Beautiful facility. Spacious condo. Nicely appointed and quality finish. Fitness center was large and updated. Pools, lazy river, and hot tubs outdoors were great. Indoor pool was also nice for a change of pace. View was amazing, both feom the balcony and from the shared fitness center. Very pleased with this condo!

This was the most beautiful rental so clean, so Chris the views are stunning. The facilities are great. The amenities are great. We just had the best time and our host was great to work with even when I called her on accident. definitely be back

Best beach stay in Galveston EVER!

We decided to choose this property for our weekend stay because of the location on the beach, and all of the amenities it provided. We were happy to see that the pictures and description of the property were exactly as it was in person, if not better. We will definitely be back! The only problem was I didn’t book it for long enough. It went by too fast lol

Wonderful Vacation in Galveston!

The condo and property are both beautiful, nicely maintained, and clean. We had such a fun time with the lazy river and game room. And the location is ideal for the many attractions and tours that Galveston has to offer.

great visit

We chose this location because the weather was likely to be rainy and there were many options other than the beach for the kids. The condo was nicely maintained and had everything we needed. It was truly amazing because almost no one was there and we had the beach and the pool almost all to ourselves. I have only two negative for our trip, one is that the beach is not behind the condos but rather to the side and requires a very short walk. The seawall is behind the condos and people park there and fish which is not a problem but would have prefered to have the beach as our view. We did however have a GREAT view of the ocean. This leads me to my second comment which is that there are large panels of plantation shutter on the windows. I am sure they are helpful in the summer when the sun can be very strong, but they do not fold out of the way very well and honestly blocked the view a little and were a pain. Something that lowers from the ceiling would make more sense. Honestly if that is the only negatives, then you can see that we had a really great time and would definitely return again. Thank you for sharing your lovely condo with us!

Great stay

This beach side beach condo was great. It was exactly what we were looking for our family. Check in at the desk was a breeze and the staff were friendly and helpful all weekend. We enjoyed the beach, outdoor pool, and indoor pools which were all easily accessible. The game room was a big hit with our kids. Some things that may be helpful to know is that there is no boardwalk to the beach. There is a gate to the sand dunes to the beach, which requires one to walk down the dune to the beach. This was fine, though it had rained so it was incredibly muddy. This walk was difficult for a movement handicapped person in our group, or a less physically able-ed person to maneuver. The condo was stocked with beach towels, which was very helpful. We brought our own beach chairs, beach toys, and hair dryer (though there is one provided). There was a Keurig and a drip coffee maker provided though we had to go out to purchase coffee for these machines. We also went out to purchase our own laundry detergent to use the washer and dryer in the unit. The condo was clean upon arrival, though there was a dead roach on one of the chairs in the bedroom when we arrived. We had no other issue with pests during our stay and the condo was overall very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed sitting and eating on the balcony, which is large enough for a picnic table and seating set. You have a great view of the outdoor pool and beach from the balcony. Overall it was a great stay!

Great Condo with amazing views!

This condo was perfect for our getaway to the beach! We loved the pool, hot tub and lazy river. The kids loved the game room and the indoor pool. The condo is clean and had everything we needed for our family of 4. The kids loved the bunk beds. The balcony is perfect for relaxing while listening to the waves. Highly recommend!

Feedback on Diamond Resort

Overall our stay was alright. It’s expensive to stay here. There was only one elevator working the entire 7 day stay. The main pool was closed due to replacing the roof bc of storm but it was not functional b4 our stay. The last 2 nights of our stay there was a group of teenage boys running the halls at night that had to be reported several times. The electricity on our stove/oven/micro in our condo blinked and “sizzled” several times one night and then the micro stopped completely. It was scary and luckily only one evening. It was reported to condo mgmt and property manager.

Condo paradise!!

If you are looking for a great beach getaway for your family, this is it. The condo is everything and has everything you could want. It’s clean, spacious, and has excellent beach views from a large balcony overlooking the resort-style pool. Unfortunately, our stay coincided with the aftermath of a hurricane, so the pool and lazy river were closed for maintenance. However, Jessica, the owner, was fantastic! Despite the circumstances being out of her control, she went over and beyond to keep us well informed and made special accommodations to ensure our stay was still great. Even without access to the resort-style pool and lazy river, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We will definitely be back in the future!

clean & cozy condo

this was our family’s fifth stay at diamond beach, our first visit at this unit. it was a lovely unit that is well maintained with adequate essentials (ie beach towels, kitchen basics, extra linens/blankets, etc). the unit is overall very comfortable and i loved being in the fourth floor. we hope to rent this unit again - excellent host.

Quick Family Getaway

We had a great stay! I couldn't be happier with this booking. Amazing pools and lazy river. The grounds of the complex were very well kept and the building had great amenities that made it feel like a resort. There were some public gas grills that were cleaned up everyday free for use. You also don't need to cross a street to get down to the beach, which was nice. This unit is great for kids, it's on the same floor as the game room (free video games) but far enough away that you can't hear any noise from it. The kitchen was well outfitted with everything you could need. Unit was very clean and the linens fresh. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a place in Galveston.

Short vacation

I have stayed here before with my family. Great place to stay, lots of things to do. They have a lazy river also a large pool with Jacuzzi where you do not feel overcrowded. Easy walk to the beach. I will stay again. Condo was clean provided everything even beach towels.
