This property could be spectacular with a little TLC and updating. The layout worked for us with 10 people. We were in Galveston during a rainy week so most of our time was spent in the house.The kitchen was great for cooking meals for a group. Hint I took most of the food frozen so I didn't have to spend my time cooking. The items stocked in the house worked out just fine for us. The deck and outside were spectacular for the time that was not raining.

The keys didn’t match’s the locks on the front or back door and the guest that got there first was locked out for 45 mins in the cold and the lady one the phone wasn’t very helpful. Eventually maintenance came out and said they had to change the lock and we couldn’t lock the top lock. We didn’t have access to the game room for a full day due the key ordeal, once we got access we couldn’t stay in the game room long because it smelled of mold and mildew.The main floor had soft spots in the floors in the living room and the master bedroom, they’re weren’t an adequate amount of towels or wash clothes and we had to ask for those. Russel who we contacted through the app was polite and responsive, but when the cleaners arrived they only arrived with wash clothes and we had to send the back for towels. For the stay we had I would say it was very overpriced. We will be contacting the property manager for a partial refund due to the lack of access to the whole property and being locked out.

We utilized the space for a Ladies Weekend getaway. Friday night we noticed right away there were roaches in the kitchen as we began to start cooking. We only noticed them in the kitchen. Everyone slept in the main house area because the Downstairs room that has the 6 bunk beds, was full of mosquitos and the only access to the room was by outside stairs, at night, the lighting was a bit dim for this too, so if your group is drinking, be careful. I was surprised that the third bathroom was completely outside and downstairs. Again, the mosquitos will keep you company. The view in the daytime is peaceful and the walk to the beach isnt bad at all. If you want to use the fire pit you have to bring your own supply, and be careful of the deck! Some nails are not all the way in!

The property itself was gorgeous. The host however was LESS than accommodating. Upon arrival it was very unclear how to get inside the home. Once inside, the downstairs bedrooms listed as a “game/entertainment” room were INFESTED with roaches. Multiple very large roaches. Shortly after informing the host they did nothing to remedy this. After this discovery the roaches continued ALL over the kitchen and its cabinets. The sheets were also full of hair and unwashed, with stains throughout and even a few hair ties, all of which I had taken photos of and sent to the host who simply said “sorry about that”. Will never ever stay here again. This was my wedding trip and I had all of my family who was very excited to stay in this home who ended up having to wash their own sheets and clean up roaches on their vacation. Embarrassing.

This house was nice for a large group. The sleeping arrangements were almost spot on for our 19 member group. I think the website should include that the third bathroom is actually the outdoor shower area.

This is the perfect property for a large group. So close to the beach, gorgeous panoramic views, so many spaces for entertaining. The floor plan is fantastic and the house is well equipped. Props to the host for being very responsive and helpful. Fire pit, ping pong, and so much more. WYSIWYG - an awesome experience!

The check in process was very easy and accommodating. Upon entry the house was very clean. As we began to settle in we noticed the floors were chipping and some slight mold in the bathrooms. Also bathroom toilet seats were not secure. The floors throughout creeked pretty badly and some parts were lifted. We absolutely loved the gaming room downstairs. We never realized we had to completely exit the home to enter the basement part of the house. Made it quite difficult for our kids but we managed. The pool and yard looked wonderful and we wish it wasn't too cold to swim!

We enjoyed the property and believe it has so much potential. It was a great space with lots of room. It was pretty dirty from previous renters though. Light fixtures were extremely dusty, floors were sticky, dishes weren’t clean, there was trash from previous renters and tape stuck to a lot of things, and the door knobs were missing on a lot of doors, bugs cooked into the coffee pot, we couldn’t find some light switches we would have liked and not much privacy in restrooms. I believe it could be great if it were cleaner and a little more love to the house. We had a great time and did love our stay but for the price we believe it needs a lot more attention.
