Great House

We loved staying at this house as we had 15 people and had plenty of room and a fenced in back yard. Close enough to the beach that it was not bad taking our wagons and toys.

Great 2nd trip to this property. We had a very serious storm Saturday morning that caused some issues, but nothing the property management could have done anything about. They were responsive to my calls and texts. I would not hesitate to stay here a 3rd time.

Great Getaway

The house was perfectly located and had everything you needed! Large enough for big groups and nice it had a bathroom in every bedroom. Small issue with the exhaust flap on the outside of the master bedroom. Due to high winds it was very noisy. The management company attempted to have it fixed but couldn’t get the part to fix it. Management company needs to take a walk through of the property and make repairs of items that need attention- dirty air filters, nails on boardwalk to beach, gates in yard, exhaust flaps just to name a few. We enjoyed our stay!

50th Birthday

Overall it was Great. It Accommodated everyone comfortably and plenty of space. Only 13 miles to the strand. The bad part was the porch door did Not open easy!! Had to use the master bedroom door to get on the balcony. There’s a WIFI sign on and PW sign but no one was able to sign in and the TV was unavailable to sign on to watch. But we weren’t there to play on phones and watch tv. Great family time

We had a fantastic stay at this beach house! The home is beautifully maintained and offers all the amenities needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. It’s especially great for families with small children, as there are plenty of thoughtful touches throughout. The location is ideal, just a short walk to the beach, and the surroundings are peaceful and scenic. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would definitely recommend this property to others!

Longtime friends get-together

We had a great stay at Sunrise beach house. House is new and beds are very comfortable. There were a few minor issues that will be reported to management. Everyone wished the house was a little farther from the road, but otherwise great.

Vacation Ruined

We booked, paid for, and even confirmed this house was ready for our arrival prior to traveling to Galveston, only to find out it was under construction, inhabitable, and unsafe for us to stay in for even an hour let alone the 6 nights we paid for. This house had exposed electrical wiring from electrical outlets, one shower/rest room had the sheetrock completely removed and exposed plumbing, there was tons of water damage and mold as a result. There were several dehumidifiers throughout the house which made it difficult to walk around in the house. Our vacation was ruined and I spend 3 days trying to get VRBO and Vacasa to rectify our situation but did not receive even a remotely acceptable resolution and still haven't.

Was expected to Travel to a city that was struck by a Hurricane, a few days prior!!!

I booked a trip to Galveston, Texas, in May 2024 through Vacasa. A week before our check-in date, a hurricane hit the city. Concerned for our safety, I contacted Vacasa to assess the damage. They assured me they would update me the next day, but despite daily follow-ups, I was ignored. Given the lack of communication, I contacted VRBO, the booking platform. They agreed it was unsafe to travel, refunded their service fee, and suggested the host should refund the trip cost. However, VRBO couldn't enforce this and advised me to contact Vacasa again. Despite informing Vacasa of the situation and my decision not to travel, I was ignored. On the Monday of our check-in week, I received check-in instructions, disregarding my safety concerns. The power was still out in the city. It appears Vacasa ignored my concerns, hoping I would make a dangerous journey through several cities under a state of emergency. This would have placed my family, including elderly and young members, in a perilous situation. I am requesting Vacasa to refund my money as they continue to ignore my concerns. Desired Resolution: A full refund of the reservation cost. Thank you for addressing this urgent matter.

I'd give 10 stars if I could. BEAUTIFUL home. Absolutely everything we needed. No skimping anywhere. No long list of things to do before leaving. Great beach access. This is the best beach house we've ever stayed at. We want to come back in the winter !

Great Family Getaway

This is our second time staying at this house. We have really enjoyed this home away from home. It's a beautiful location and the sunrise and sunset views are amazing. The only negatives this time around were the house could use a nice deep clean. It was clean looking when we first walked in but once getting settled there were hairs in the rugs and grime in the corners. Hairs in some of the towels. Some of the door knobs needed a good tightening as they were hanging off the bedroom doors. The bunk beds were a bit wobbly and needed some screw tightening. Normal wear and tear things but do need to be addressed. Some of the frying pans had food residue left on them. There was a slight smoking smell and the windows were left slightly open. We still had a great time and made great memories in this house. We truly enjoyed our stay. I just hoped I wouldn't have to do a little extra cleaning on my vacation.

A Nice Little Get Away

This property is just gorgeous! The house is beautiful and well designed for a large group with a bathroom in every room PLUS a guest bathroom downstairs. The master bedroom offers a beautiful view to wake up to with just the right amount of privacy. Can we talk about the shower in there - AMAZING water pressure, making it feel like a vortex spa of relaxation! The family was able to quickly access the beach via the beautiful and scenic walkway down. The evenings on the porch were so relaxing! No need for tv/phones just pure relaxation. WE did have an issue with ants in the pantry along with other cleaning issues -but with all the other positives - we worked through it. Stores and restaurants are close by but you are far enough away from the shopping that it still feels relaxing! We had the best time! Don't think about this house - book it!

“Morning Sunrise on the Gulf.

Overall, the house was nice, spacious, with many amenities and places to relax. The access to the beach is great. We even found a little family of rabbits that live in the backyard. our only downside was difficulty with unlocking the door upon arrival and getting in touch and gettin in touch with trip services to help didn’t happen. We also had difficulty getting to speak with somebody about having no access to the house for a period of 45 minutes. We also were given incorrect information about Internet access.Both the Internet name, and the password key code for the Internet were incorrect that were given to us upon arrival. The owners had posted a card framed card inside the house that had the correct name of the Internet and the correct password on it. A suggestion would be more access to washcloth and towels for longer stays. And the washcloth given were very and thin and need to be replaced. My husband found and repaired replaced an arm that had come off a white adrirondak chair on the back porch discovers on arrival.This must have happen with a previous tennant. The soap dispenser on the dishwasher needs attention. The outdoor shower also has of a water leak perpetual drip going on all the time. Is it the propane tank outside need some attention paid to the rusted parts on the top of the tank. OK oh Ryan reminded me sometime during the week and I reminded myself last night or yesterday sometime he put our account number into the YouTube TV in the in the Living Ro

Women’s trip!

The house was perfect to host a women’s weekend - with its own boardwalk to the beach! Plenty of beds and room. The price was right and worth the stay. Easy check in and check out.

Sunrise Beach House

The house is well furnished, and the view was beautiful. However, it was advertised as non-smoking which was certainly not the case.When I called Vacasa to tell them about it, I was told to open all of the windows and doors to air the home. We're in an excessive heat wave. The heat was terrible. We then purchased air fresheners trying to deodorize. Members of our group have health problems. Two have CPAP'S. They had to change filters in their machines after they left because they wreaked of smoke. The home is definitely not a smoke free home. It also had an ant infestation in the kitchen. They need a new cleaning service and an exterminator.
