Our stay at Seaside Haven was wonderful! The house was very clean upon arrival and we had everything we needed for a relaxing and fun stay in Galveston. The neighborhood was nice and quiet for the most part, although being the first house by the entrance made for a bit of traffic noise with vehicles coming in and out. It was a very short walk to the beach and all beach equipment was provided, including EZ up, chairs, wagon, boogie boards, sand toys, and life jackets. We didn’t need to bring a thing! The proximity to town was perfect while also being far enough away to avoid the crowds. Our daughters also loved the games and toys provided. We especially enjoyed the breeze on both balconies and the comfortable beds. The only thing I would suggest is bringing your own ice, as the ice machine is very slow to produce. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely come again!

We loved the house, the neighborhood & short walk to the beach! The kids loved the extra beach sand buckets & shovels & the flashlights in the closet for sand crabbing at night was the cherry on top! . Thank you for sharing the house with us - it’s absolutely beautiful!

Beautiful Home in Beachside Village

We enjoyed our stay . The home was clean and inviting. The only issue was the AC. At night the bedrooms were really warm. All bedrooms were upstsirs! Home is near the front entrance we didn't experience any real noise though ! Great access to the beach!

Beatiful beach house

Beautiful beach house. Every space of the house was very clean, all the bedrooms and bathrooms are so nice and comfortables, the kitchen is equipped with all you need for cooking your own meals. The neighborhood is very nice and secured. Excellent location. Close to the beach just two blocks away and you can enjoy the ocean view. I very recommend this beautiful house.

Feedback The lockbox where the house keys were, didn’t work correctly. Second bath upstairs bath tub is not draining enough. You need to include a handle to avoid slippery. First day we got to the house, there were a few water bottles around the entrance and back of the house. The carpet under the dining table keeps folding one corner and we tripped all the time. This is a liability.

Great place/great location

Our family took a vacation to Galveston in October. We used to live there and knew this was a great month to go, and we had a blast. The house is in a great location, close to the entry and extra parking, short walk to the beach, and well furnished. The only complaints we had were little things which could easily be remedied. There were 8 of us, 2 babies and 6 adults, and there was one roll of paper towels, and two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, and two kitchen towels. We created a great deal of trash cooking so often and there were only 3 trash bags as well. Luckily, Walmart is close by but with such a wonderful house they really need to fix this. It would have been perfect had we not had to make trips to the store! If you have difficulty with stairs, don’t stay here, there are a lot! We did fine but carrying babies got difficult. If you go, this place is wonderful and we would stay again, but know the chat is difficult to get in touch with and there were a few cleaning things that grossed us out. Otherwise, if your family is beach loving, this is the spot for you. BUT take paper goods and utensils l, I think there were 4 spoons. You’ll also need wash powder and dishwasher detergent!

Great location. Quiet Beach

We loved the location of the home, it was a very quick walk to the beach. All the sand toys, chairs, wagon and pop up tent made the beach easy and fun. The house was very clean and comfortable. A previous poster mentioned the grill was not in good order, it seems to have been replaced and a nice gas grill is available. Our 3 generations of family members all had a wonderful time. Some tips for future bookers: Bring extra trash bags. You must bag all trash but they only offered 3 bags for a 4 day trip Bring your own beach towels Bring extra paper towels. Only one roll provided. Bring a few extra dish towels if you are going to cook. They only provided 2.

Quick Family Trip

Beautiful home in a great location with awesome amenities. All you need to bring is your luggage and groceries, they have everything else - pots, pans, utensils, full size w/d, etc. I enjoyed my quiet time on the porch and the short walk to the beach.

Unresponsive Property Manager

We followed the provided directions on how to communicate any issues with the property. We did that on two separate occasions and received no response until three days after checkout. The property itself was great but we had a poor experience with Vacasa.

Everything was just like the pictures. Get stay. Only thing is wish there were more towels and some throw blankets for watching TV. May also want to wash the comforters on the bed, they were a little stained.
