We had a lovely stay in this beautiful, quirky house with some of the most stunning views in the world. Novella was incredibly helpful and always available for help and advice.

Amazing views near a charming town

The views at the villa are breathtaking and better than the photos. The pool was perfect for our group of two families with kids ages 6-9. The walk to town was short but down a steep hill - other routes to town were available that were not as challenging. We fell in love with Gargnano - the people, the restaurants, the views, the gelato. Novella was quick to respond to any questions or requests we had and the check in process was very easy.

Aussenanlage, Blick zum Gardasee, Pool - besser geht es nicht. Ein Hinweis in der Beschreibung auf die vielen Treppen in der Villa wäre sinnvoll. Eine Villa für sportliche Leute.

Stunning villa in wonderful location

A stunning villa in a wonderful location above the village of Gargnano. The interior layout works very well for a family or group of friends ( we were a family of eight). Only slight drawback is that two of the bedrooms don't have AC so can get hot.The exterior terraces and pool are really great with superb lake views. A short 5/10 minute walk takes you down to the village with easy access for swimming in the lake and a variety of excellent bars and restaurants. So overall a great place to stay.

Gargnano is a fabulous town

The location and views are excellent, Gargnano is as lovely a town as you could wish to find anywhere. The villa is light and the gardens and pool excellent. Better attention to the maintenance of the villa.. some minor housekeeping issues when we moved in. As the furnishings etc become older ensure that everything is kept as lovely as it was when the villa was first available for rent.

Amazing location, but be prepaed for lots of stairs!

The setting in the old limonea is exquisite, the view extraordinary. Novella answered all of my sometimes minor questions immediately and was very helpful with restaurant reservations. Gargnano is a perfect little town and we fell in love with it and its friendly people and good restaurants. While we loved the villa, the bedrooms were small, and basic, and the many level changes were sometimes difficult to deal with. I do not remember the spiral stairs being mentioned in the description. Had we been 7 people, as we originally booked, rather than the 5 we ended up with, we would have felt really cramped. So, perhaps a more complete description would let people know the layout better.

The most wonderful villa in the perfect location

Villa Rochelle is simply wonderful. The villa has everything you need and over many levels which lead into the many bedrooms. The kitchen is well equipped with all you need to make your morning coffee or a pasta dish with ingredients from the nearby shops. The deli in town is called Bignotti and has everything from wine to cheese to meats. All bedrooms are well equipped and the top two bedrooms have aircon. The other bedrooms have fans. The tv room is great and the massive tv has apps that allow you to access Netflix or Prime on your own account (remember to log out....). The balcony area is just wonderful and this is what draws most of the pictures of the villa - it's every bit the stunning vista and the awnings give the shade if the sun is too much. Looking over the lake watching the boats can while away the hours - pour some wine and watch the world go by. The gardens are spectacular and over 5 levels. The swimming pool is fantastic. We went in September and after 2 seconds, you get used to the temperature (diving off the little springboard makes this easier...). The host Novella was always available (both before and during) and gave advice and instruction which was very welcome. We had a slight issue with wifi and was fixed the same day. The villa uses the 3 prong Italian plug she make sure your adapters can work with these - there are a few in the villa to help though. The villa and location are fantastic and you will not be disappointed if you book.

Perfect villa, perfect location

This was our second stay at Villa Rachele and it's a stunning property. It has everything you need and a short 5 minute walk from town. From sitting watching the world go by on the balcony or choosing one of the many terraces to sit or laying by the pool, if you want luxury and a private feel this is the place. I can't fault the property or the service I received from Novella and her team. First class from booking to leaving.

Paradise on Lake Garda

This property is one of the most amazing villas we have ever stayed at. It was well appointed and very comfortable with the most amazing views of beautiful Lake Garda.

Superb Villa Rachele comfort and equally excellent service from Holiday Garda

The villa is stunning. Lovely setting, historic Gargnano is beautiful. Relaxing in the grounds, on the huge balcony with lake views, in the stunning pool. Everything was just right. The local knowledge from Holiday Garda is excellent. Advice on dining out, trips, organising and booking excursions, everything was perfect. Special thanks to Novella, we really appreciated your knowledge and advice! We'll be back I hope quite soon, all the best to you and see you again! This villa has no deficiencies and huge charm and the Holiday Garda service was excellent, we do not have a single complaint. We loved the walk up to the villa but some may find that strenuous. You might want to point that out for people who might be less mobile.

Spitzenklasse mit kleinem Manko

Das Objekt und auch die Betreuung ist absolut klasse. Ein absolutes Manko ist, daß es kein direkte Zufahrt und keine festen Parkplätze gibt. Bei An- und Abreise und nach Einkäufen muss man alles über zwei mögliche Wege (einer kofferrollentauglich ca. 300m und einer unbefestigt ca. 200 m. Die Entfernung ist stark vom Parkplatz den man findet abhängig ) schleppen. Es stehen nur öffentliche Parkplätze zur Verfügung die in der Urlaubszeit heiß begehrt sind (Parkausweise sind im Mietpreis enthalten, parken ohne extrem teuer). Will man zum See muß man eine stark befahrene Hauptstraße überqueren, der erste Zugang ans Wasser ist direkt am Parkhaus des Ortes und wird als Hundehof und Mülleimer genutzt. All das sollte man wissen, das Haus und der 20m Pool machen das aber definitiv wett.
