Galveston vacation Julio 29-31 2024

El condo tiene vista a la alberca y al oceano, las 2 albercas son grandes y el hot tube muy agradable, el condo es pequeño, pero esta confortable para un par de dias, estaria mejor si tuviera estufa, lavadora y secadora adentro del condo, hay lavanderia, pero hay que pagar extra y esta super caliente para eatar ahi esperando que se lave la ropa.

Great getaway

Very close to the beach. Nice condo just as described close to many places. It was such a great escape with a wonderful view. I could get in touch with Vacasa if needed we really enjoyed the condo

Cozy with good view

Very clean, no sand anywhere inside condo. Plenty of towels and linens. Very courteous and kind staff. Great view of caps of water across street. Pools were clean and inviting.

Awesome Place, perfect location

I loved all this place had to offer, the closeness to the beach. Well equipped for our needs, plenty of space (there were 3 adults and 1 child). Great parking, pool, etc. My only feedback is the place is a little dated especially the bathroom/tub-shower. And I didn’t fully realize this place only has a hot plate vs stove when I booked so pay attention to that if you want an actual stove.

Overall the stay was nice. We had 4 kids and 2 adults so it was crowded. But I knew it would be, so no big deal. The only thing I would have wanted to see improvement on is the bathroom. The wall by the toilet looks to have mold on it and the shower is outdated. The balcony was nice and overlooked the pool. This is a first floor condo. Also, one of the pictures in the bedroom is basically taped on the wall instead of properly hung and kept falling down. Walmart is right next door so that was nice. The bed was so comfortable as well.

Not for me

The property is a bit out dated and could have been cleaner. The counters and beds were clean the floor had strands of hair and a little mold. Restroom was moldy and had baits by then end of the trip we killed some bugs. The apartment has a nice view of the ocean and close to food and activities. Starbucks is just a few minutes away. Was not all bad just not my taste I should have paid more attention to the small details in the description and photos.

Great amenities, location, and staff, but...

Really loved the location and amenities at this condo. Could be an amazing place but not very clean. Chose the place based on description and reviews and needed clean environment for medical reasons. This place needs a very thorough deep cleaning. Vents, cabinets, corners, crevices, tub, liner, etc... were dirty and mold filled. It was an allergy nightmare for us! I wanted to move to another place but 1 am arrival so after big debate with friends chose to complete the 2 night stay. It's really a great condo setup with plenty of beds and nice furnishings, so very disappointed it did not meet our cleanliness expectations. Wish this allowed for pics to be attached because I really am wondering how long ago the pics in the online photos were taken. It was surface clean as far as counters wiped off, etc... but grime and mold very visible and dirty. Staff was extremely helpful, especially security at 1 am, and lots of nice amenities: heated pool, hot tub, bistro, grills, tables, fish cleaning station, and near great shopping and restaurants. An older complex but taken care of. Would definitely stay at this complex again but in a different condo unit.

Cute Condo

I will highlight the condo first, and I have nothing negative to say about it! It was decorated simply and cute, there were enough dishes for our needs, and the heated pool was nice. I wish there would have been more beach towels, but we just got our boys to share after the pool and it was fine. There were plenty of bath towels as well! The boys loved the bunk beds in the hall, and the balcony boasted a nice view of the pool and of the gulf across the street. The only complaint I have is that the office, which our documents stated would be open for check in 24/7, was not open when we arrived in the wee hours of the morning. We tried for 30 minutes, between knocking and driving around, to get some assistance, since the office is where you receive your parking pass. There are signs stating that vehicles without a pass will be towed at owner's expense, but we had been driving for over 6 hours and had 4 kids we needed to get inside, so we finally just put a handwritten note in the dash explaining the situation, and we prayed we wouldn't be towed by morning! Luckily, my vehicle was still there the next day, and we were able to get checked in and receive our parking tag. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this condo to others, but I would suggest arriving during business hours, as the office was not open during the night.

Great Location

For this price this place is excellent. Great location, easy to access. Easy check in and check out. The unit is fully loaded. The grounds are very well maintained and have two nice pools. The beach is across the street, and there are tonnes of restaurants to check out. I would give it a higher rating but the unit is a bit outdated, and the master bed & couch could be more comfortable. I would stay ther again.

Condo is in a great spot. You just walk straight to the beach and it is conveniently located with plenty of places to go to for entertainment or necessities. The condo could use a lot of updating but the main issue is the rental company VACASA. The AC was out the first night and the rental agency said they would send someone to at least replace batteries in the thermostat. No one ever showed up. When I called back (after a very lengthy hold) I was told the representative would call me back. They never called and in fact I am still waiting on a call back. I had to call back the next day and they fixed the AC that morning. In the end I had to call 6 different times before the AC was resolved. They did credit me the first night stay but we incurred additional costs having to stay in a hotel the first night that we never received reimbursement for. Don't think I would stay at this location again but overall it wasn't bad

Broken A/C, stepped in glass, and dusty

Very disappointed! Broken A/C unit, my husband stepped on glass, and the place felt so dusty! We end up not staying for the night because maintenance was not able to come out for the night to fix the A/C since we have our two small children with us we had to go get a new place for the night. Then it took all day the next day to be told that they were sending the wrong request for maintenance to someone else and the A/C was not able to be fixed. Very disappointed on our experience as we were excited to experience the place and Galveston. And it's been a week now and I have not gotten my refund since we did not get to even stay at the condo as we planned to.

The Victorian in Galveston TX

I was skeptical at first due to prior experiences but I was pleasantly surprised our condo was very cute clean and well maintain. I was very impressed with the entire experience working with Vacasa and would highly recommend them. Not only was the condo cute and well maintained by our view of the gulf and overlooking the pool was fabulous. We would use them again.

Great view. Tidy, cozy condo with all the comforts. Bed was small but comfortable. Just enough room for the 2 adults and 2 kids. Nice pool and location as well. We'd definitely stay there again.

Too expensive for what is offered

When we got there, had to wait on maintenance to finish outlet problems. While waiting my son walked in on filthy restroom( sh** in toilet, pubic hairs in shower and bedsheets). No washer/dryer in unit, therefore we had to hang clothes/towels on balcony so they could dry. ( Officer/ security guy knocked on door hard to tell us we had to take the towels and clothes off balcony.)Cockroaches on balcony and in cabinets. Iron board was broken they had to go to Walmart to another. ( which was replaced with a mini iron board).It felt like we were staying in a 1 star hotel. Couch and beds were really uncomfortable. The only good thing about the place was the location. Too expensive for what they offered yet they still charge for parking lots. We were told we would get a discount and a coupon for next visit. Nothing was given back. Not worth it.

Nice Place

We had a great time and the condo was very nice. Very convenient just to walk across the street to the beach and then clean up at the pool on the way back. Easy parking, and close to everything.
