Million Dollar location and view. Inside cozy, well stocked and great appliances. Being on non-driving part of beach felt like private beach 75% of the time. A coat of paint on outside/deck and it should be the #1 rental in the neighborhood. Sunrise awesome. Late night seeing many ships lined up in the distance to get to the port was amazing. Again, views were amazing!Would 100% enjoy this location again.

The house was great, right on the beach and had all the amenities. We will be back! Highly recommended and the areas is very FAMILY friendly! Created very nice memories! The family of rabbits living in the neighborhood was cute for the kiddos! No natural predators there, just storks and gulls.

View and location are really hard to beat. It's far enough off the main highway that road noise is not an issue which can be with a lot of the homes. Four mile drive from the end of the seawall. Not our first stay here. The host responded quickly to any questions within minutes.

This house is literally on the beach! A storm blew in on our last day and the water rolled all the way to a couple yards from the house's sea barrier.The house looks washed out compared to many adjacent properties, but the main deck and interior are well kept and very comfortable. We ate out and had food delivered so did not cook. Laundry was fine. We had no pets and although pet friendly, there was no odor or hair anywhere.Issues communicated to the host: coffee machine needed to be cleaned and hot water was intermittent.The host goes to great length to provide everything you need for the stay. She is very attentive and pleasant to communicate with.We'll definitely be back.

This is our 2nd time to rent this house. We brought our 83 y/o parents and 2 teenagers with us. Plenty of room for all of us. It was so nice to be able to sit on the porch and if too cold, inside. By the windows. Everyone got to enjoy the view and the beach. This house has thoughtful touches throughout. Beach towels, trash bags, ziplocks, Febreeze in the bathrooms. It’s so easy to feel comfortable here. It’s clean and really bright and open. We will definitely be back. Thank you Peggy for allowing us to use this house again!

This house is a perfect location if you are looking for stunning ocean views. This older home has an old fashioned beach-cottage feel and has what I grew up in the south calling double or triple exposure in nearly every room. In other words, lots and lots of windows allowing for beautiful ocean views and an abundance of sunlight. Due to the angle of the house each of the three bedrooms have ocean views. Unusual and quite remarkable. Communication with the hosts was exceptional; responsive and accommodating. We brought our 95 year old friend to the house in order to give him a break from his retirement home living. Naturally we had lots of questions as we prepared for our trip and Peggy was quick with her helpful answers. The beach wagon, umbrella and chairs provided in the downstairs room were a lifesaver.Our only disappointment was that the home was not quite as pictured (on the website). The house looks like it could use a coat of paint and a little TLC in several areas. Decking is not in as good shape as pictured though both outside areas are absolutely wonderful places to enjoy the ocean's beauty. Overall I highly recommend this house. Spacious and livable and almost feels as if it's the only house on the beach.

Overall we enjoyed our weekend away. This location was great if you prefer quiet- we do. This home was super clean on the inside and had some very thoughtful items for guest use. I have food allergies so it’s nice to cook and have everything that you need to do so. We appreciated the guest access to beach towels and chairs and a beach umbrella. There was a canopy and a wagon though both need to be replaced because they are rusted and neither work well.The hose and shower downstairs were great to wash off the layer before going inside. The photos aren’t current, as it seems there has been lots of storm damage and quality has suffered, especially with the outside appearance. For the price we paid we expected higher quality for sure. Also, there are window air conditioners in all bedrooms and the main living area. Besides an eye sore all of us were disturbed sleeping with the noise going on and off of the units. Also there are huge bails of hay between the house and the beach on the right side and zero grass. We really didn’t care but if you plan to have some grass at the house to take your dog, plan to walk a bit. Overall, it is a great find if you can lock in a more reasonable price because of what it is currently.

We usually never stay in the same place twice, we like to try different houses and areas. We enjoyed our stay here so much that we came back for a second stay. Our first stay was two years ago, we had put dog, a 3 year old, and older family with us and it was the perfect spot. This time around was just as good for us, especially having a 3 month old added to the mix this time. Not sure you can possibly get any closer to the water, the house has everything you need, and location is cozy, quiet, and not too far from the hot spots by the sea wall. I cant recommend this place enough. A/Cs blow cold, beds are comfy, water gets hot, and I love the outside shower coming up from the beach to rinse off. There are stairs, so as long as you're prepared for that, its all good. The host was amazing both times and always so quick to respond to questions.

This property is just as it is advertised. Right on the beach and unobstructed views. We were looking for a location with little to no people on the beach and that is exactly what we got. We were able to enjoy quiet nights as well. If you are looking for a place with no traffic and perfect views this is it. We will return.

Wonderful location!

Loved the breeze on the deck. Steps to the beach! Owner had good communication and scrambled to make the place cool with window units, despite an unexpected power outage and issues with the AC system.

Excellent place to stay, right on the beach

This property has it all, and it's beautifully decorated. Love that its right on the beach and the deck space below the house is amazing. The porch /deck on the house was an amazing space too. Has a porch swing and deck chairs to just watch the waves. The best part is the inside of the house is the ocean views from all of the windows. Bedrooms and master has incredible views of the ocean too
