This house was the perfect location for my daughter’s bachelorette trip with friends! Beautiful house & views, and very attentive hosts. We would definitely come back!

Where to start! Home was very spacious, secure gated area, ample room and bathrooms. Home was not clean! Socks were dirty walking in home very little. All light fixtures were dirty, stove hood was so dirty and greasy that someone previous to our stay had wrote clean me on it! On wall coming out of hall bath, wall had brown matter on wall not sure if it was chocolate or poo but disgusting! In the room with bunk beds when the kids were going to bed bugs were crawling on wall! The bath towels had hair on them in two baths. Also pillowcases had hair on them. Also the 1 bedroom shower when we would turn water on for shower the bathroom lights would dim. Also the parking area is uneven so my wife fell due to uneven surface. The cofee pot was extremely dirty! Coffee filter with used grounds left in it! Could hardly get lid open to clean it! Ceiling vents extremely dirty! should not have had to clean home to stay! And i will not have my kids stay in the room with bugs so that was an issue!Very unhappy! When contacting the property i was told they will get back with me and did not!

Overall, the house was great for a stay in Galveston. Pros: Great communication with staff, Nice location on the bay, gated neighborhood, neighboring houses are not finished yet (so no neighbors), very quiet, lots of room & dog friendly!! Oh and fans provided in every room! Cons: Some areas of the house were very dirty; food on the floor in the kitchen, food on cabinets, something smeared on the walls in the hallway. The floor was super dirty. My feet were black after the first hour inside. Lots of plugs-ins don’t work. Also, don’t rely on the list of things provided. The list specifically says they provide coffee filters and laundry detergent, and there was none of either.

They cabin is very nice and I loved that it is pet friendly so I could bring my fur baby along for girls weekend! There were minor things like walls being dirty, dish washer was broken, and broken blinds but didn’t bother us. We had such a great time hanging out at the house and in the pool, which was such a great surprise! Will definitely book again next year!

Great location near beautiful beaches, and the host responded quickly. That’s where the positives end. The house was dirty, with broken blinds, missing items, no towel hooks (so everything hung over doors), and obvious wear and tear. Worst of all, it was crawling with roaches I saw 6-7 in one night, even though we cleaned up after every meal and put all food away. When I reported it, all I got was “sorry for the inconvenience, we’ll let our staff know.” This is not what you want for a family vacation.

Very Greasy

The Kitchen had roaches, the bedrooms, bathrooms as well. Masterbath had a faulty diverter. The odor was horrible. The tile was so dirty, sticky that I went to purchase a floor cleaner. It was a shame. It was large, had a great location. Even the doors and blinds were mangled. Lot's of potential, lazy caretakers.

Tried to clean it, went to Walmart to shower slides

Great Time

Wanted to go some place where it was quiet no traffic waking up to. Waking up to nature, bird singing and seen the Bay from deck was great. No loud Neighbors while we were there. Would of like a pool there to enjoy but it had a small place for kids to have fun. while we had some beers while enjoying that cool breeze at sundown. A

Great getaway!

Great house and property though I would nix the cowboy pool. Also, please consider a Keurig machine or listing the kind of coffee maker in the property so we know what to bring. Also the refrigerator wasn’t making ice.

We had a great stay short stay as we were visiting Schlitterbahn. House was very clean and looks just as pictured. Be careful when entering the address because leaving off just one letter “e” at the end of the word in the street name directed us to a completely different location on the island which was very far. I was able to call the host and get it resolved quickly.

Perfect stay for our 4 families

Location: We loved that the house is away from the crowds and in a gated community. The kids were able to run around without worry of traffic. Views of the big bridge and the bay are gorgeous. It’s no more than 10mins from beach access and stores like dollar general and gas stations. House: It fit our 4 families great (total of 15, 8 adults and 7 kids ages 4-13)! Each bedroom has its own bathroom plus a half bath by common area. There are tvs in every bedroom and beds and couches are good. Kitchen functioned great. Rooms are really sound proof so taking naps while everyone was awake and moving around was easy peasy. It was easy to tidy up and clean during check out. Oh and stairs up to the house are sturdy and not scary to go up and down with stuff and kids. Owner: very communicative checking in on us and very responsive. They appreciated any feedback back we had. Bonus: they have a Cowboy Pool by the parking area that was perfect for the kids. I seriously have no complaints at all and can’t wait to come back!

Off the beaten path

Small multigenerational family trip midweek. About a 15 minute drive to beaches. Walk a few hundred yards to wade fish. Like the stock pond pool for cooling off with the baby. House was great for our small group.
