I would say the cleanliness was a small issue! In the main bedroom eyelashes from a previous stay were near a jewelry box. We might not have been able to work the lock, but that was a minimal issue that the owner fixed. I didn’t think it was awful just a little more dated than expected especially for the cost the owner was amazing, but the house keeper we were told to reach out to was in helpful and to be honest it’s a beautiful place inside, outside not so much and depending on your price when renting it may or not be worth it. The king size bed was not super comfortable and I was asked to wash linen but no laundry soap so that raised major flags. I wouldn’t say it was horrible, but I personally would not rent out again for the price I paid.

This condo has a fantastic shower head with a warm, enveloping spray, plenty of shampoo, conditioner, soap, and trash bags, and a pleasant view from the patio and bedroom window. However, the place is a filthy, dilapidated mess. The floors are so grimy they’ll turn your socks or feet brown, and a used nipple pastie found stuck to the shower wall suggests it hasn’t been properly cleaned in ages. Moldy ceilings, peeling door frames, rotten wood, and rusty nails protruding from warped baseboards and patio surfaces create a hazardous environment. The listing photos, clearly outdated, misrepresent the condo’s dire condition. A particularly aggressive pigeon and its babies have claimed the patio, covering it in droppings and making it unusable…think Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds. The “second bedroom” is a loft accessible only by a rickety spiral staircase, offering no privacy or safety, rendering the seven-person capacity claim absurd. Warped floorboards and exposed nails pose constant tripping risks, making it unsuitable for children or elderly guests. While the complex offers nice pools and a convenient location near the seawall, Walmart, Kroger, and restaurants, the pervasive filth, aggressive bird, and overall disrepair make this overpriced condo a massive letdown. Save your money and stay elsewhere.

We loved the pillows and bed in the master. House was plenty furnished. Great view of the street and beach. Away from the fuss of Galveston so it was quiet. Excellent communication with the owner. Would stay here again.

Good stay. Convenient location.

Overall good. Some cleanliness issues - good not great. AC worked great. Third floor requires climbing two sets of stairs. Not bad if only coming/going once or twice a day. More than that makes them a bear. Only 1 of 2 pools has a working hot tub and unable to use that one as others let their young kids take it over.

Very Comfortable

The condo itself was great. The bed in the main bedroom was really comfortable. The host let us know when it was ready for checkin since we were getting to town early. Everything in the condo seemed fresh and modern. The listing does mention a 40 parking fee that I missed and got surprised by, but that was on me for not reading everything. The pool closest to the condo has a heated hot tub, the pools were chilly (in March, so to be expected from non-heated pools). View from the condo was straight out to the ocean so you can watch the waves.

Pool not heated, dirty and tired unit

First of all the pool is not heated I guess there’s maintenance going on but we were looking forward to swimming and that is why we picked this place. Second it’s tired ….. pictures don’t reflect an accurate description. The kitchen was dirty trash still in the garage, mold under the sink. The dish washers top rack had fallen off and the soap was still in the door but there was no dishes so I’m guessing the dishes in the cupboards hadn’t been washed properly. The balcony is old requires new paint. It’s not a place that you would like to sit, chairs were rusty and anything included to bring to the beach. Looks like it was ready to fall apart. We were unsatisfied with this location and communication with the property manager she said that she would give us a full refund, but we needed to vacate immediately.. which would’ve been fine, but we just sat down for supper ( at a restaurant) after a very long flight and drive. I explained to this to her and she was quite rude telling me I was taking advantage of her. My family and I quickly finish supper picked up our suitcases and left the property. She did give me a full refund, but I do not recommend this unit. It was a hassle. We ended up staying at Moody Gardens, which was absolutely phenomenal with a clean room and great pool, friendly staff.
