The best place to stay in Galveston. Perfect location and the ABSOLUTE BEST for kids! The condo was beautiful and spent most of the time on the patio with stunning sunsets and sunrise. Beach access was perfect and condo amenities are unmatched. I will be back for sure!!!
The lazy river was a huge hit

I am 78 years old and somewhat unsteady on my feet. There were no grab bars in bathroom area or shower area in the master. No shelf in master shower or commode room. No cookie sheets or serving bowls in kitchen but otherwise well stocked. If you go in September you cannot see sunrise on the balcony. Views somewhat obsructed of the beach area, BUT, the patio was amazing. Over all, the place was beautiful and well stocked with essentials and towels and bed linnens.

We had a great time at Diamond Beach. We loved the condo and the size of the outooor space. There was construction next door but the noise wasn't bad with the sound of the ocean in the background. Plus, watching the crane was pretty neat. The inside was very clean and spacious and there were a lot of essentials provided. The only thing missing was sheet pans so we had to go buy our own. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and the owner was very friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful time! The condo was very clean and provided everything we needed. We loved the large balcony; and it was especially safe with small children. As always, the river and the pool provided much relaxation and fun.Maria is a super nice and helpful host. We're looking forward to our next visit!!

Beautiful unit

This is our second stay at this unit, and Maria is a gracious host, always checking in with us via the VRBO app and making sure everything is going well. This unit has had the most amazing hall bath upgrade- the new shower is luxurious and improved the experience so much, because getting in and out of the original deep tub that most of these units have was very difficult, so we loved the new shower improvement. The diamond beach resort amenities are luxurious and delightful- lazy river and easy beach access are the best. The view is spectacular, and we would stay here again.

Great visit

We had a great time on our visit! The unit was great for our group of 2 families with small kids. Our only hesitatation when booking was beach access. I'm glad to share that it was a very easy walk with a clear path. Our kids also really loved the lazy river!

Excellent host for this condo! The condo was neat & clean. Well stocked. Great view from a very large balcony. Several pools to pick from. And there’s an amazing coffee shop right across the street. We look forward to staying here again!

Another Great Sat At Diamond Beach!

Very beautiful condo with beautiful furnishings. We enjoyed our stay. The condo has a large outdoor patio it is over the roof of the gym so you are not able to see the pool or lazy river below. I knew this when I reserved it. I only mention it because I was a little unsure how it was going to be, but it is a great patio and there are great views of the ocean and beach. It felt more private and we very much enjoyed the outside space. The only issues we had were that we are used to having more bath towels and wash clothes available we had to wash towels frequently and the dryer wasn't working but they were in the process of servicing the dryer when we left. Every bedroom and the livingroom had TV's but we were not able to stream as the apps we not availble on the TV's- that was a little inconvenient but we reserved the theater room every night. Overall it is a very nice condo with comfy beds and we enjoyed our stay. The host was very sweet and responsive. Diamond Beach is a great place to stay and there is so much to do without having to leave - we love the lazy river and theater room the most. We enjoyed the bar at the pool as well!

Amazing Condo

The facility is gorgeous and the staff is five star. The ownership was reponsice and made our stay an outstanding experience. I would recommend this property to anyone especially those with high expectations.

Room was great, property not so much

First off, the room was as advertised, no complaints at all about the room. However the resort itself was underwhelming. The bar inside the resort and pool area were completely closed, no heads up was given. Gym, game room, hallways....I mean every thing in that resort was set to 73 degrees. Pool and lazy river were clean and no complaints there.

Lovely Condo but near construction zone

Condo is lovely. Spacious, clean and the walk in showers were great. Kitchen is well stocked and laid out nicely. Plenty of coffee filters for you coffee drinkers. Host has shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in each shower as well as hand soap at each sink which was very nice. Hair dryers are also available. Sheets are a poly blend-if you like cotton, then you’ll understand. Galveston was a nice area. With lots of things to do. Location was good. Close to everything but far enough away to be out of the commotion and tourist activities. A new building is being constructed right next door to Diamond Condos. When we stayed there was a 100’ auger/drill being used and a lot of diesel equipment. This is right outside the condo patio. If you enjoy watching these types of projects then You have a Birds Eye view. But for us, It was loud and stinky so we really weren’t able to enjoy the patio or hear the ocean except at night. Workers there early until sunset. Beeping construction noises and motors highly present. This also impacts the lazy river as it is overall noisy at that end of the property. For this reason, we would have preferred to stay somewhere else. It is a large multi story building being constructed so I would expect this project to take several months if not a year. It wasn’t disclosed and we didn’t ask about construction nearby so shame on us. If there wasn’t any construction then this would be a great location.

Fantastic Stay – Beautiful Condo & Thoughtful Amenities!

Our family of six (three adults, three children, including a baby) had a wonderful two week stay at this condo in Galveston. Communication with the owner was impeccable, making the booking and check-in process seamless. The condo itself was beautifully decorated, filled with thoughtful anecdotes, and stocked with extras that are often missing in other rentals—such as additional trash bags and dishwasher detergent. We especially loved the abundance of books, DVDs, and games, which made our stay even more enjoyable for both kids and adults. The checkout process was just as smooth, making our departure stress-free. We truly appreciated the attention to detail and the welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely stay here again!

Perfect Getaway

Great Condo with Beautiful View!

Do note that there is an outcropping blocking a direct-down view of the beach (the fitness center and inside pool are under the condo) and that, although this is the largest balcony at Diamond Beach, the 7th floor is the highest floor. The condo is spacious and the décor beautiful! We only wished for better pans to cook in (very scratched) and one more pair of tongs...everything was amazing! Even real Kleenex provided in each room. Icemaker worked (uncommon in rentals) and condo was quiet and in an excellent location on the property. Loved the underground parking! You will have to drive to go to restaurants and bars, but not far (try Cooper's Landing just west of Diamond Beach). Beds were comfortable and TV's were awesome (as was the internet)!

Perfect Galveston weekend getaway

Perfect place for us to bring the kids and family for the weekend. Our 3 year old boy was entertained the whole time with the lazy river, play room, and arcade. The amenities are worth it, rather than getting a beach house down the street of which we have done before. The lazy river is nice and our son absolutely enjoyed the easy access to the beach and sand. This condo was very clean and peaceful. Lots of space and beautiful view of the beach on the balcony. We highly recommend and will definitely be back again.

Fantastic location excellent host

This was an impromptu change of plans are normal family vacation takes place in Florida but with hurricanes coming through we had to make some last minute adjustments and decided to come to Galveston. We were very happy with the process communication from the host and the accommodations. Place was immaculate plenty of utensils on site plenty of cups plates silverware all that good stuff and whenever we did have a question or a concern The host responded immediately and took care of all the details promptly. Without a doubt when we return we will stay here again. Thanks for taking such good care of me and my family

We have been vacationing in this property for about 10 years. It has never disappointed! Wonderful views, great decor, impeccable cleanliness, a breeze at check-in and check-out! Loved our stay!

We loved our stay at Diamond Beach. The condo was very nice and just as listing showed. Very clean and comfortable. The balcony is huge, and we loved spending mornings and evenings there. The Lazy River was where we spent most of our time and is so relaxing. We would definitely stay at Maria's condo again. It is perfect for a group of adults with the way the bedrooms are set up.

Galveston trip

Spent a wonderful 5 day vacation at the diamond beach condo. The owner of the property was incredibly nice, we did not have any need to reach her however I have no doubt she is very accessible. The property is clean, the amenities well maintained. The beach is quite pricate, the pool and lazy river engertained my kids for hours per day. Highly recommend!
