Fun Birthday Getaway
We celebrated our daughters 10th birthday here and had a good time. Very close to pool and sled hill which was great! I wouldn’t say anything in this place is modern or updated, just pretty dated overall but it was cozy. For some reason, there were a ton of gnats flying around inside so that wasn’t enjoyable. The cleaner seemed to overlook a couple of details that I would recommend to always check. There was a gross brown film at the bottom of the Keurig water reservoir like it hadn’t been checked or cleaned in at least a month. I had to run it through the dishwasher and use a paper towel to scrub it off. Overall it was a fun stay, everyone enjoyed the couple days.

Mountain Charmer
This place was absolutely amazing! Clean, cozy and amenities beyond! Location was perfect…..on the mountain but a trail walk to the hot spring pool! The details on the listing were spot on and the host was wonderful to communicate with. Highly recommend staying here.

Awesome
We stayed for the Art and wine festival it was the perfect place to stay. The owner was so easy to work with and the deck was awesome. We had the best time

Grandsons wedding
We had a great time at a Wedding, I also played golf, it was a beautiful golf course. It is a short walk to the clubhouse and to the wedding venue. The only thing I might suggest is to have the house keeper check the dishwasher. most of the dishes in the house were in the dishwasher and the machine had not dried the dishes.

Clean and Cute
We spent Christmas morning opening presents under the Christmas tree. Courtney was super responsive. Kids loved the bunk beds and master bed was comfy. Thanks for the nice stay!

Perfect for what we needed!
We loved the style and charm of this home. Was a little iffy getting in with the snow but managed to find a better route in. Loved how close it was to the Poole and restaurant. We definitely would have loved to walk but not with how icy it was. The house had plenty of blankets and comfy beds! Saving this house for next time.

Nice cozy place to stay!
This was the perfect place for us to stay for the night for a Halloween party in Crouch! It’s often hard to find a place for just one night, and this property had just what we needed!

Close in - Very private.
We stayed two nights in Mid-October. Our weather was beautiful & it was nice having the heater on the deck for the cool evenings. It was so private as the deck is set up on a hill & is level with the trees. The two bedrooms were very comfortable with a small en-suite bath in the Master & a main bath just across the hall from the 2nd room. Each bedroom had window fans & we sure like that. The kitchen was well stocked. We cooked both dinners & breakfast. The living room was comfy. We got music on the TV to listen to as we were out on the deck playing cards. Easy getaway in Crouch
We had a great time staying at this fun mountain cabin. It was relaxing to sit on the deck and listen to nature. The golf course was busy, they had a tournament over the weekend. The cabin was nice and quiet even with the crowds. We saw a show at the Starlight Mountain Theater. It was a very enjoyable way to spend the evening.

Fun, fun, fun
It was so much fun staying at your hillside hideaway, not just for what we planned but also all the little niceties, notes, and pleasant surprises. The place is comfortable, loaded with everything you might need (besides you and your food). If a.person just wanted to stay in there are games, movies, and space. A try fun treat of a place.

Fun time

Cozy, clean and comfortable
Stayed at the Hillside Hideaway with my husband and 2 granddaughters. We all had a great time. The property had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the fire pit each evening. We look forward to staying again sometime.

Awesome place in a great location!
Awesome place in a great location! If you are considering a trip to Garden Valley , I wouldn’t hesitate to book this house now. Very quiet neighborhood with easy access to town, golf course.... Great deck and fire pit to relax on or watch the star which are amazing! You won’t want to leave.

Amazing Experience
The home is just as described. It was clean, had everything we needed and very comfortable. Mike and Cortney are amazing hosts, easy to contact and very helpful. The fire pit only adds to the ability to completely forget your worries and relax We will be staying here again!

Would recommend!
Great experience staying at Hillside Hideaway. Hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Loved the deck and fire pit area complete with outdoor string lights. House was well stocked and clean. Hosts checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay there again.

Definitely Recommend
We loved our stay at Hillside Hideaway! The hosts went above and beyond to think of everything we may need. We were VERY impressed! It was VERY clean and felt comfortable staying here. We enjoyed how quiet and peaceful the area was. The hosts are amazing! They communicate well and are super accommodating!
