I took a ground of teen boys here in June. Had five year old sister with us too. This property was perfect for us. There was something for everyone to enjoy.We kayaked, fished, swam and ate well here!

This was our third time staying at this property. It never disappoints!! The proximity to the beach is perfect. The time spent kayaking in the canal was so relaxing. The deck is large enough for everyone to spread out. The house and rooms are spacious enough so you dont feel cramped. I cant wait to come back!!

Great house! Lots of room !

The dock was perfect for the fishermen in our group while the upstairs patio was perfect for the relaxed group. Kitchen was perfect size with all updated appliances. Would definitely recommend this property.

Great Hosts!

Enjoyed our stay! Crabbing was good off the deck and there were fish under the lights. Robin was so kind to send us the medicine we forgot ASAP after we realized we had left it at the house. Thanks for the great time!

What a fun location

Beautiful Home in a Great Location!

Have stayed at several places owned/hosted by Robin, and we have yet to be disappointed. This home was perfect for our family of 8, and with the kayaks and great fishing from dock, we rarely had to leave the house for anything other than makinh the 2 min drive to the beach! Highly recommend this property, along with the other properties that are hosted by Robin in Jamaica Beach area. Much like our families experience, your family will have a great stay and will not be disappointed. . H

Family get away

The property was just what we were looking for. We went fishing, rode bikes, took hikes, went kayaking and all was great fun. The house was also great. We especially enjoyed spending time on the decks overlooking the canal. The host was also very responsive and easy to work with. We will plan a return visit.

Jamaica Cay is a place we really like.

The property is great and is easy to get my husband around. He is invalid and the space is great for us getting him in and out on the deck. We had a great time. The only thing that was frustrating was the bad weather.

Awesome stay

This was our second time to stay at this property. It is great for family. The fishing guide picked up our people at our dock and dropped them back off there. They had a great time. The older kids used the kayaks in there canal. Lots of fun. Would definitely recommend

Great property, awesome location, and wonderful hosts!

We enjoyed our stay at Jamaica Cay so much despite the mediocre weather. The house was immaculate and the host was quick to respond when we requested the possibility of staying another night due to a car accident on the way down. 😢 We had a group of 9 and there was plenty of room to relax in the living room when the weather was too cold to hang out on the deck. We would definitely stay here again if we booked another trip in the Galveston area. Thanks Robin!

The house had pretty much everything you would need for your stay including eating utensils, cooking appliances, vacuum, and more! There were bikes and kayaks available as well. Looked exactly like the photos and was very comfortable!

We had a great time at this property. Our first night was stormy there but that that didn’t stop us from having a good time! This is a great house for fishing and having my furry friends there. They have a nice closed fence. Also the handicap ramp is great for my parents and the puppies We will definitely rent this house again

Phenomenal!

First, Robin is an amazing host! communication was prompt, thoughtful and professional. Little huccups (my fault entirely) handled immediately. Informative is an understatement! Fabulous tips, suggestions and recommendations! This property is immaculately maintained spotless and with thoughtful touches throughout (looking at you Fall pumpkins!)Everyone in our party found the bedding comfortable and we all loved the layout of the home. Plenty of seating inside and out. Morning coffee on the deck is not to be missed. Neighborhood is quiet and for us, a welcome break from the crowds and busy roads in Galveston proper. Very easy quick drive or bike ride to the beach or rent a golf cart for added fun! We appreciated the beach items provided and enjoyed the bikes! Although fishing was tough this week, we spent many hours on the lower deck trying our luck with the underwater lights and we felt very secure there with our 8 year old. This property really does anticipate your needs and works hard to meet them. I hesitate to make a suggestion for fear of sounding like we weren't completely satisfied, but I would say the addition of rod holders would be welcome for those determined to make a catch. Wifi was perfect and the ramp made entries and gear hauling a breeze! We are already planning our next booking here, for longer stay!
