example the furniture is all pretty old & does not look the cleanest. Same for the mats that are under the climbing wall. The pool is great and our kids did not care, but the furniture around it was in rough. Something the listing did not show is that one room does not have a bathroom in it [it is outside of the room and is the common bathroom for that floor], but it has a very large, old, jacuzzi in it. Other considerations One of the bedrooms is a spacious loft, but something to consider if you have kids. There are PLENTY of common areas [one of them being below this loft], so you could always hang out in another one, but anywhere you go there may be people sleeping. No blinds on the giant windows which makes sense it is a beautiful view, so that is a room for earlier risers. The listing says is sleeps 18 & I do not feel that is accurate. Even if you put 3 people to a king bed, it only adds to 17, the couches don't feel clean enough to sleep on. Bunk beds are on the bottom of 4 floors so not great for younger kids. Need a bigger fridge for that many people.

Excellent place to stay

I was concerned about some of the comments when booking this property. It appeared to have a cleanliness issue. Upon arriving, the property was in a great location with an excellent view. The upper windows were dirty, but they were 20 to 30 feet in the air. It is unpractical to expect that these windows be cleaned for every visitor, after every rain, etc... The couches were not immaculate, the arm rests showed some wear. The kitchen, game room, living room, bathrooms and bedrooms were very clean. If you're looking for a Waldorf Astoria level property, book another property. If you're looking for a great property for your family to enjoy their vacation, this is the place...

Nasty and Disappointing

The cabin was very dirty! The kitchen had several light bulbs out. The dishes in the kitchen were nasty. I tried to use a Tupperware bowl that still had popcorn in it from previous guest. We did not have enough eating utensils for the amount of people the cabin holds. The floors were not cleaned very well if at all. The Carpet was stained and food was still in the carpet from previous guest. Under the couch cushions and futons were disgusting. The fireplace did not work. Sticky stuff was splattered all over the walls on the main floor. The bathrooms were also not very clean. The bathroom shower on the 4th floor left standing water that began leaking through the ceiling. We had no extra linens for the futons. The downstairs rock wall cushions were disgusting and stained. The heat on the bottom floor was also not working so no one could sleep down there without freezing. The pool area was also dirty. The hot tub did not have enough water in it and was not working well. The indoor pool water was too hot for our kids to enjoy. Very overpriced cabin for our experience!

Beautiful View

Without a doubt the place is beautiful our family definitely had a great time here. However, there were areas in the cabin that were very dirty. A couple closets had dirty plates and sheets that were left from the previous tenants, carpets are dirty, and the pool bathroom is not sanitary. We also had issues with the water pressure while taking a shower, the water completely shut off on all upstairs bathrooms and we were not able to use them for a day. We did call and have the issue resolved thanks to the staff who are very responsive.

Splash Moutain New Years Week

Perfect for our family of 12. Rooms were spacious, amenities were great for teens, plenty of common space for adults and a great view of the mountains. My only grumble was that renters do not take care of the carpet and it needed cleaning. The kitchen needed some minor repairs but a few hundred $ would change everything. I'm glad that the damaged porch on the north side of the cabin was chained off so that no one would go there and fall through the rotten porch rails. Other than these minor repairs, it was easy doing business with your team and we loved the cabin!

Besides the view, this cabin's description is all wrong.

The pictures provided are extremely old and do not display an accurate image of the home. As the prior VRBO reviews claimed, the house was simply unsanitary and lacked many simple appliances. When our party called to ask about these reviews we were falsely told that every review is resolved. However, this was clearly inaccurate as the fridge door was not fixed, the handle was broken, and it required a chair to keep it closed. The carpets were extremely dirty and there were numerous stains on them, especially on the stairs. The pool table and air hockey table were in terrible condition. The pool bathroom and the ceiling above the pool are also extremely dirty. Beyond the undeniable lack of cleanliness, there is also definitely a mouse in the house. The bannisters are completely unstable; both outside and in the upstairs bedroom. There are missing pieces of the railing outside. This is unsafe and unacceptable. The kids' climbing wall is also missing some of the rocks. If safety, health, and cleanliness were priorities for their guests, the home would not be left in this condition. When we mentioned all of this, they showed an extreme lack of concern and lack of communication. Obviously, it's because they are aware of all of the problems in the house and do not care enough to make the changes necessary to update the house.

The view was spectacular but the cabin needs work. Broken shower doors, air conditioning overflow tray filled and we had to bail the water out because it was flooding the carpet. Bugs on third floor. Needs lots of maintenance

Smokey Mountain Cabin

This cabin was amazing, our group ended up being four couples over the age of 30, no children this trip and this cabin was perfect Close to down town shopping, dinning, and adventures Only complaint we had during our stay was that the pool room and pool were to cold for us old folks, which was addressed promptly by property owners on the same day Everything was as promised

Overall a great stay!

There was a group of 12, 5 familys all under one roof. There was more than enough space to accommodate everyone! The breath taking view is the selling point. Everyone enjoyed the view of the smokies from sun up to sun down. The drive to g up to the cabin was crazy but its manageable up and down. Its conveniently located within 15 minutes from both downtown gatlinburg and pigeon forge. The only negative anyone had to complain about was small stuff. The jets on the jacuzzi were hard to get on because the button was hard to push in, some of the sofas could be updated, rips on the lower floor and stains on some of the pullout chairs. Stains on the carpets the could be cleaned up but none of that was an issue with the rest lf the house being fine. Most bedrooms had there own bathrooms which was a plus. More than enough parking space for 4 vehicles compared to the other neighbors parking areas overall everyone was happy and enjoying the stay. 4 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐ from the family!
