Not what is advertised

Pros The view The fishing The AC Lots of fishing poles Cons Advertised as new - it’s not Advertised as 4 bathrooms - has 3Advertised as a “suite” on ground floor - you have to go outside to the other side for bathroom which was dirty with trash and underwear on the floor Must bring paper goods, trash bags, and soap - i feel for the price these basics should be included as they are in every other house in Jamaica Beach we have stayed. The kayaks were unusable The swinging chairs were broken and unusable The knob on the firepit was frozen and therefore unusable Renter beware - you are not getting what is advertised

Great house. It has so much more than any rental. Pots and pans, fishing gear, kayaks and so much I cant even think of. Great views. Great fishing!

Great Christmas vacation!

The place was awesome and the Galveston rental property i picked up the keys from was super helpful and answered my questions. VRBO in the other hand is not helpful and that's all I say about that.

Guys weekend fishing trip

Awesome house in an awesome location. House was a described and was clean when we arrived. Managed to catch a few fish off the dock and even more out in the bay off our boats. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic View

The main house and outdoor area were fantastic! Little details were missed though. Light bulbs out in bathrooms. Dead bugs on floor. Had to bring our own toilet paper and paper towels. The downstairs bathroom and bedroom had a really bad a smell. If we had family or friends staying with us, we would have been embarrassed to ask them to use those rooms. We stay in.shirt term rentals a lot and this one definitely did not offer conveniences offered by other hosts.

Beautiful property, fantastic views day and night, even in less favorable fishing season caught fish and lots of crabs. Great service from management. We have always enjoyed the family atmosphere in Jamaica beach; lovely area and friendly folks. This was our third family get together in Jamaica Beach and we plan to be back.

Great house lousy weather!

Stayed thru Tropical storm Alberto. House was nice but not much to do but watch the storm. Good fishing from the dock when we were able to get on it. House was very comfortable. Had a relaxing stay with no fault to house just weather.

Bayfront Retreat

The home was great, plenty of room for guests. It was just my husband and I. The only negative thing was the home hadn’t been cleaned and we arrived late in the evening. So we had to wash a set of sheets to have someplace to sleep. There was an emergency number to call but no one answered so we had to leave a message. The next morning around 10:00, the Rental Company showed up but didn’t offer to comp the first night. This was very disappointing. Not the best way to run a business. Other than that it was a wonderful property. We fished and crabbed right off the boat doc outside the back door. BEWARE, the mosquitoes were terrible! We purchased a Thermacell from Walmart and it worked like a charm. We would definitely book again!

Amazing Views

We spent the Easter weekend with family and friends at this beautiful bayfront rental! We cannot say enough for the home and the views! I have to say I think this home has the best views on the island. The fishing was incredible right off of the dock and the home (and beds) were very comfortable with ample room for our family! The owner was very responsive. We will definitely stay here again! 5+ Star accommodations!

Weekend Getaway

This property is perfect!! The owner thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. It is well equipped, very clean, and very comfortable. The view and multiple outside seating areas are so relaxing. I would stay again and highly recommend it to everyone.

A Stress Free Break

The property was even nicer than the pictures could show. Everything was beautiful and ready for us when we arrived in the evening. Our children immediately began fishing with the provided poles and crab trap. My wife and I enjoyed the upper balcony where we could survey the beautiful views and keep our eye on the small fisherman and kayakers below. The kitchen was conducive to cooking and relaxing with an instapot, electric kettle, and other timesaving devices that made our stay that much more enjoyable. This trip allowed us to get away and make some special memories with our five children in a place that was quiet, beautiful, and well equipped to meet our family’s needs.

Great Fishing Spot!

The house was clean, in great condition and had everything we needed for our stay. We all caught so many fish right off the dock at night with the big light in front of the dock (great time), we also caught a bunch of crab of the dock. The shutters on the windows are awesome, being able to shut the light out is very nice!! Overall, we had a great trip to Jamica Beach, and the house was a big part of that.

Great house with a wonderful view of the bay

The house was everything you could ask for. Very clean and nice. Quiet and comfortable. Well setup to entertain. Downstairs bedroom was nice too. Wonderful view of the bay and setup to fish under the lights.

Prime fishing location!

There is no better location in Jamaica Beach than this. This was our first time staying on the actual bay—and being able to watch sunrise and sunset from the patios was so amazing. Also no better fishing location—they literally jump on to the hook and kids spent hours and hours just catching fish (and we dropped a crab trap and caught dozens of large blue claw crab). Nice split design with extra living area down below. Lots of parking for cars. We loved this rental and definitely want to stay in this location again.
