Our family has been coming to Point West almost every summer for the last 10 years! We have rented both houses and condos; bay side and beach side, and we always have a great time! The property is well maintained and the property management people are so friendly! We love it!

The Pointe West Resort was a great place for my family and I to vacation! The property was well maintained and our condo was spacious and very attractive. The linens on the beds were clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed. Our hosts were always quick to reply when contacting them with questions. The only reason I gave the place 4 stars instead of 5 was that the icemaker in the refrigerator was not working so we had no ice during our stay. Otherwise we had a great experience.

We came down for Mother's Day and a little family vacation and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. The property was perfect for our family of 5. We went to the pools, the beach, and did a few museums in downtown Galveston. We would love to stay again!!!

Was not up front about amenities not being available but charged me 125 anyway and when I complained said there was a pool across the highway to use…checked it out next day and it’s a kiddy pool but was closed for maintenance. Everything else was closed for remodel and code for basketball court didn’t work!

Fun location with everything within the resort. Rent a golf cart, you won't regret it. The pool on the bayside is heated. Family had a blast and plan on coming back soon!

This place was great! It's proximity to the beach club couldn't be better. Views of the Gulf and Bay were amazing. Super comfortable beds and kitchen has everything you need. Would definitely stay here again

THE STAY WAS COMFORTABLE. UNFORTUNATELY I WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN BECAUSE I CAN'T WALK VERY FAR DUE TO COPD. THE WALK TO THE BEACH WAS VERY FAR FOR SOMEONE LIKE ME. THE TWO GRANDDAUGHTERS DIDN'T HAVE A PROBLEM. THEY LOVED THE BEACH! WE HAD TO LEAVE EARLY DUE TO HURRICANE BERYL.. THAT WAS DISAPPOINTING BUT WE CAN'T CONTROL THE WEATHER.

We had a wonderful trip and loved the condo. Best parts: Close to 2 different walk overs to the beach. Kitchen well stocked. Hospitality basket was super helpful with dishwasher and laundry pods, some paper plates, etc. close to the pool, great views. Patio had lots of shade in the afternoons and breeze.

We stayed in this condo for my Dad's 80th birthday and enjoyed the beautiful views, sitting on the beach, the Point West pool, golfing at Galveston CC and a fun celebration dinner at the West End Marina. The condo was clean and comfortable. Its a great location to the PW pool and close to the beach walkover. I would stay here again.

Loved that we were right next to the pool and restaurant. The restaurant food was delicious. The unit had plenty of room, lots of extra blankets, pillows, towels. Kitchen had lots of extras such as a air fryer, toaster oven and blender. They had a lot of games for kids and family which we enjoyed. Loved sitting on the patio with a good view of the beach. The property manager was wonderful and extremely helpful and friendly. Loved visiting her in the little gift shoppe downstairs. :). The beach was so quiet, hardly anyone there, very peaceful. Make sure you get all your groceries before you get to the unit. The closest grocery store was almost 30 mins away and the gas stations/convenient stores wanted $8 for a dozen eggs and $6 for a gallon of milk. So plan your grocery shopping accordingly when you are in town.

the condo was huge with plenty of room for me and my family, Each of my teenagers had their own bedroom and their own bathroom, which was great, The weather was so hot when we were there, we actually never did go to the beach, like intended. We took day trips into Houston and downtown historic Galveston. The only drawback to the property was the beach wasn't really convenient to access, we had to travel to different areas to access the boardwalk to get to the beach. Another drawback was the larger pool, one with the lazy river about a mile away, so we needed to drive to it. But that aside, the owner was so sweet and she let us check-in early and when we had a problem with the keylock she was on site to address our issues right away.

Our family was getting together for the first time in three years! I was excited as this was the first time we’d had a chance to all be together. The hosts were wonderful every step of the way. We be fan getting information about our stay well in advance of our arrival. They even notified us that we could check in early. The property was gorgeous with plenty of wide everyone. I’d recommend this property for anyone looking to stay in Galveston. Thank you!

Property was beautiful. I loved waking up and sitting on the patio early in the morning. They have the best rocking Adirondack chairs! I want some for my home! Before the fountain comes on in the pond the fish jump out of the water over and over and made me so happy. Beautiful view of the gulf as well. Our first visit to Galveston and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the sand and overall cleanliness of the beach. It was powdery and soft just like what I’m used to at the Florida gulf beaches. The condo was very well stocked with all the spices and condiments needed to cook as well as soaps, detergents, etc. My only disappointments were that the beach club restaurant/bar was no longer in operation and that wasn’t disclosed to us. Supposedly has a new owner and will be back up and running after renovations. Also, not that we knew that there would be corn hole boards on the patio but one had a broken leg…..my boys still enjoyed tossing the beanbags at the working board. I would absolutely recommend this property to friends and family. It was an easy, relaxing, beautiful stay.
