We loved the condo we stayed in. Furnishing were on point & very clean.Stock with everything you might need. I wished they would have told us about sand toys, lawn chairs, rafts etc... The only draw back was the Lazy River was closed. We enjoyed fishing, the other pool & restaurant

We recently rented a condo in Pointe West and had a fantastic experience. The unit was clean, comfortable, and came with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights was the private balcony with a beautiful view — perfect for morning coffee or evening sunsets.The property amenities were great, especially the lazy river pool. It was a fun and relaxing way to spend time outside, and the additional features like the outdoor grills and corn hole games made it even better. Everything was well-maintained, and we had no issues during our stay.Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely recommend this condo to others looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Galveston.

Peaceful Bayfront Escape – A Hidden Gem in Galveston!

Our recent stay at a bayfront condominium in Galveston, Texas was absolutely amazing! Tucked away from the busier beach crowds, this place gave us the perfect combination of tranquility, comfort, and scenic beauty.The condo itself was spotless, spacious, and tastefully decorated—truly felt like a home away from home. What made it unforgettable, though, was the view: every evening we sat on the balcony overlooking the bay. Being on the bay gave the whole trip a more peaceful, relaxing vibe. We enjoyed watching boats drift by, spotting seabirds, and soaking in the calm breeze. It was a perfect setting for morning coffee or a quiet glass of wine at night.

Excellent owner

This VRBO owner is very responsive and she thought of everything. There’s coffee with all the fixings, the kitchen is fully stocked, the condo is beautiful and comfortable. My only issue was that the Point West photos make the pools and lazy River appear much larger than they actually are. Not a big deal. We still had fun. But the main pool was really overcrowded. Overall our stay was fabulous!

Lovely Thanksgiving!

Home away from home

A second wind offers beautiful views within a cozy, comfortable setting that makes you feel like home. The views will take you to another place entirely; offering an escape from the everyday routine. You will enjoy sitting outside watching the sunsets only to have the gorgeous beachfront nearby. While relaxing inside you will have all the necessities to help get dinner on the table with your family, to having multiple seating options for movie night. A second wind will feel like your second home.

Great family getaway

We had a fantastic stay here with our family of 8. We have stayed in a lot of holiday rentals and this is one of the best--it truly has everything we needed. We really appreciated that there were beach chairs and toys plus a wagon for us to use. Plus plenty of dish washer and washing machine tabs, paper towels, plastic wrap for food and trash bags (some places can be really stingy with these items or don't provide them at all). Priscilla is wonderful--she responded immediately to any of my messages. I initially could not find the trash bags and Priscilla actually had a new package delivered the next day just to make sure we had enough. The beds were very comfortable and provided enough space for 2 couples, 3 kids and a grandparent. The views are outstanding from all sides. The kids loved fishing in the pond and going to the club house pool. We usually go to Port A every summer but the family loved our weekend so much that it looks like we'll be back in Galveston next summer! I don't have any negatives about the property. I would recommend that visitors make sure they have all the groceries they need as it's a pretty long drive to any stores (but this also means that the beaches in the area are less crowded). Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Gorgeous Property & Great Condo

Our family spent the week at Pointe West and had a great time. Condo was very clean, up to date with everything you would need and more. Pointe west had great pools, fantastic beach (for Galveston) and gorgeous views on the bay side. While we where there the restaurant and bar where closed which kinda sucked because the places that delivered food where a long way away and food was cold by the time it was delivered. Plus they know they are offering a big service so it’s expensive to order out. We cooked most nights but that’s not exactly how we wanted to spend the vacation. With the restaurant being closed you had to bring your own drinks to the pool but even though the main pool wasn’t open you couldn’t bring in beer, or a mixed drink which we thought was strange. By doing this it seemed to push the majority of the people to the smaller Sunset Pool. The condo is great and point west is an amazing family spot right here in Texas. Don’t miss out *one thing was the elevator smelled terrible the entire week.

Summer fun in Galveston

Our family of six adults and two grandchildren had a wonderful stay in the condo. The home was nicely furnished and had a great view of the bay. We played in the lazy river, the big pool, the beach and did a little fishing with the kids off the dock. Thankful to have the time together without traveling a long way. It was our second time at Pointe West and we'll be back!

Perfect location!

We absolutely loved our stay in Galveston! This condo is located away from the busy part of Galveston, which is exactly what we wanted. The condo felt homey and was very clean! Beautiful condo, great views, beds other than bunk beds were awesome! Plenty of beach equipment and we left 4 tubes too! Lots of seasoning in the kitchen and everything else you would want you don’t need to bring anything!! 6 of us loved it and we’ll be back!

Amazing place with beautiful views. Away from the main bustle and a great place for a family to recharge and something for everyone. Plenty of space for everyone the condo had everything we needed and more. Not a single complaint!

Wonderful views and very clean!

This Condo was exceptional. It worked out so well for my family of 7 ranging in age from 23 to 81. It was very well stocked and was very clean. We only had one incident with the elevator that actually broke on the first night. They were able to get it fixed by the next morning. Overall I would definitely stay here again.
