Campings en Gangotri Glacier

"The property was under construction when we stayed. But the staff went over and above to make our stay very comfortable. The food was excellent."

"Average"

"Overpriced for what it offers — OK only for budget travelers ($20–$30/night) * Location & Finding the Place: Hard to locate upon arrival. * Bathroom & Hygiene: Hot water is available via the boiler, but the showerhead does not work for hot water, only cold. You have to fill a plastic bucket and use a small plastic mug to bathe. There is no toilet paper provided—you use the same plastic mug, which is standard for basic budget travel in India, but worth knowing in advance. * Service & Food: I had...

"Excellent staff Rooms need to be more maintained with updated amenities as per the cost per night"

"Our stay in Hotel Ram Gopal was a blessing! Room was very nice, clean and with lot of space. View of the mountains was 👌 and just right across Vishwanath Temple. A bit of steep 5-10minute climb from the taxi/bus stand. The owner was very kind and helpful all the time. Was surprised on our second day as he let us know that we can get helicopter tickets offline to go visit Kedarnath. We were resolved we won’t be able to visit Kedarnath prior to this as we weren’t able to get the online helicopter...

"Property is average as compared to the charges and manager Mr. Mohanty or something like that was rude enough and was behaving as he is running a 5 star resort. The helipad attached is here of no use unless you book private helicopter through them. Nature view is awesome and so other staffs."

"Clean and spacious rooms, friendly and service oriented staff "

"The facilities are great. Location is good. The weak point is the staff and service. Our reservation booked on Expedia couldn't be located and we had to wait for 45 minutes before able to check in. There were some other issues with service related to staff and management. If that goes smooth the stay can be very good."

"Not far from the temple, just a short climb, and it is a little tricky to find the hotel between the buildings. Decent room, good amenities."

"Very cooperative staff"

"Property seemed new, but elevators had problems, so had to climb 3 floors couple of times. We paid for breakfast included, but there was no buffet breakfast. The staff however provided us with Tea Coffee & Bread Butter. But that’s not what I paid extra for, I was expecting a full buffet breakfast. Staff people were courteous and helpful, no issues there. Overall good place to stay,"
