Nice stay with some issues

The location was great, it had great beach access and was peaceful and quiet. The house was nice except there were some insect issues. There was a stain on on the master bedroom sheets. The pillows had a weird smell as well. Overall it's a nice place because of the great location and overall beauty of the community.

Good place to stay on the island

The property was as described. Great place if you're looking to get away from the crowds on the main island. Easy access to the beach. Definitely would stay here again

Nice property

The house is nice and it was clean. I liked that they had extra blankets and pillows available. It is located across a main road so you wouldn’t want to walk to beach. Also no instructions on how to lock front door when you leave..I had to call the 1-800 number for instructions. Over all It was a pleasant stay for me and my daughter.

Great spot for a getaway

We decided to take a quick trip to the beach as a family of 6 and were so happy that this house was available. The decor was modern and fun, the beds were clean and comfortable, and the kitchen had many useful supplies. The beach was a little farther than we had hoped, but it wasn’t a huge deal. We had a great time.

It was a nice home. The bbq wouldn’t light and we ran out of toilet paper and garbage bags for a 5 night stay and a family of 7. There were only one extra roll of toilet paper and 2 garbage bags. I would also say a bigger pan to cook in and maybe have some basic seasonings like salt and pepper. It was a great location and environment. We enjoyed our stay, thank you!

Great spot for our young family

We had a great Thanksgiving staying here with our one year old and five year old. We spent a lot of time playing on the deck and in the big yard, and we were a very short drive to beach access 34 where we had a great time playing in the sand as much as possible. I would have ranked it overall higher, but the oven didn’t seem to be able to get up to cooking temperature after a very long time; and it seemed as if someone in the past or perhaps the owners had smoked inside in the past and it had a slight musty/smokey smell inside. Though all things considered we had a great time and really enjoyed our time there.

Shortcomings slightly tarnished stay

Initial impressions were good when we checked in; however, upon closer inspection, the cleaning was less than professional. The coffee pot still had a pod inside as well as drips in the base. There was hair on the walls of the shower as well as on the floor of the dining area. The master bedroom mirror had greasy spots and streaks. The kitchen lights did not work with the remote-save the red ones over the range. And honestly, most egregious to us, there was only one partially used roll of toilet paper when we arrived. When that was gone, we searched for replacement, but found none. The house is comfortable and we had a good getaway, but these things are below expectation and guests will take note

Wonderful house

Everything about this house is perfect. The layout of home. The beds are comfy. The kitchen stocked for all your needs. Deck has covered and large uncovered space. We will be back.

Vacasa Home -Pelican Key- Disappointment

Unfortunately we were not impressed by this property. Several issues. When we arrived it was 80 degrees. I would say this property was owned by a chain smoker. Property seems very old and like someone just came in and tried to cover over the issue with new paint to give the appearance of looking better then it actually is. Bathroom shower pipe was even coming away from sheet rock showing a large hole, sheet rock patches in hall way, dirty a/c return vent looked like it had not been cleaned in months. After notify property management someone did come the next day while we were gone and changed it but then also left the front main door cracked and not locked when we returned. Main bedroom bedspread looked like it had blood stains on it. Also before we left we stripped the bed, no mattress pad at all. So anyone that sleeps there and sweats, it will go right through the sheets and into the mattress itself. That is just unsanitary! Dishwasher makes a horrible sound and does not even dissolve the dishwashing packets so we had to wash dishes by hand. The property is over priced for these issues. We will not be recommending this property.

Great fishing retreat

Ma and a couple family members got together to come take a fishing trip. Had a great weekend. The house was incredible every necessity u need it has. Really nice views love the furniture and setup I would highly recommend this house to everyone.
