Sweet weekend away

We stayed here only a couple nights bit it was a great place to stay with a family . Especially with little and haveing access to the beach and pools!

Great stay. Loved the balcony

On the 6th floor. Wonderful place to stay. The outdoor areas and beach entrance were nice. They even had sand toys for the kids. All of the mattresses are memory foam.

Diamond Beach

The room was awesome and super clean! The shower was unbelievable it was huge and had the rainfall shower head and the bed was comfy and had tv in the master bedroom the other room had two bunk beds and a trendle bed with no tv..had a regular kitchen area with everything except coffee. Had a coffee pot but no coffee.. we had a balcony with beach view only thing that sucked was having to walk a little bit to beach area..They had lots of things to do with a game room several pools outside and an indoor pool and a lazy river with tubes to float in they also have a gym and a media room and a place for kids to play and also a spa… overall I would give it five stars and highly recommend this place!!!

Can't wait to go back!

We truly can't wait to go back to this property. We were looking for a new place to stay in Galveston (been going to the same spot for over 10 years) and Diamond Beach didn't disappoint. Thank you for a great stay!

Vacasa communication disappointing.

The condo itself is mostly fine. I will note there is no wifi in this unit so no Netflix or anything like that if that if something you are looking for (you can rent the movie theater though to watch a movie when available). Great view of the beach. Close to the elevator which is convenient. We have stayed at Diamond Beach several times in different condos and I would recommended finding a different one not managed by Vacasa. The communication both before and during our stay was terrible. One example, I sent a message a few hours after check in inquiring about the wifi and didn't get a response until our last day. VRBO was not much better though when I reached out to them prior to our stay regarding an issue with Vacasa - contacted their customer service 4 days before our stay and followed up daily every time just being told to wait for their response, didn't get a response until an hour before our check OUT basically just saying "so you don't need us anymore right?" Go to another site and find a condo. All our other stays have been great with me in condo amenities (wifi, games for the kids, thoughtful touches by hosts that actually communicated and cared, etc.).

I wouldn’t if I were you.

I never give negative reviews, y’all. But this property was a total disappointment. If it weren’t for the view, the comfortable beds, and the resort itself we would’ve left. The negatives are below. I try to put myself in other people’s shoes in every situation. But I truly believe that we were taken advantage of. The front TV wouldn’t work. It wasn’t ever fixed. There were 5 remotes! No hot water. One of the sliding doors to the master was off track. There were no area lamps. Just all overhead lighting. No WiFi password. Condo layout was bizarre. No welcome or guidelines to using the property. Including checkout process. No small tables on the balcony or the 2nd room. Please check to see if things have been taken care of before you commit.
