Beach House

Great house. The key pad lock was tricky and had to try 2 to 3 times each time to make it lock or unlock. The key to the pool was missing so we weren't able to access the pool. Close to the beach, clean and comfortable. It was a nice vacation.

Cute Home, Needs a little Attention to Detail

Overall excellent scenery and location The home is in a great neighborhood with quiet friendly neighbors and a quick trip to the beach. The fenced yard is a great plus for pups. However, if you have smaller pups, the top deck on the front (the street side) has a few spots in the railing with missing and loose boards that make it VERY dangerous for a small dog. Also a few boards on the deck itself were popping up in places, making it a safety concern for tripping/falling. The guest bedroom floor had large wads of pet hair in places. The master shower had hair in the sliding door railing and on baseboards and corners. The thing is this property provided no cleaning supplies for kitchen or bath to touch up during your stay, only dish soap, a couple of pods for washing clothes, and not enough trash bags. So be prepared to get your own cleaning supplies. You may want to bring your own toilet paper as well. It is the cheapest toilet paper on the planet…only one extra roll to be found between two bathrooms! The kitchen had utensils and pots and pans , blenders , Keurig etc. No seasonings, sugar, creamer for coffee were provided. You are on your own there once again. The master bathroom is tiny, you may end up using the guest bath just to have room for your toiletries and such. Just some very noticeable issues that can be easily corrected with just a little attention to detail. All in all it was a good stay.

Relaxing Stay

We stayed with our two dogs and we all had a relaxing weekend vacation.The property was great! Clean, close to the beach, lots of cooking items available, updated amenities, fridge with an ice maker. Nice balconies on both the front and back for soaking in the sun on either side. Only a few things to know and/or for the owners to improve: If coming with dogs, there is a a decent size hole in the fence that a medium size dog could fit through so we could not have full peace of mind with having our dogs free in the fenced in yard without constantly watching them every second. No pepper or salt, so make sure to pack them if planning to cook. We could not find any extra blankets that we could use if on the couch or playing games at the table, just had a single comforter per each bed. The property is located at least 30 minutes from Galveston in case you plan to spend alot of time there. This place is great is you want to soak in the beach across the street and enjoy quality time with those you are traveling with. Overall, we would stay here again.

Great Beach House

We throughly enjoyed our stay! The house was in a great location! We will definitely be back! House has plenty of pots, pans, cooking utensils. House cools very nicely, beds were comfortable. Only one issue, couldn’t find the light switches for the outdoor lights, other than that, excellent vacation getaway!

Loved the location, comfortable beds, grill available, decor. The towel rack in the main bathroom falls off easily. The inside shower door in master bath falls off track when u try and use it. The 4th step on back deck is loose. The shower caddy in master bath is all rusted. Other than that we had a very comfortable relaxing stay in this home. Loved how close to the beach it is. Thank you for providing a beautiful home for our family vacation.

Galveston Getaway

What a beautiful home! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we were so comfortable hanging out and cooking our meals in the beautiful kitchen. Daily walks on the beach across from the subdivision was great asset. It’s a gem of a rental home!

Great stay!

Loved the location of this property. Close to the beach but far enough away from the crowds of the sea wall. House was decorated well, ample kitchen utensils and linens. Loved that it was fenced in for our fur baby. We really enjoyed playing ping pong and corn hole. Good, quiet neighborhood too. We certainly hope to return!

House was precisely as illustrated in the pictures. Very clean! Check in process was easy. House is a short walk to the beach and the marina. Love the fenced in yard for our dog. Great experience overall and we will stay here again!!
