Short but Sweet

The location of the house to the park, pool, bay, and beach were in a very convenient spot. The golf cart helps to keep your vehicle clean and it was fun moving to each location with it. The house is clean and had plenty of supplies. There was plenty to do and not having to travel looking for activities. We enjoyed our quality time together. The host responded quickly and was very helpful. Thank you for that! No complaints. I appreciate booking on short notice in addition to our arriving later than anticipated.

R&R Get-A-Way

This was our third stay at the Salty Seahorse. We love this house. It has everything you need. The golf cart is perfect for traveling around. The pool is refreshing. The location is great. Just a few blocks from the beach. Tara is an excellent host and checks in to make sure everything is going well. Looking forward to our next stay.

Anniversary Get-A-Way

The Salty Seahorse is great! This was our second time to stay here. Tara is an excellent host. The house is perfect. It offers everything needed for a perfect stay. The golf cart is great for going to the side of neighborhood to see gorgeous sunsets. The pool is refreshing after being on the beach all day. This was our second stay and will definitely not be our last. Looking forward to our next beach getaway at the Salty Seahorse.

Paid too much for what we got

House was very clean, but it really needs some water pressure in the bathroom. Was really disappointed with the outside furniture and the deck really needs some repair!! We actually went to the hardware store and bought screws for the board that was sticking up as soon as you got to the top landing. We almost tripped on the board. We have stayed at many Vrbo's in the past but this one was a disapointment.

Wonderful Time!

We had an excellent stay with Tara. The property was immaculate and so welcoming - with all the comforts of home. Darling decor, beds were very comfortable, and communication very easy. LOVED the pool and outdoor bar/fire pit area the best! Golf cart to the beach was super convenient (worth the extra $$) and highly recommend the "Shrimp N More" food truck at the end of the street, too, was fresh and delicious (way better than all of the $200 dinners we had). We will definitely be back next year.

We enjoyed the property, it had everything we needed inside and outside for the beach and pool. Beach toys and chairs were such a wonderful asset. The distance from the house to the beach is convenient, just minutes away. We didn’t take advantage of the golf cart but would encourage it since the drive to the beach is so close.

Just Like Home

We had a great stay at the salty seahorse in early May. This home had everything we needed to feel just like home. We brought all our own groceries and when we arrived we had everything we needed to prepare our meals. We picked this stay because of the private pool and it was perfect. The rec room and seating area downstairs are perfect for a backyard vacation. Short drive to public beach entries.

Was a very good stay

Property is very nice and located in a good neighborhood. Quite at night and very relaxing. Pressure of water could be better in bathroom and I think the expectations for golf carts throughout galveston are kinda strange. They treat them like automobiles. All around, very nice stay. I would definitely stay again.

Wonderful Beach House!

We loved the house and the pool! Very well decorated and maintained. Not far from the beach, but we honestly spent more time in the back yard swimming in the pool and relaxing. Everything we needed was at the house, so there really wasn't any big reason to leave to grab things we might have forgotten. We definitely plan on renting again next summer! Thanks so much for a great mini-vacation!

Fun in the sun in Jamaica Beach!

The Salty Seahorse- a great place to stay in Jamica Beach! It was easy to find, clean, dog friendly, had all the amenities we needed. , good fishing nearby, and convienently located need several beach access points. Which we loved! We'll be back next summer for sure. Thank you for everything Tara!
