Galveston Vacation

The house had a disjointed layout. We loved the upstairs room and loft and all the balconies. The cabinets needed repair, some didn't close all the way. They kitchen had everything we needed, but was pretty basic. The water in the outdoor shower came out very light, so we ended up using the water hose to rinse off instead. The location and neighborhood were great!

Needs TLC

First there was no key in the key box but it turns out you don’t need one because the main exterior door was unlocked when we arrived. We were a little nervous wondering if anyone was inside. Also the exterior door doesn’t lock at all which was very unsettling since we used the bottom floor room also which opens to the exterior door. It was creepy vibes especially the way rooms were laid out. Watch your step between the main rooms as the floors are lot level through the doorways. There were gnats & flies inside & a roach crawled out of a kitchen drawer. Most outside deck lights don’t work. The microwave had some type of electrical issue so the door would not open unless you unplug it first. Flickering lights in the kitchen also might be an electrical issue. Needless to say I didn’t sleep well with everyone spread over 3 levels. Extremely humid & dank inside on the main floor. The living room was nice & open with good views. The 3rd level bedroom was open & spacious but no tv remote for the volume. Plenty of towels & some cleaning supplies included. Great location though if you want less beach traffic. Ok for families but not for elderly or those with issues climbing stairs.

Property is nice and right on the beach

Property is nice and right on the beach. It’s run by a management company and their response time is decent. There is an abandoned property right on the beach across from it that is an eyesore but it’s not the owners fault. We enjoyed the house and would recommend.

This house is DISGUSTING!!!!!!

Where to even start? This home was a total DUMP! I actually feel scammed. The home is nothing like the photos. We had so many issues and couldn’t ever get ahold of anyone. We got there and the home was dirty. Wet pull ups outside on the property, pretzels all over, and dirt all over the fridge. We tried to put our food in the pantry and found rat droppings along with rat traps. DISGUSTING! The oven does not heat past 300 degrees, the grill is so rusted you can’t even use it, door handles were falling off the doors, mold on the ceiling and all over air vents, dryer wasn’t working properly, shower doors would barely slide open without falling off the tracks. Let’s just say nothing worked in this house!! We couldn’t even use the living room tv because there wasn't a remote anywhere. Do yourself a favor and AVOID this house because I sure wish I did, especially for the price. I am beyond disappointed and disgusted!!!!!

Great location close to beach

Lots of seating inside and out great porches. House had gnats and roaches. Shower door rusted wouldn’t close. House old not very clean. No toaster but two coffee pots. Oven didn’t go up to temp. Lots of stairs in house. Not sure I’d rent again.

Great house

The location was perfect. We really enjoyed it being right on the beach. Super comfortable. Neighborhood was quiet. Great communication. Will stay again at this property if we are in the area.

Great Location

Beach house is in a great location and suitable for multiple families or large groups. We were a group of four adults, so the downstairs room was not desirable (dark, a bit musty, and remote from the rest of the house) and so we "doubled-up" in the upstairs room with multiple beds. It would be perfect for children/teen agers though. The house was well-supplied (furniture, kitchen) and the decks were very relaxing. Some areas could use some refreshing, but we realize salt air/sand is rough on houses, so it was not a problem. I think most groups would be very happy with a stay here.

Do NOT book this property!!!!

This property may appear beautiful in the pictures however this house was disgusting.. it smelled so bad, roaches, blood stain sheets, food under the bed.. do yourself a favor and pass .. it’s unhealthy to stay in this house.

Family time🤗

Great visit. Loved the location and proximity to the beach. With five grandchildren five (ages 7 mo-5) it was wonderful to walk only six feet to the sand! Indoor dining was a little cramped and disappointed with the decor of the bottom floor bedroom. Conflicting info between listing and email inquiries on availability of beach equipment and propane caused fine inconvenience. Regardless, the space was well pretty well designed for four families.

Perfect location!

The house was perfect for our family! We had our infant granddaughter and the downstairs bedroom was perfect for her. I would say the only problem is that the downstairs bathroom doesn’t have a shower. It didn’t matter for the baby but if older children or a couple were staying there they would have to go upstairs to shower. But for us it didn’t matter and we had an amazing 8 days there! The views are amazing off both balconies, it was a well appointed house and very comfortable.

Beautiful house with great location

The house was very clean and ready for us when we arrived. It’s right on the beach as advertised. The rooms were big and comfortable, and it was really a perfect rental for the whole family.
