I would like to say I only gave this place 3 stars for a one reason. We didn’t actually get to stay in this particular unit. We arrived and there was no electricity to the unit. It was after hours and they didn’t have anyone available to try and fix the issue. This was just bad luck on our part, point west went above and beyond to find us a room and get us taken care of. I would highly recommend them or this area to anyone. Giving them one star is rude, the place looked nice….in the dark lol. But again nobody’s fault just bad luck. I’d definitely try to stay there again!

The condo was spotless and comfortable. The view was incredible! Service from the rental agency was good. However think carefully about this property if you have mobility issues. I reported the elevator having issues before 9:00 on Thursday. By Friday it had quit working altogether. We checked out on Saturday. I was traveling with 2-81 year olds. I had to carry all our luggage and supplies down 3 flights of stairs all by myself, took me 5 trips. I asked for someone to come help, but was offered a late checkout instead.

The view from the balcony is absolutely breathtaking! This is a fantastic location. I’ve stayed at several Point West condos, but this one stands out as the best overall.

We loved our stay!! Saltwater Breeze is a beautiful property! It was nicely and thoughtfully decorated. We loved being able to sit out on the deck and see the beach. Pointe West management and staff were great with communication. A nice quiet part of the island and we loved our little getaway!

You need to clean out the J-traps on the sinks including the kitchen sink. Need to replace the AC filter.

Great Condo

The condo is exactly as listed. It’s located on a private beach so not busy at all. The actual condo is well insulated so outside noises are not an issue. We love the condo and location and will definitely be back!

Galveston Spring Break 2025

We had an 87 year old, 57 year old, 35 year old, 9 and 7. The place was setup great with a wonderful view of the ocean. The beach was amazing. The area was great and we felt very safe. One issue was the elevator was down for a day which was a little worrisome with an 87 year old who can’t go down stairs. The bed in the second bedroom was extremely hard.

Great relaxing getaway

It’s such a great getaway. We’re already planning our next trip. The beaches are clean, you’re far out of town so it’s quiet. We were there for spring break and there was no partying going on. Property is very well-maintained and cozy.It would’ve been nice to know that you have to get a wristband for the pool before the office closes at 5 PM. Since we checked in shortly after 4PM, we missed that window the first day.

Time with friends and family.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The condo was beautifully furnished, very clean, and everything was in perfect working order. We had friends and family coming and going throughout the three day stay. Everything was as advertised and even more.

Great stay!

Lovely condo with space for 4 adults and 2 kiddos. Amazing patio and views of the ocean. The beach was also perfect and clean. This condo has everything you needed plus some for an amazing stay! Oh and the master shower was delightful! The only negative was the mosquitoes which could not be prevented with all the rain Galveston had the week prior. Also there was a bit of a musty smell but I do think this is pretty much every condo in the area being so close to the sea. We would stay here again! I’m looking forward to maybe returning in the fall.

Nice place!

Beautiful, clean, great views and amenities. Only note is the fan in the bunk room is loud and needs to be repaired or replaced. That room gets warm.

Great Lovation!

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was very clean. The elevator was out for the majority of our stay (was not an issue for us but just wanted to warn people to not depend on it). The walk way to the beach was super close to this unit and about a 4 minute walk to the beach club! The main restraunts are a good 20 minute drive in either direction but we typically made sandwiches and breakfast there! Will definitely come back to this unit the next time we come! If you come in from Freeport make sure you have 2$ for the bridge toll.

Amazing Stay

Beautifully decorated condo with awesome view and comfortable patio furniture. We cook a lot on vacation and this condo had everything we needed and great cookware. Cute beach themes, comfortable beds, so close to walkover to beach. Good wifi too. We had a wonderful time!

Great stay

Great experience, great condo. Guest bathroom shower nozzle not working right. Great beds and couches. Great master bathroom. Loved the puzzles and games for kids. Good tv. Great balcony furniture. Would rent again

Short trip, big fun!

We planned a Sun-Wed stay but had plenty of beach and pool time. We just wanted some relaxing beach and family time. With young adult children its hard to find places that fit us all, but we all had plenty of space to sleep, hangout and relax. The whole family said they would stay here again! We loved having the pools as a choice along with the beach!

Family weekend
