If I could give 0 stars I would. We got here late so we stayed. But left the next morning and found somewhere else. This is about 30 minutes outside Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge. That was disappointing but definitely not a deal breaker. But the place was disgusting. I can't express how filthy this place was. Trim extremely dirty. Doors brown with filth. Pee on toilet and floor. Stains on bed and pillows. I sent pictures to owner & requested a refund but they have completely ghosted me. VRBO customer service has been trying to make contact and he's not responding to them either. STAY AWAY!!!

Beautiful place! We had everything we wished for: a beautiful living room with a fireplace, comfortable bedroom, well equipped kitchen, great bathroom with powerful shower, and most importantly the balcony with amazing view on Smoky mountains.

We stayed a week at Chuck’s place. Beautiful view from the balcony & bedroom. Breathtaking of the mountains. Comfortable bed and couch. Great water pressure. Had access to pool, etc, but we didn’t take advantage of the extras. Too busy exploring the area. Great location. Close enough to Gatlinburg, but quiet spot away from all the traffic & crowds, in the mountains. Plenty of parking. We had a wonderful week. We were visiting for the first time from Florida. Would definitely book again.

Nice but not what we expected

The price was very nice. The host was very responsive when we had any questions and was very nice when we were later getting out of the unit then we were supposed to be. The view was amazing. There were a few things we did not enjoy though which was the bed which was very firm and the couch, which was not comfortable. The TV/cable situation was frustrating because we could not find any local channels when we wanted to see the local news, major channel shows, football and baseball games, and weather. The fan in the bathroom did not work and just some other cosmetic things about the unit didn’t make us feel at home. We have stayed at Deer Ridge Resort for several years and we’ve not had this kind of experience before. We will be back to the resort, but will probably not stay in this unit again unless it’s upgraded.

Wonderful one year anniversary

My husband and i came out for our one year anniversary. It was the perfect size for what we needed. We were able to cook when we wanted to. The view, itself was worth it. Best way to wake up and end the evening. One night we even got to see a bear. My husband loved being able to use the sauan and hot tub after the long days of walking we had.

Everything was great except that the bathroom sink wasn’t working and there was no hot water in the shower after the first night. Besides that, it was a beautiful place to stay at.

Anniversary trip

We always come back to Gatlinburg for our anniversary trip, it’s just our favorite getaway. We loved our stay at this condo, it was perfect. Great view and owner was nice and quick to respond to any questions. No issues whatsoever. We will be back.

Great stay

Nice condo clean and beautiful view. Condo grounds are well kept and saw bears everyday on property. Power water pressure and well maintained. Condo owner was quick to answer question and was very kind. This was our 2nd stay and will be back for sure.

Perfect little stay

The host was very responsive to everything we needed. When we reached out, he contacted us right away. I appreciate that. The view is incredible, I can’t believe we were able to afford a location with a million dollar view like that. The amenities were also very nice. The pool, hot tub and sauna are very clean and well maintained. The property it’s self is close to everywhere you want to be, only far enough away you feel like you are one with nature.GORGEOUS! The condo itself isn’t super fancy, but it has everything you need. At night the kids enjoyed the WiFi and television options. I basically sat on the deck and watched the mountains and fog roll by until the sun went down every night. Morning sunrises as well. Obsessed. Overall a wonderful experience for myself and the family.

The View/ Property is the best you will find

Great find! This Deer Ridge Mountain Resort is Amazing! Literally one of the best views in the Smokys. This condo was great. 1 bdrm 1 bthrm, with pull-out couch. Kitchen was small but made multiple meals out of it. View is ome of a kind, No obstruction of view at all, just panoramic mountians. Well worth the price for a family of 3 or 4. Would love to check it out in October to see the colors change or even winter to see it all covered in snow.

Great View! Loved the nearby hike

The view was gorgeous! The price was great, but with that it could use some updates. The bathroom tile is cracked/loose and the exhaust fan did not work. The bed sinks in the middle, but for one person would probably be fine. Other than those small issues, it was cozy with a cabin like feel and provided just what we needed to enjoy our stay in the Smokies! We really enjoyed the balcony view!

We had a good time.

It is what it shows online. We were out a lot but the place was great for me and my husband. The light in the bathroom wouldn't turn off and the water pressure in the bathroom is not great. Other than that the view off the balcony was well worth it!
