The house was perfect for our family. It was just what we need for our family Thanksgiving. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom had plenty of towels, the kitchen was stocked with more than just the basics. The Beachfront Bliss felt like home. I few negative but would NOT stop me from staying again. When we first arrived, the house has been closed for a while, therefore it has a musty smell (common for Galveston). Thank goodness the mosquitos were not out, we were able to open the beautiful doors to allow the ocean breeze to air out the house. The house was CLEAN! Although we found that the dishes/cookware were dishwasher clean not clean, clean. We rewash most dishes by hand before using them (no biggie). The location is perfect to the beach. I LOVED the dune area in front of the ocean. Great home for your family!

Weekend get away with the family

We enjoyed our stay very much! The beach access was so great and easy with three small girls! Beach was not busy and everyone loves their time there. House was well equipped with essentials needed for cooking and it was nice to have a washer and dryer to use each day for our beach towels Would definitely stay at this location again and would recommend to friends and family.

Mini Family vacation

This Pink house was perfect for myself, my son, his family and my daughter and her family. We wanted a quick private trip to the beach for my son to get engaged and this was perfect. It was in walking distance to the beach and it was never crowded. The house was roomy enough and space for the kids to run. The only suggestion I would say would to be to add a door to the room that has the tub. It’s in just the right distance from the main strip, but you are able to go and see the sights and come back and enjoy the peace of the sound of the ocean on your balcony. We will definitely be coming back.

Best View EVER!!!

The beach was fantastic, the view was bar none. & the accommodations were spacious for six adults. It's not a brand new beach house but it is certainly very comfortable. There was a well stocked kitchen, & all was just simply superb! The lawn needed to be mowed to help with the horrible mosquito issue, but we felt all of this was due to recent Hurricane Beryl & the many rainy days that followed. You can't get to the beach any quicker than from Sand By Me. We enjoyed this beach stay above our many other yearly trips of 19 years of family vacations. If we could give you 10 stars we would! It was AWESOME!

Needed Vacay

The house was very nice, but needs a few things. Mattresses were horrible in down stairs queen and upstairs queen rooms. Drier sounds like it's about ready to fall apart. Had to contact property manager, the a/c went out on day 3. She did have the repairman come. He did get it fixed, thankfully. Need a few more big pots for cooking. None that are too good. Now that's out of the way, we enjoyed the week. It was much needed. Thanks a lot!

Perfect for large family

House and location were perfect, lots of amenities not found in other beach rentals. House looked well-cleaned and ready for us. However the ladies commented that floors were swept but need a thorough mopping. Kids feet were black from just being in the house. Also beach toys could use a going-through and clean and/or discard/replace some. Please do not take this as a negative review (you have my permission to omit the critical comments if you choose to publicize this review, floor mopping and beach toys condition comments are for Kathy’s eyes only), we loved the property, had a fantastic Memorial Day weekend, and hope to stay here again.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

Our family of 6 thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beach house! In fact, it's our 2nd time renting it. The views are amazing, all the beds are super comfortable, the kitchen is well appointed and equipped, and the living room furniture is quite comfortable (not always the case with some rentals). I'd highly recommend this house and owner for your next family Galveston getaway!

Beautiful views and beach access

We spent a long relaxing weekend here that we loved! Easy to book, very responsive owner. Views were amazing, location to walkway and beach awesome. Having a few beach toys was great! Loved being this far down in a section of beach where no cars are allowed on the beach. Note: there is no beach wagon or chairs, so bring your own. And upstairs Q bed/bathroom is lofted, so no door for that bedroom. Didn't bother us but may be an issue for others. We could prepare what we needed in the kitchen. AC worked well. Lots of fun memories!! Thank you for allowing us to stay!

Great house

We had a great stay at this house! It's a bit farther out than the main town but the house and set up is fantastic for a family get away. I feel the house is nicer than the pictures. The views and balconies are perfect. The host was also very responsive. We would book this again.

Best location and views!

We went for a weekend with our neighbors (and all our kids) to escape the Houston heat! Cooked all our meals in the kitchen without any difficulty. Property owner is extremely responsive. We absolutely loved it there. We always go to Pointe West and this is by far our favorite house!

Lovely Beachfront Home

It’s an absolutely beautiful location with lots of windows, decks, and beautiful views. The subdivision and exterior of the home are beautiful. The inside, however, seemed old and tired, especially the kitchen. While new flooring covers the dining, living room, and master suite, There is still nasty carpet on the stairs. The upholstered furniture has been around for awhile. The front door sticks. Despite these negatives, we still loved our week and would be willing to return. For 9 of us, three couples and 3 kids, it worked well and we loved having the walkover just to the left of our driveway. We had a great week with 3 generations!

This was a great place for our family. The manager was very helpful and we loved the location. The house is very nice and has great amenities, even has a great outdoor shower for when you come up from the beach. Awesome beach getaway
