Perfect location

Beautiful house!!!! We love staying at this location it’s a perfect location access to everywhere, we have a minor issue with the house but the owner responded quick overall we will come back to this house 🤗

Host was great. A couple things need repair and towel bars in the bathrooms would be a great addition. Nice kitchen with plenty of dishes. The kids were disappointed the pool was not heated so they could swim.

House is much larger than it appears, lots of space for a family gathering. There is no kitchen table and though the island has stools there were not enough for us to enjoy a game night. Patio lights shine into the bedrooms, never found light switch to turn off the big patio light. Ended up buying cheap paper blinds to block light.Floors need better cleaning, my toddler grandchildren's feet were black after running around barefoot soon after they arrived. All in all we had a great time.

Cleanliness was a huge problem. Floor was very dirty when we got there..Took a shower and my feet were filthy after 15 minutes of walking around on the day we got there. Found dead & live roaches. Thr shower curtain was held up by 3 rings, so everything got wet. The 2nd bathroom floor, was cracked and broken and presented a hazard because it was warped and sticking up. No throw blankets or rugs like the pic shows. It is a cute house and the pool made staying worth it for the gkids.

The house was nice. A few minor scuffs, standing water in the bathtub, and a shower curtain with only 3 hooks is my only complaint. The back yard is smaller than it appears. Or more of the layout. The pool was great and beds were comfy. The house stays nice and cool at 72 degrees. We mainly slept and ate breakfast there. The Kitchen is equipped with all the utinsils you need to cook. The driveway is pretty small so have to maneuver your cars in there if you have 4 and don't wanna park on the street. Its a corner house in a neighborhood so its pretty private and no disturbances. Great place to stay with family if you have kids. They can all pile in the game room. 3 King Beds was a plus. Overall a good stay. Would stay again if they fixed the tub drain.

House of horrors

Do NOT stay at this property. Upon arrival, we noticed that the outdoor trash cans were overflowing, and that the stove top was severely cracked. We contacted management to let them know of the situation. We were told that the trash would be picked up the next day(Monday). Monday came, and it wasn't picked up, so we contacted management again, with no response. Trash was finally picked up Thursday and they was no resolution about the stovetop. The house wreeks of mold. I'm assuming it's coming from the rotting floor in the bathroom, the mildewed cabinet under the kitchen sink, and the leaking mini splits/AC's in 3/5 rooms. There is no comfortable place to sit, because the living room furniture is falling apart, along with disgusting stains. There were cockroaches in and around the house. I was unfortunate enough to have one crawl over my arm as I was falling asleep. Along with the rotting floor in the bathroom, the bathtub barely drains. There are mystery stains all over the walls and ceilings. If you try and escape the horrors indoors, you're greeted by moldy and rotting seating outside. Please do not spend your money on this property. It is truly horrendous.

We enjoyed our stay in Galveston very much! The kids loved the game room! It was a huge hit! The house was clean & inviting. There were a few disappointments that could be addressed that would have made the stay even better. The pool was extremely cloudy & there was trash and cigarette butts around the fire pit.

The property was just fine for families with kids. Adequate room and good set up with comfortable beds. The pool was nice and just fine. The main issue with the house was the roaches. Yes, little and big. Mainly active at night and in the morning. That pretty much ruined the property. Also the barbeque grill had a hole the size of a softball in the bottom. The outdoor furniture was in poor shape. And sitting at the fire pit you had to watch out for ants. I could have overlooked most of the issues ( it is a beach house rental ) but live roaches are disgusting. Pick 3 days with no scheduled rentals, set off several bug bombs, and get rid of the infestation. I gave it 3 stars but really more like a 2.5 at best. Also dealing with vrbo is a bit problematic. A guest left a makeup bag in a bedroom vanity and apparently it can't be located. Can't fault them for that since it's our fault. But should be easier to have someone go look and verify.

Roach-Infested Nightmare – Avoid at All Costs

Our stay was absolutely disgusting. The place was infested with roaches — crawling on the floors, in the kitchen, and even inside our cooler bag. We had to throw out our food because they were getting into everything. It was filthy. The floors were so dirty, our socks turned black after about an hour of walking around.One of the bathrooms had severe water damage — the floor was so soft it felt rotted underneath.The back door was broken, the patio furniture was busted, and the cushions were torn and moldy. This place is clearly neglected and unsafe.I contacted the host immediately and even sent photos of everything. I had to follow up multiple times just to get a response. They showed little to no effort to resolve anything, and eventually just ghosted us completely. No accountability, no resolution.This place should not be listed for rent. It’s a health hazard, not a vacation home.
