"Very difficult access for parking"

"Lovely place. This is a rustic place in the middle of nowhere and is fantastic! Worth all the travel. Staff were amazing. Food was superb. I had the giant Yorkshire pudding with beef bourginon. My room was lovely and the bed comfortable. A very welcoming place even for a single traveller like me. I’m definitely going back at some point! Brilliant"

"Everything was fine really. Just the carpets were very old and stained. Great breakfast and dinner was nice. Beds need a little upgrade."

"Booked this last minute as a 1st stop on a trip around the lakes area, My goodness, I know they say you get what you pay for, but you don't expect to see insects crawling in your bed or on the bedside tables!!!. "Staff were very friendly and helpful, comfy bed, lovely hot powerful shower! Great food and beer, really enjoyed my stay!"

"Top Accommondation!"

"Excellent all round. Would definitely recommend"

"Was a fantastic stay with friendly staff who looked after us. Absolutely one of the best stays on an hotel. Food also was excellent. Both me and my wife would recommend the Gateway."

"Met all our expectations, 10 years after our last stay. Perfect start to a long drive!"

"This is a place that has been designed to make you feel at home. The rooms are tastefully decorated with colorful fabrics and interesting decorations. The pub is dog and human friendly and is a popular spot for locals. Jack, the Bernese Mountain dog is regularly present as he belongs to Kenny, one of the owners. Kenny and staff have put together an eclectic playlist of songs that are ever present in the background but not so loud as to interfere with conversation. The entire staff works hard to...
