Fantastic view from top floor condo overlooking West Bay in Pointe West

  • Bayview Vista is located in Pointe West a community on the west end of Galveston Island. This top floor bay side condo is 1450 sq ft and has spectacular views of the bay and the beach. The quiet side of the island is known for relaxation and tranquility. The unit is part of Pointe West which is a premier community offering abundant amenities. There are miles of walking, bike and golf cart trails that connect the resort from beach to bay. The bay side offers spectacular sunsets, a lazy river pool that meanders through an array of palm trees, a hot tub, grills and more. The beach club features an infinity pool with spa, fitness center, restaurant/bar, gift shop and kids activity room. Pointe West is located 20 minutes away from the crowds of the island. The drive is manageable to visit Schlitterbahn Water park, Moody Gardens, The Amusement Pier, The Strand, Golf, etc. for additional activity.

    3 Bedroom 2 bath condo is on the top floor with awesome views of the bay and the beach. The master bedroom has a king size bed, 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed, and the 3rd bedroom has two single beds. A full size washer and dryer is in the unit. The kitchen is equipped with all appliances, there is large flat screen televisions in the living room and all bedrooms that have cable and NetFlix. The unit is wired with high speed free internet access. Stocked with paper products, condiments and toiletries the condo is set for your vacation. The patio is large and great for gathering to eat, relax and enjoying the most amazing sunsets in Texas.

    WRISTBAND POLICY
    The Property Owners Association (POA) at Pointe West collects a wristband fee of $25 per guest for each guest over the age of 4 (children younger than 4 do not pay) for use of the Beach Club and Sunset Pools during your stay at Pointe West. This is a onetime fee during your stay, not a daily fee. No wristbands are required to enjoy the beautiful beaches at Pointe West this fee is only for use of pools, fitness center, and other amenities. A reservation has been made in your name for your rental period at Pointe West. The wristbands are available at the Beach Club reception every day during business hours (9-5 off season, 9-6 peak season). The physical address for the Beach Club is 4161 Pointe West Drive, Galveston, TX. 77554. You do not have to purchase a wristband to enjoy the restaurant/bar at Pointe West. Your reservation will allow you to receive a temporary band to enjoy this business amenity.

    PLEASE NOTE: RESTAURANT IS CLOSED ON MONDAY'S DURING THE SPRING/SUMMER TO RESTOCK AND CLEAN
    AFTER LABOR DAY UNTIL OCTOBER 30, RESTAURANT IS CLOSED ON MONDAY AND TUESDAY

    THE RESTAURANT AND GIFT SHOP ARE CLOSED FROM NOVEMBER 1-MARCH 1 EVERY YEAR
    FITNESS CENTER, GAME ROOM AND POOLS ARE OPEN YEAR ROUND

    THE SUNSET POOL ON THE BAYSIDE OF POINTE WEST IS HEATED FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT YEAR-ROUND. THE BEACH CLUB POOL IS NOT HEATED AS IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO KEEP AN INFINITY POOL WARM. BOTH POOLS HAVE LARGE HOT TUBS FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT.

Fantastic condo

If your looking for a very nice place to stay this is it. Nicely decorated, comfy beds, great view of the bay on the large deck. Great complex with two pools we have stayed at it before and we will be back again.

Great location

We love staying at MaryAlice & Linda’s properties. They are clean and comfortable! It’s very easy to access the beach and the Pointe West pools.

Excellent Property

It was spotlessly clean with nice views. An elevator and a great a/c. King bed was very comfortable and the shower was GREAT. We ate breakfast on one larger balcony and had cocktails on the small intimate owner bedroom balcony. Covered parking a plus. Will definitely stay again the next time we are in town.

Awesome View!

Very much enjoyed the Bay view. Condo was very clean and a well stocked kitchen. The TV in the living room was difficult to figure out and we could not get regular TV, but we could in the master bedroom. Very nice stay!

Love Pointe West

If your looking for the quieter part of the island pointe west is your place. It's conveniently located in the middle of Jamacia Beach and Freemont. The beach club is awesome. The condo was clean and cozy! Easily accommodated 5 of us. Price was great and the accommodations exceeded our expectations! Will stay again!

Spring Break Getaway

The property is in a beautiful location in Pointe West. The communication and response from the owners were excellent and any issues were addressed immediately. The condo was clean and the views of the bay were beautiful. We would 100% recommend this property.

Great time !

Wonderful family time vacation. Beach was clean and best of all we didn’t have to worry about vehicles driving around us with our small children playing Both pools were good for small children. It was a bit crowded on the weekend but we expected that. Make sure to bring groceries if you stay thru the weekend, restaurant closes early on Sunday. We found out after wanting to go back since our first meal was very good.

Great stay!

We had a girls trip vacation at this property last week and thoroughly enjoyed it. Linda and Mary Alice were totally on point with any of our needs- the property was clean and comfortable- beds were great, and couches were big enough for the 5 of us to sit in comfortably for our traditional scary movie night at the beach! One thing I will say is that if you are looking to do a lot of cooking, you might bring special pans or utensils, otherwise- it was a great property.

Bayside was great but this year the mosquitoes were horrific. I’m guessing all the rain this year contributed to them. Other than that we had a great time and will return again.

Very nice condo.

Very clean and well taken care of. Owner left “essentials” such as coffee, shampoo, zip lock bags, extra trash bags, dishwasher and washer soap which was very helpful. Only downside was having to drive to get to the beach, but it was just across the street.

Clean Condo with Great View of the Bay

The condo was ready for early checkin and everything was clean and tidy. We met the property manager who was very gracious and the condo was stocked with plenty of paper towels, tp, trash bags, soap, etc. We needed some table salt and she had some for us. 🙂 Although the pools are not within walking distance, they’re a short drive and the peaceful environment surrounding the property is a good trade off. The bay view is beautiful. We would stay there again.

Perfect

This location is a short drive from the hustle and bustle of the “beach” scene of Galveston, chain restaurants, entertainment etc. but If you don’t want all the traffic and people around, this is the location to book. The beach and the club was not crowded and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and cozy. The condo was surprisingly spacious and our group was able to spend time together in the living room and dining table and we all had the space to be alone in our rooms. The hosts were responsive and pleasant. More importantly, we were able to check-in early 😊. 10/10 would definitely come back.

Great birding spot

For long term visitors more towel holders/hooks would be great. The micro wave broke while we were there, but a replacment was installed in 36 hours. The elevator was broken often.😵

The condo was beautiful. Very clean and well stocked. Owners were quick to respond to questions. The only let down for us was not a reflection of the condo owners, but more Pointe West in general. The lazy river pool is either broken, or no longer a lazy river pool. We have been staying at Pointe West for the last 6 years, and our kiddos always loved the lazy river pool. The year before it was down to one weak jet, and this year there was none. On the plus side they have replaced the grass with astroturf which has solved the pesky ant issues. Overall we had a wonderful time, and will certainly be back. Please note that the con I mentioned is by no means a reflection of the condo owners. It is the reponsibility of the resort.
