Sweet 16 Beach Bash

The stay was incredible. The house was really clean and so cute. The shower downstairs was really convenient after a fun day at the beach. Access to the pool was convenient and a great way to end the day. We loved how she had plenty of board games we could play. All in all 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great little house

The house had everything we needed and more. Perfect location-street is alittle busy but no worries. Just a few minutes walk from the beach! Toni is a great host & was always quick to respond to any questions. We definitely plan to stay here again.

Absolutely TOP NOTCH!!!

We were looking for a quick vacation for the kids before school starts. We landed on Galveston given the ease of travel from Dallas/McKinney. We searched through tons of properties, both privately-owned and resort-style, and stumbled across this little place. Plenty big enought for 5 of us, with room for a 6th easily. The home was extremely clean and well maintained, newer appliances, comfortable beds, and we could go on and on.... Accommodations overall were about a 12 out of 10 given how much thought clearly went into everything the owners supplied for an excellent experience! Now for the location... The main part if the island off the Sea Board is EXTREMELY busy and chaotic. 4 lanes of busy traffic you have to play frogger to cross, not to mention carrying beach items and kids. Thankfully we were skeptical, and decided to look further down the coast line. This house is completely away from all the stress, with direct beach access to a great spot not overrun with people. Also, the marina is literally right around the corner, with excellent food, live music, drinks, market, and a bait shop. Another huge bonus, a somewhat private pier for fishing! The home comes with a key card, and you can simply waltz out with the kids to fish...many times of which we were the only ones in the pier. And yes we caughts lots of fish, one of which was large enough to snap a 20lb test line (thinking huge redfish). Needless to say, we absolutely hope to book this property again!!

Quick and fun Galveston Get Away

The property is well appointed and very clean. The house even has family board games. It has plenty of seating and sleep space for 6 guests. The showers and sinks have excellent hot water and water pressure. The outdoor lights are so fun and also make it easy to find when coming after dark. The owner is very helpful and quick to respond to questions. We also appreciated the ability to book a house for less than a week. Great place!

Overall great stay

We enjoyed our stay and the property was wonderful. The neighborhood got a little rowdy Friday night with fireworks and golf cart races but overall was very nice. The property manager was very responsive and helpful. The place was nice and there were games and coloring books and crayons for kids.

My Happy Place

Really nice, really cozy. Views of the beach is over exaggerated. But the beach is either a 1 minute drive or a five minute walk. Quiet area. Great host communication and easy check in. Probably will be my new go to stay for when visiting Galveston area.

A wonderfully appointed, cozy getaway with great client service!

The owner has taken great care to make sure everything is in perfect condition and that every possible amenity is provided. The decor was beautiful, fun and restful. All appliances and furnishings were top quality. I had excellent and prompt communication with the owner whenever needed. A truly delightful stay at a home away from home. One of the BEST VRBO rentals I have ever experienced! Highly recommended !

Great Beach House

This house was the perfect size and the perfect little get-a-way for our little family of 5. It is really close to the beach and has a staight shot to the beach access street making for easy and quick access. We loved staying here!

The house was nice, clean and we had absolutely no issues. The property manager was very sweet, communicated everything with us even a bath tub problem that occurred before our stay. It was nice that she updated us so we could be aware of that situation. Recommend this house! We had a blast and it is walking distance to the beach

Perfect beach get away

The house was perfect and was stocked with everything we could need. Just a short ways off the beach. Our family loved playing the board games in the evenings. The host was wonderful and always had quick communication with any questions. We will definitely be back!!

Great area to celebrate an anniversary.

Nice quiet neighborhood. Minutes to the beach. Very clean and homey. No need to bring towels, coffee maker, sheets, pillows, or dishes. The West End Marina was nice to eat and drink. Seven Seas has a very good meat market. The Shrimp & Stuff mobile truck was a good surprise, didn't have to drive into the city to eat at on of our favorites. Nates had tasty Philly cheese and Ruben sandwiches.

Very pleased with this rental

There are very few properties where I have felt comfortable enough to want to sit in the tub! This unit was one of the cleanest I’ve had the pleasure of staying in. Perfect water temp and pressure. Plus all the kitchen tools and goodies we needed!! The owner responded to our email inquiries very promptly and we had no issues whatsoever. I’d definitely recommend this unit and would stay again. Be sure to take your own beach chairs. We rented some for our stay.

adorable family beach bungalow

This cute little bungalow was perfect for our family of 6. It's just a short walk to the beach or the marina/pier on the opposite side of island. The outside shower and washer/dryer was extremely useful and helped us not to track sand inside. Cute little covered patio with chairs and table. The property manager was very helpful and available when we needed. Highly recommend!

Lovely place to stay

The location is nice. We rented a golf cart and the kids loved it. Low traffic. You can fish on the pier on one side, or beach it up on the other. The house is nice and clean. Toni was responsive. We had noise neighbor issues one night. I let Toni know and it was resolved following night. Beds are quite soft; a little tough on my back. The fitted sheets could be deeper; they kept popping off. Otherwise, it is well appointed and the description is accurate.
