We had a great stay! Our host checked in on us with arrival details, and to assure we had what we needed. The house was decorated for the holiday and it felt so cozy. There were ample supplies at the house where there was no need to run out shopping first day. The house felt homey but well laid out! The outside was great and my grandson loved the fishing, games and kayaks! Such a peaceful community too! Thanks for a great experience and look forward to being back!

This little home was absolutely adorable and so comfy! We stayed 5 nights in the dead heat of summer and the house was always nice and cool. That’s a huge plus! It was perfectly decorated and clean! There were plenty of extras, games, movies, kayaks, fishing gear, just not enough time to do everything. My 84 year old dad and twin grandsons had the best time fishing every night and we all loved watching the fish under the light. Sadly only the crabs were biting, but the littles thought that was hilarious. If you have ever stayed at Jamaica Beach, then you know the neighborhood is so friendly. We love it here. I have to say out of everything this little home had, the single swing under the deck was my favorite. Every night I found myself swinging in it, it was so peaceful. Definitely will be back! Thank you!

We stayed at Water's Edge this past week for our summer vacation and everything exceeded our expectations! There was no shortage of fun things to do. We fished morning and night (quite successfully) and ping pong was a major hit for everyone. Paras was very quick to respond to any inquiries and very, very kind. Wonderful stay for families

Such a fun place to stay, LOTS to do for kids and adults. My boys fished from the moment they woke up until they fell asleep. House has everything you need plus more. Kayaks were really fun and enjoyed riding their scooters around the neighborhood. Owner communicated wonderful and we had zero issues. We will be coming back in few months for fall break.

Little get away

A weekend to remember

LOVED the deck area for relaxing and soaking up the sun! Very clean--rooms were large; kitchen is very well stocked with supplies; lots of storage. In the evening, the green night light on the deck was amazing to watching the "ring of fish" along with other fish with the swings being an added bonus.

Jamaica Beach House Fun

Loved the location and the canal home was great for fishing. The owner had excellent communication with us throughout our stay. Any issues we had were quickly addressed. The kitchen needs some updating but other than that it was a great stay and would definitely book again!

Fantastic stay over Spring Break

We spent three nights here over Spring Break. The house was big enough for 5 teenage boys, 2 adults, and two dogs. Plenty of fun things to do (kayaks, ping pong, dart, foosball, fishing) to keep them entertained. It's in a quiet neighborhood on a cul de sac so we didn't have to worry about all night parties from neighbors or people driving by at all hours of the night. Overall, a great stay and would recommend.

Great stay, very responsive and accommodating host!!

We stayed in this home to celebrate my son’s 16th birthday. The kids had a great time fishing off the dock, playing foosball and ping-pong and darts! My husband and I enjoyed relaxing and watching them have the best time! The host was very responsive and eager to make sure we felt comfortable and accommodated. We really enjoyed Jamaica beach and staying on the canal was fantastic!

Waterfront home

This is our second time to stay here. We love the property and it’s a great place to unplug. The house is stocked with everything needed. We caught enough speckled trout for our fish dinner. Paras is an excellent host and communication is great. 😊

Amazing host!!

My family and I booked this home for a week in July. We live in Houston and wanted an easy vacation on the water. When we arrived at the house, check in was super easy, the house was beautiful and clean, the kayaks and beach supplies were ready! However, our first morning there a hurricane in the gulf turned directly toward galveston and we had to evacuate back to our home in Houston. We were never able to return to the bay house but the property host was very kind and communicative. He helped us get a refund back, even though it meant staying on hold with vrbo for a very long time! Excelllent house and an excellent host!
