Awesome stay at Casa De Mira

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this house. We were able to fish, catch crabs, and get oysters all in one location. Very spacious and cozy. Definitely would book again in the future!

Great house for a group stay

The house completely matched the photos. There was plenty of space for our group and we loved the amount of outside space and seating to watch the sunsets and listen to the birds.

Great fishing

Overall great fishing spot but the beds were not comfortable at all. Mold in the washer and on the shower curtians and shower head. Once these things are attended to this house should get 5 stars every review. Communication was great as well.

Great for a large family

Wonderful stay for the whole family. The house itself was spacious and comfortable for everyone. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate the whole weekend with extreme wind and some rain. Would like to go back when the weather improves.

Great fishing

Location is amazing. House is cute. We will definitely come back. My husband and kids loved the fishing at night.

Relaxing stay

Home is confortable and has everything you need. Very clean and organized. Waking up each morning to the great view of the bay was great. The sunset is breathtaking. Will definitely stay here again. Our family had a great time!

Summer Bayhouse Getaway

This was our 5th summer staying on Sportsman Road but the first time in this house. Great views from every level of the home! Beautiful sunsets every night! Plenty of room for everyone to relax. Loved all the swings and picnic tables. My favorite spot was the deck that overlooks the water. The beds were a little uncomfortable for our liking. Fishing was great - our son caught a nice red from the saltgrass in front of the home. Nice sink area to clean fish too! We will definitely be staying here again..already looking forward to next year!

We absolutely enjoyed our extended Mother's Day weekend at this home. We enjoyed the pier, all of the swings, the covered boat area that allowed for fishing during rain and all of the amenities this property has.

Favorite things: pier, boat cover, plenty of fish to catch (son caught 13 non keepers and cousin caught 3 keepers, flounder, trout, drum), we were able to cast net across the street for bait but still purchased plenty of bait from local sources. Quiet, neighbor/maintenance person was super nice. Would love to rent again one day!

Great place for get together

This is the first time I made the reservation myself and invited my friends here. The whole process has been very easy, and with the timely communications, I love that!The place is quite, the house has all the kitchen tools, even the small picking and cracking tools for eating crab. The two decks facing the water are great for the morning. The sunset views are also great.Overall, my friends all liked this place and enjoyed the stay. We are talking about coming back for another get together next year.

Good price and location, needs some upgrades and updates

The price for the location is why we selected this home. The house overall is a good setup, but frankly this home could rent out for much more (and probably more consistently) and be more enjoyable with some minor updates and upgrades.The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and dishes. We however only cooked one meal inside, and the rest we cooked on our own flattop we brought because of how long it took the inside cooktop to heat up. I would recommend better labeling on switches or some sort of guest manual with pointers on where the dock light and under house light switches are located. That was all a bit tricky, but once we found it, it was decently lit for night fishing. The house is set up for sleeping as many people as it states, which was nice and overkill for our group size. Mattresses on bed could definitely stand some cheap toppers or something. They were all pretty rough. The pictures are as it shown online. With the setup, location, and price, I would consider this house again and just be mentally more be prepared for those minor concessions.

Family Reunion

This was our second visit to this property. The first was 6 years ago on our 50th wedding anniversary. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to do it again. Needless to say our family has grown in that 6 years. The house is well equipped and we were able to make meals instead of going out to eat all the time. The upstairs a/c went out due to someone setting the thermostat too low but owner had someone out to fix it right away. Very impressed! Can’t wait to do this again!!!

Great stay for extended family vacation

Place is as shown, some things are a little worn but overall it was in good condition. Beds were a little harder than I like but there were a lot to choose from and everyone couple got their own room with only my youngest niece having to sleep in the loft area. Kitchen is well stocked, lots of places to sit and a nice big table for family dinners. Our contact was awesome and very accommodating, even shipped me my jewelry that I accidentally left!! Check-in and check-out were very easy. It is quite a bit out of the way of all the attractions but very private and quiet if that's what you are after and only about 10-20 min drive to anything you could want. The dock and deck were awesome, my fiancé got to fish everyday it was nice enough. Not really any luck catching anything big enough to eat but that's probably more due to the time of year than the location I imagine. All in all a wonderful stay with family.

Clean, comfortable and lots of crabs!

We had 13-16 people stay at this wonderful house on the bay. By the grace of God, there was limited rain - just enough to clean up after us when we fished and caught crabs. There was plenty of space and everyone loved the fellowship. Every part of the process was easy and accommodating. The owner's grandson even gave us a wonderful tip about catching speckled trout, which we only got to use on the last night, but IT WORKED! It was nice to be able to cast net for fresh bait just behind the house. We caught a lot of crabs and feasted on them three of our four nights there. No problems. Lots of fun!
