The kitchen is very minimal and not enough supplies for cooking or serving.The bottom room was needed but it has a horrible smell that's like mold that was attempted to be cleaned. It was unusable as well as the outside toilet. We had to check out prematurely because of the issues with the house.

Like the house, pool and location with having rented a golf cart. Was surprised by the downstairs bedroom, smelled of mold..only used 1 night..supplies were not as listed. The pool was great after the beach. Probably not rent again unless downstairs bedroom was cleared of mold. Property management were great communicators. Little things were broken when we got there, but overall it was family that made the trip

Overall it’s a beautiful property. However, the bedrooms are deceiving. They’re not all together and one bedroom is downstairs without a bathroom. Definitely not ideal for families or traveling with small children because you’re going to be separated. The closest bathroom is an outdoor bathroom where we saw mice so that wasn’t comforting. I imagine the mice are there because the trash in the trashcan was so piled up, even before we got there. You’re about 30 minutes outside of the main beach area of Galveston, which was actually nice. It’s very peaceful and the pool was the perfect touch. Make sure you bring cooking stuff like salt, proper, oils, the basics because the only things there is pots and pans that have been well loved. It was 7/10 clean with some mildew in the bathrooms. Overall it was okay. I’m not sure we would stay there again though for how much we paid.

The house is cozy and has beautiful views. It's also close to beach access. The pool is nice and probably the best part of the whole stay. I was slightly disappointed in how little the kitchen had stocked. We had to buy all the cleaning supplies, soaps, and trash bags we needed for our stay. This wouldn't stop me from renting again, it was just slightly inconvenient.

This was the perfect property for my family and our two dogs. We had a fantastic time. Really, the pool was the best--We spent the majority of our time there. The house was very clean and neat and well taken care of. The area was terrific, very quiet neighborhood. We drove to the beach daily, it was not crowded at all. You could walk, it is probably a 15 minute walk.We drove into Galveston almost daily to grab something to eat, it is about 20-25 minutes but it's a nice easy drive with great views of the ocean the entire way. There is a great pick-up pizza place(Mario's) about five minutes away and plenty of market's nearby to get quick supplies.Overall, we could not have asked for a better place to stay. If you are looking for a place with a resort-style pool, this is the house for you, it was amazing.

The pool are and decks were perfect for family to enjoy. We enjoyed the wildlife in the area. I was a little put off because both garbage cans were full when we arrived so there was no place to put our garbage when we left. A list of what you would like us to do before checkout would have been helpful. I wasn’t sure if we needed to was the towels we used or not. What temp to leave the house on, etc. I would have like a single cup coffee maker instead of the big pot. A few more cleaning products and a dustpan would have been nice so we could have done a better job cleaning before we left. Those are just suggestions. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit! I would definitely rent this house again!

Peaceful but fun family gathering

Our family enjoyed this house a great deal, it was spacious enough for our group with several options for where to sleep, relax, and visit with each other. We really enjoyed the pool and the deck, if you like bird watching, this location is exceptional! We enjoy a quieter and more relaxed venue, so it was ideal for us, but if you are seeking to be close to many restaurants and night life you are looking at a 30 min drive/uber to get there. We used the beach access directly across Seawall and it was close and easily accessible although I would suggest driving and not walking even though its close! We would absolutely stay here again.

Wonderful but not equipped

We loved the location, comfort, and look of this property. We didn’t notice many properties with pools and this was our favorite feature. The house felt clean but still needs attention to things like the fans, vents, and definitely the pool (it needs to be shocked and brushed to get the algae off) The other things that are surprising for a place with this price tag is one ply toilet paper- had I known this we would have brought our own- no pot holders in the kitchen, one kitchen towel supplied, only half the measuring cups, broken cutting board, etc. Also, since it’s so close to the beach we suggest some beach chairs or something. If the above changes, it’s easily a 5 star property.

A/C did not cooperate

The A/C thermostat keeps jumping up to 82 degrees each day in the middle of the day. It’s hard to operate also. The big fan in the den spins the wrong way and no one helped me to figure out how to get that corrected. Someone called me and told me to send pictures of the fan to him. I sent them and he never responded. Two of the three lights above the mirror in the main bathroom and the one over the shower/tub is out also. Usually there is a book of instructions for the house when you arrive but there wasn’t one

Nice house

The house was very clean and comfortable. At check in we noticed the door knob was broken so we called the customer service number given to us to notify them. The representative was hard to understand and we were told someone would be there to fix it but that never happened. When my kids went into the pool they found glass in it!! Lastly, the listing stated there was cable available but that was not true. We couldn’t even access local channels so I’m glad my son had his laptop with him.

Relaxation in Galveston

This was a quick family vacation for my family and i. We booked the house for 2 nights only and it was everything we needed. We enjoyed the pool during the day when the weather permitted. (there were thunderstorms in the forecast) Once you leave the main subdivision there are plenty of public beach access which we used. Downtown was a short drive away. The only downside was we didn't stay longer. I do recommend to bring disposable plates and spoons if you're planning to use the bbq pit or eat there. We didn't want to use the plates/glasses in the cupboards. They do have a dishwasher though.

Nice house, some issues

First, this house is nice and fine. We enjoyed the location and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The pool area was very nice. Unfortunately, someone did not communicate that we had arranged for the heated pool, so we were told that was on, but by the morning of the second day, it was clear neither the pool nor the hot tub was being heated. We texted with Vacasa and they tried to help, but didn’t tell us that the heater goes off at night and through most of the next day based on a timer system. So the morning of the 3rd day, hot tub was cold again. Then we were told about the timer. In truth, the pool never heated up. Not sure if that heater is even working. The hot tub heater got the hot tub to the mid 80’s and over 90 once. But it was mostly cool. Not worth the $75 daily fee that we were charged for sure. On check in, there are no instructions given as to how anything works or what any instructions are for discharge etc. the house itself was clean, but the dishes in the cupboard were dirty. The first cup we took down had some wet food stuff on the inside of it. Many of the other dishes had dried food on it. There was some moldy coffee in the cupboard. There was no shower gel in the bathroom dispenser. If these cleaning issues had been taken care of before we checked in, we wouldn’t have noticed it. I assume the cleaning service just failed the owner on this. If the pool issue and the cleanliness issue had been better, we’d give it a 5 star review
