Not pleased

Horrible experience, to say the least. The owner called me, which I thought was strange. I was en route, and he texted me three separate times. Then he texted, saying is this your white sedan? (mind you I wasnt there) He made me uncomfortable with excessive texting. I assumed this was like a townhome. It felt like an apartment. The neighbors slammed the doors so loud I only slept for two hours. (came in and out all night long). I went out to get stuff neighbor's were watching me? It was 4:00 am, and they were still coming in and out. Amazon packages were delivered. We felt like we were being watched and listened to. I would never recommend

Nice and Clean

It was a nice stay. Initially, we didn’t like the house as it was not clear from property details that it will be multi-story building and accessible only by stairs. Apart from this, we liked the house very much. It was clean and all basic things were there except few like foil paper, grater which was manageable. Linen, bedding were clean and very good. Best part Was Ogden beach is walkable. For any queries, property manager was also reachable on phone and very responsive. I would recommend for the stay here. Thanks for sharing this place with us. Disappointing-

Marketing did a great job making this property look good via pictures; however, in person- it was very disappointing. The property needs a very deep clean and updates, especially to the lower level. While the upper level was much better, on the lower/main floor- there were mice droppings on the floor and in the oven tray, walls and baseboards were filthy and it is not well appointed. You could hear the neighbors above the main floor bedroom (sounded like a hoard of elephants going up/down the stairs). If you have a larger-sized dog, you will not be able to gain access to the upper level due to the steepness of the staircase. I was expecting a very chic stay. I did let the manager know and they asked to send over a cleaner, but the place needs a DEEP clean, not a spot clean. Very disappointed in what I received, especially at the price point paid. Would not stay again.

Great location next to National Park and Beach!

Short drive to National Park and State Park hikes! Short walk to very nice beach area! Wonderful place to stay, fully stocked and plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 teens… and a dog!

Wonderful place

The location was great, you could see lake michigan through the kitchen windows and on the balcony. Very nice home, lovely views. Could not ask for a better host, my daughter left her stuffed animal and they were kind enough to retrieve and send it back to me. I will be staying with them again in the future!

Comfortable space in a great location

Property was as described, check-in process was easy. Great location right by the lakefront beach and dunes area. Sadly, it rained on us most of our stay but that's not our hosts fault. Good alt location for a Chicago visit with the dunes / beach area right there and about $100 / 1hr Uber ride into the city to explore there as well. Will likely come back in warmer dryer weather to enjoy more of the beach and dunes.

Very misleading

Upstairs shower don't work jet tub had black stuff coming out when running outdoor grill didn't work hot tub was very small and outdated didn't know it was connected to another house which had alot of teenagers in it with loud music all day and night will never book again camera's everywhere fell like being in jail

Quiet & serene

Lovely property - nice set up, would be a wonderful summer return trip with the kids, everything you need is on site, very well done! I wish the check in/out was a bit more wide range for price we pay - I was offered early check in/late check out for price but 10am check out and 5pm check for price once we got there and got out we’ll definitely reconsider properties in the future to have more accommodating times

Needs up keep

The house is on an awesome location from the beach however the overall experience was poor I am very disappointed in the overall experience in the house We did not realize that i reserved the Addition We did not have consistent internet service. Our children missed on line classes because there was no internet service. I have to leave the property to complete to complete time service work because the internet was down . I have pictures of the upstairs patio chairs that are in boxes on the front porch. The house mgr. brought beach chairs die us to use upstairs with the fire pit. The internet service is slow and continued to go in and out. I took pictures of TV that continued to go out. We were able to watch 1 show from 11/15-11/21. After 2 am we week able to watch movies without interruption. The house was not ready guest (base boards ready , Dusty on the living room kitchen area, the slow cooker was filthy and not clean, I had to request a mop, not stocked with sufficient supplies-limited face towels. ) I have pictures of the floors, boxes on the porch. I would not recommend this to o my friends or family

Nice location. Nice place.

Enjoyed our stay. Nice location and amenities. For the most part, place was clean. Floors looked clean, but could have used a good mop. Lysol wipe was quite dirty when used on the downstairs bathroom floor. Trim work needs a paint job. The three hanging lights over the kitchen counter were in desperate need of cleaning - glass was cloudy. Had to clean out the filter in the dishwasher that had a significant amount of food caked on it. Outside wall lights did not work - 1st and 2nd floor. Batteries were weak/dead in some of the remotes. Most tv’s have power strips hanging from them. There was no disinfectant spray available. One roll of paper towels for a weeks stay. One of the brackets that was suppose to make removing the hot tub cover was missing making it awkward to remove the cover so the one bracket left extended about 3 feet out on the deck creating a trip hazard. Having said, I mention these items because if they’re corrected, the place will really be great! Overall liked the place and probably would stay again.

Family vacation

The pictures look very glamorous and big but it is not. The place wasn't very clean. The baseboards in bathrooms were so dirty and so many spiders that our kids were scared of going in the bathroom. The kitchen didn't have any garbage disposal which was so inconvenient and dirty that we had to keep emptying that little container in the sink. Outdoor furniture wesn't very clean and the deck was still dirty.

Overall Nice Place but Some Caveats

Would have been nice to know that there was no flat yard around the house, only just the beach, which is about a 100+ yard walk away. But great wrap around porch, and lots of outside and inside seating and chairs. The trees need to be cut down more to stop blocking the view, and be careful in the steam shower, the steam heads are located in a PROPOSTEROUS location. Two of the people in our group got blisters from burns from being too close to the nozzle heads.

Amazing home with great views

Amazing accommodations, all rooms are spacious with ample bathroom facilities. The ability to utilize both kitchens worked well for our large group. The outdoor seating and views of the lake including sunsets over the city are amazing

Weekend company retreat

Great space for large group

Everything we could possibly need was provided. Both houses clean and well-maintained. The views over the lake are spectacular. House manager was very quick to respond when we had questions.
