A very short, sandy path to the beach. You can’t get much closer. The house is surrounded by beautiful native grasses and yellow wildflowers. It is front row, with a fantastic, with a scenic view of the gulf from the balcony and the lower level seating area. The view is perfect! The balcony is covered, has a table with seating for six and four nice wooden chairs. The kitchen is well stocked, the bedrooms are nice, with good mattresses. We had an enjoyable stay and were happy with the location. I would rent this house again.

First off let me start , by saying how beautiful this house is and very modern inside. The beds are so comfortable, the space inside and outside on the porch is just perfect. You are directly on the beach. We will book this house over and over again. The experience we had from booking start to finish was amazing. This house is 10/10 we love it.

Awesome location

This place is awesome for a small family vacation, the location is great, right on the beach with a great view. The house has everything u need! 20 minute drive to the pier or aquarium.

Overall the place was nice and easy access to the beach. The balcony was really nice and great to sit and relax. No tv in the living room which was nice for the family to sit and visit. The only problems we had was the door was hard to unlock and lock when first got there. The door was off the glide which we fixed. The railing had a lot of loose post which we had to nail back so the 1-1/2 yr old would fall through them. Other then all that the place was enjoyable and would stay there again

Nice overall BUT…

The only negative thing I have to say about the house was the odor, when first entering the house there was a strong stuffy odor. I’m not sure how to explain it, but just very thick almost like a dusty old odor has been shut in the house with no air circulation. Everything else was great! location was beautiful one of the closest houses to the beach, beautiful home. The dishwasher did leak, but when we let them know someone came quick and said they’d get it replaced and I decided to let them do that when we left since we had one day left of vacation

Great Escape

Stay here was fantastic. Only hiccup was upon arrival the lockbox containing the keys did not open. We had to call the property management company for assistance. They were extremely helpful and gave us the code to the second box which worked. That process took about 10 minutes and we were in! So, not really an ordeal at all. The house was exactly as advertised. Maybe a little smaller than it appeared in the pictures but it was great. The deck is awesome and we spent a lot of time out there for meals, etc. It was cool enough to leave the sliding glass doors open at night in the living area and two bed rooms that have deck access. Made for a wonderful nights sleep with the sounds of the gulf and cool breeze coming through. Cannot recommend this place enough. We will be back!

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION THANKSGIVING

Coastal Winds was a delight. Family had a fun time on the beach. Views were awesome and much fun was had by everyone. Lived on island time for a week and enjoyed every minute. Weather was beautiful to socked in foggy but it did not matter. There were coffee makers everywhere but no filters. Had to buy amenities that usually are found at a property .. Never got the TV to work but we did not need it. Most everything was really nice and we thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful beach house. thanks

Good...not great...but overall ok'ish.

We rented this property for 3 nights. There is no problem with checkin or checkout. I never communicated with the property managers, so cant comment on that... So look... It was beachfront. It was west end of the island. 15 minutes to seawall activities. No.problems there. The size of the house is fine for 4 people...we were not cramped at all. The house is half updated and could use a real cleaning. Cabinets were sticky. Appliances, both large and small were old and some dont work....like the coffee maker. The shower in the master only has a half door, so water goes kinda everywhere in the bathroom when shower. But towels were plentiful, so easily managed. There is NO GRILL. Make a note of this because its a major issue in my opinion. Just a simple weber drum would suffice...but not to be found. Who doesn't grill when on the beach? Seriously...terrible oversight. So for a couple of days, its fine. The price is a little too much for what you get, but the beachfront is worth something in there. We made the best of it and thats what's important. You can have a good time here, just buyer beware and know what you're getting going in...

Girls trip

The property was exactly as pictured - in fact, it was even better :-) It was clean, well appointed, and in an wonderful location. The property manager checked in on us upon arrival to make sure everything was clean and in order and had the house equipped with everything we could want for a peaceful getaway. We will definitely be back!

Sea Isle House

Loved the property. It had a well stocked kitchen so I was able to prepare nice meals without bringing all my own kitchen gear. Great location, wonderful view and very relaxing.

Poor communication with Turnkey Vacation Rentals

I finally talked to someone today. I had to initiate the call. The rep was hostile to my comments (defending housekeeping service and their pictures!!) about the issues I wanted to address. I also sent her pictures: moldy ice dispenser, alarm in master bedroom missing (only base and wires), noisy ceiling fan in bedroom. chair that broke when my son-in-law sat on it (TG he was speared by the broken leg), a couple of other chairs were wobbly, an exposed metal bracket on the chaise that could have hurt someone, several splotchy walls (stains, etc.), moldy / grimy vents, flimsy paper products. I'll be glad to share pictures. I've rented upscale (Cedar Ridge-Meeks Bay, managed by Tahoe Luxury Properties). Coastal Winds is lacking in that area. If you check your records, you'll see that we've always been good guests and gotten good ratings. Brian Ford / Peggy A Garcia

Great location

Super close to the beach. Clean. Comfy beds Minimal supplies if you are wanting spices or anything to cook , even cooking spray, you will need to bring your own but other than that great place !
