The condo was super clean and easy to access. It’s located perfectly near the Beach Club and beach access. It’s beautifully decorated and the check-out was just as easy as check-in. Our end-of-summer trip went off without a hitch!

Lovely apartment and grounds. The pool was nice and we were in the prime location which was close to the office, pool and restaurant. Would have given it a 5 except our tv only got utube and no regular channels even though this was communicated to property owner/manager. The beach was not crowded which was also nice.

This is our fourth year to stay at Pointe West and this was another great unit! Communication and check-in/out were seamless. The unit is tastefully decorated and all beds/furniture are very comfortable. The kitchen has basic cooking tools and while no big deal, no measuring cups. The patio seating and views made for great relaxation and you can’t beat the assigned parking spot and proximity to beach/pool. Definitely recommend!

Great unit for small family

This is my 4th stay at Pointe West and this was probably the nicest unit so far! Great balcony set up with nice furniture for your morning coffee.

Great Stay!

This property is in a great location! Close to the Beach Club entrance. Overlooks a water feature. Huge balcony. Nicely furnished. No frills or extras but it had everything our family needed. We would definitely stay again.

Enjoyed our stay…

Definitely enjoyed our stay… Little hiccup upon arrival - door code didn’t work, so we used the spare key all week. 2nd time staying at Pointe West - the grounds were neat, people were friendly, and the pool and lazy river did not disappoint. Love the short walk over the dunes to the beach, just wish the jellyfish hadn’t made such an early appearance this year. :( Only negatives: toilet seat in 2nd bathroom is hanging on by a thread, kitchen could stock up on some basics for travelers: salt and pepper (our first breakfast eggs got no love), coffee filters, Tupperware for leftovers, etc. Overall, really enjoyed our stay - condo was spacious and clean, comfy beds, huge patio space!

Excellent property

Excellent property near the club house! Very clean and near the elevator and stairs. There isn’t a hairdryer like reported in a previous review. Overall it’s a great property and I would definitely rent again!

We loved our condo and the resort facility!!The Beach Club was amazing, the restaurant convenient with good food and the condo layout perfect for us and our teenage granddaughter. Truly a week of wonderful memories we will treasure!!

Great week at Pointe West!

This is our 4th trip to Pointe West. We had a wonderful stay. The unit was clean and close to the pool and beach. My only suggestion would be to include more “necessities” in the unit. For example, we had to buy extra paper towel and antibacterial soap to wash our hands.

Very nice

Great location! Close to the main pool and beach access. Make sure to get groceries in a major city such as Galveston otherwise you will be paying more at the gas stations/grocery stores. As far as I know, there are no breakfast restaurants nearby but the restaurant on site for lunch and dinner is very good.

Beautiful condo

This was the perfect condo for our family of 4. The only thing that was different from other condos we’ve stayed at in pointe west was this one was a bit bare. There wasn’t a hairdryer and no extra cooking items in the cabinets. Definitely not an issue, just a difference. The condo was super close to the beach and the beach club which was awesome! It was clean and spacious.

Nice condo

The condo was very nice and as described/pictured on VRBO. The only thing that needs a little improvement is the rental mgmt by Vacasa. We were staying for 5 nights and they only stocked 2 dishwasher tabs. They ask guests to run the dishes on the way out, so this meant only one for us. I would have brought some had I known this, but I thought calling Vacasa would be no big deal and they’d bring more, but the rep acted like I was out of line for my request. After I insisted that they needed to ask housekeeping to bring more they did so, but it was very odd handling. Also, the cleanliness does not get a 5 because my kid cut her foot on shards of broken glass in the breakfast area that must have been there from previous guests.

Beautiful Property

We had a wonderful time! The condo is beautiful and looks even better in person than in the photos. Everything was extremely clean and the kitchens and bathrooms were stocked well and had everything we needed! The Beach club was fun, the beach was beautiful and private. We hope to be back!

Family beach retreat

Great time - condo is located very close to the beach club pool and the beach. Kids loved the lazy river and the pool. Plenty of room in the condo and having 2 bathrooms was great. Wonderful stay!

Close to beach - make sure you pack essentials!

We stay in VRBO properties all the time. This is the very first one that did not have basic necessities. No pot holders, no dish towels, no dish rags, no paper towels, no hair dryer, no chairs on patio as pictured, blinds in guest bedroom are all tied up so you can't get any privacy in that room. It just felt neglected. I'm not sure when the owner last stayed but you can tell it's not a priority for them. They ask you to clean if you spill yet they don't leave you anything to clean with. Quite a few maintenance repairs left 50% complete. We actually emailed the Vacasa people twice with no response. Just know if you rent this place you are on your own! The location is perfect and community pool is amazing!

We really enjoyed our stay at Pointe West and Seas the Day. The amenities were great, a very short walk to everything we needed! The view from the balcony was wonderful, unfortunately the deck chairs were broken, but that didn't stop us from enjoying the balcony. The beach is very clean and a short walk. We will definitely be back!

Clean and very convenient to club house

Great layout. Would rent again but wish there was a way to lock the entry door from the inside. I have two small children who could easily open it which was a bit stressful.
