Great property close to Beach Club and boardwalk to beach. Clean and well maintained. Was a perfect stay! Only issue was getting into the unit (had the wrong code) but response time was super quick.

Perfect Getaway

Beautiful condo. Perfect for our family of 6 to get away for a long weekend. Location is perfect - a very short walk to the Beach Club and access to the beach. Balcony has a lovely view of the dunes/beach. Clean, comfortable, had everything we need! Will be back!

Shades of home

Second year staying at this property and we came back for a reason, the overall feel is very welcoming and is set away from the bustling crowds. It's a short drive from the city center but the peace is worth the trip. Highly recommend and will definitely return.

Beautiful and secluded

The stay was great but the kitchen felt like it could use a deeper clean. Also, the restaurant and bar were closed and there was nothing within 10 minutes of driving so that was frustrating, especially the first night.

70th birthday disappointment

We've been to Pointe West before and this condo was the nicest we've ever had. Unfortunately, it may have been a mistake coming to Pointe West so soon after a hurricane. The condo was very clean but smelled of mildew. The manager was responsive and a change of filters fixed that problem. But the elevator was broken, the game room was closed, and the mosquitoes were awful. Then the electricity to our building shorted out. Thankfully the manager was able to move us to a different condo.

Perfect Location!

We LOVED this condo. It was clean. The location to the Beach Club and deck to the ocean was perfect. The view was incredible. It was quiet and peaceful. Its also close to the fire pit and grill.

Little Piece of Heaven

After staying in Galveston for many years, this was our first stay at Pointe West. We enjoyed the quieter end of the island! Our teenagers loved the game room and pickleball court. All the little extra amenities in our condo created an extra relaxing getaway! We will return!

Great getaway

This property is great if you are looking for a secluded place that isn't too busy with people. The furniture on the balcony was perfect for spending time enjoying the view. It was a little colder than usual during our stay, but the condo had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves.

Great location!

The condo was very clean and the extras provided helped with the small the things we forgot! I asked for a late check-out and received a quick response from the owners. Parking was easy with an extra vehicle, and being on the first floor was a plus! You must visit the gift shop while there. We look forward to our next visit!

Awesome Condo on the Beach

This was our second time to stay at Pointe West and our first to stay in this condo. Pointe West is a nice community and the beach club was pretty nice. Didn't get to experience the pool bar and grill as it was undergoing renovation during our stay. The Lazy River was also awesome. It was a relatively short, easy walk to the beach from the condo as well, which was awesome. The condo was very well maintained. We cooked quite a few meals and the kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed and more. Watching the sunrise from the balcony was awesome, although it does get pretty bright and a little warm after the sun is up until about 10:00 am or so. Sitting on the balcony enjoying drinks in the evening was so peaceful - spent quite a few hours there just relaxing. The west end of Galveston Island is much less busy than the East end which made for an overall more relaxing Vacay. Did have to spend extra time in the car to go to some of the attractions and restraunts, but the trade off was so worth it. Would definitely look to stay here again.

Fun times

The home was clean and had all the basics. It was nice the kids could all stay in one room. We were there 4 days and just needed 1/2 extra roll of tp. Having 2 pool options was fun. Enjoyed being further out from main Galveston, but bummed the restaurant was closed. Several restaurants in close proximity but we didn’t venture out much. Overall, a good time with family.

The owners thought of every possible thing you could need. And they were so attentive quickly when we needed anything.. I can’t think of anything that would make the trip better. 😎

Great condo with wonderful views

My family and I decided to spend Easter weekend in Pointe West, where we have stayed many times before. We enjoyed the condo and it had all the amenities you could ask for. Only drawback was that they closed the restaurant in the beach club which put a damper on things. That is not the fault of the host at all, and they did let us know about that after we booked. Highly recommend!

Anniversary celebration.

Overall the place was good. Snacks were a bit stale and the place was a bit on the expensive side, but otherwise we had a great experience. View was really good. Balcony has uninterrupted view to the ocean. Property managers were responsive.

Great Location.

Family and I had a great time, great location close to the pool and easy beach access. Check in was smooth and easy, condo was extremely clean and well laid out . Great patio to see the sunrise and enjoy the outdoors

Great Place and Location

The condo was very cozy and comfortable with a great patio and view. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate and it was cold. They had everything we needed but make sure to bring beach towels! The property manager was extremely prompt in answering emails and very accommodating. We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay, great view!

We enjoyed our stay, this property was perfect for our family. The weather wasn’t great during our trip but it was nice to have a beautiful ocean view from the condo! The only issue we ran into was the TV apps being a little unreliable (one day Netflix worked in the living room but not live tv, the next day was the opposite). Overall this is a great property perfect for a family of four!

Nice condo

We had a wonderful stay. The condo was pretty well stocked with kitchen supplies. The bed were comfortable and we enjoyed the board games in the condo. Be aware there are not any extra blankets in the condo. We had one in our car I got for our daughter (she tends to stay on the cool side). Everything else was great!
