Nicely appointed at a fantastic location! Everything is here but your groceries. The check in and check out process was the easiest of all the places we’ve stayed. The outdoor patio and deck are amazing and a great place to grill a steak and watch the game. Loved it!

The host here at Casa Frio is very responsive. Everything you need for a quiet getaway fishing trip is here. We very rarely even drive into Galveston. This is our go to spot for vacations at the coast.

This Sea Isle home was in a quiet area outside of the main Galveston seawall. Ideal location for a less buys vibe but only 20 minutes to all the area attractions. So many great restaurants to choose from! Beach access is just across the street with the bonus of being able to drive your car right out on the beach. The house was extremely clean and well equipped. The outside space was amazing with upper and lower patios and access to the canal. We had a couple questions for the owner and he was quick to respond each time. The only thing I would change would be to have beach supplies added to the amenities. We have used VRBO for 20 years and rentals in beach towns have always had chairs, coolers, and beach towels for guests. These were all things we had to purchase on arrival and couldn't take home on an airplane. Even knowing this, we would book again. 10/10!

This was our 5 th or 6th time to stay at Casa Frio. We always have a good experience, everything is clean and in order for our stay. Check-in is easy. Parking, security, fencing are all good. We bring our dog with us so secure fencing is very important.We come for the redfish run, but this year the fishing was not good. The pier is nice, but just no redfish! We will try again next year. We dined at Katie's by the cruise terminal. We have had good experiences in the past, but quality seems to have dropped a bit. Also went to Stingarees on Bolivar. Pretty good food and a nice drive. Glad to see a fishing pier is being built at the old Rollover Pass site. Hope it will be completed by the time we come back in 2026.

This was our best trip yet to Galveston / Sea Isle. Best fishing trip ever. We stayed 5 nights and caught at least 25 fish, which was a record for us. We caught Red Drum, Black Drum, Croaker, Catfish and Pin Fish from Lee's pier. The big Sea Isle fishing pier was fun, but those fish were smart and stole all of our bait. Lee was so quick to respond to any questions we had. The kitchen was very well stocked with anything we needed. The house was so clean and cozy, but we mainly stayed outside and enjoyed the breeze down stairs fishing and visiting in the porch swings. Our Yorkie had a blast chasing the birds and laying on the cool concrete porch. I was so happy with this trip that I cried and thanked my husband for the best birthday week ever. Thank you Mr. Lee for one of the very best vacations and birthdays that I have ever had! We hated to have to leave, but we had to get back to work and the daily grind. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to chill and have a great time!Thank you so much Lee for sharing your wonderful place with us.

We loved our stay. House was exactly as described and very comfortable. Fenced yard was awesome for the dogs. Wonderful outside sitting areas up on the balcony as well as below the house with multiple swings to relax in while visiting with family & friends around the fire-pit . Neighborhood boat ramp and lift at the house provided easy access to the bay from the canal. Westend Marina is right around the corner for bite to eat and a drink. Don’t forget to grab some live bait from the bait shop while there to fish the green lights at night . House is well stocked with all the toiletries and kitchen(trash bags, coffee, etc.) items one needs . Owner was always quick to respond and a pleasure to deal with. Look forward to staying again

We had a great time as a family! The house was very clean and well stocked. We had an issue with the A/C when we checked in but Lee answered right away and had someone there in less than an hour to fix it. We loved the location, my husband and sons caught a lot of fish right off the dock, day and night. It was also an easy 3 minute drive to the beach. We loved everything about this canal home and will definitely be back!

Our stay was great! Communication with the host was great! Perfect house for 4 people.We had 6 for 2 of the nights. It’s tough not having a bathroom downstairs, but we made it work, Love this house! Would definitely stay again.

Family time

Fun times. Everything was clean and accessible. Not so much if ur disabled with restroom upstairs. But would recommend , and have. Wish fish were bitting more in the canal. But was less than 20 minutes to the pier so we could fish there.
