The first thing I noticed when I walked in is how clean the house smelled. Other beach houses in the past just smelled musty. The house was very clean and well furnished and had everything we needed. We were just steps from the beach and only 10 minutes from the seaswall. From checkin to checkout, Jeanette was a wonderful host. She answered all of our questions promptly, via text, and offered plenty of assistance. We will definitely book with her again and will recommend her to anyone looking for a place on the beach.

We Travel to Galveston Annually & love to stay directly near Beach. We Rent different establishments each year to try new locations. Bonus to this Rental was the Big Bay Doors all the way across the Top Deck of the House Coastal Side. The Glass doors gave You the Beautiful Sunrises & Sunsets while getting to watch the Waves. House was plenty roomy and We loved the Neighborhood. Perfect for Our Dogs and Direct Access to the Beach. The Owner was Extremely Helpful!

We spent three wonderful nights here with our two teenagers and our small dog, and we couldn’t have loved it more! The location is perfect, just a short stroll to the beach and peaceful enough to feel like a true escape. But close enough to a couple of stores just in case we needed anything. Each morning and evening, we found ourselves on the beautiful covered deck, coffee or wine in hand, watching and listening to the waves. It was exactly the relaxing getaway we were hoping for, and we can’t wait to return!
This deck was our favorite spot! Where we spent time each morning and evening.
We walked on the beach in time for the sunset each night, too.

We had a great time with our family at this house. Super close to the beach, I think we sat outside on the deck for every meal watching the ocean. Dog friendly. The room with the bunk beads was perfect for our kids. Clean and comfortable. We would definitely go back again.

Clean with easy beach access

It was a great rental for our trip with a small family. I loved the covered deck, which allowed for sitting outside and enjoying the breeze without being baked by the sun. The kitchen was big and had some good appliances, cups, and silverware. The bathroom was clean and the hot water was hot. It was just what we needed.

Second Visit

We stayed in this charming beach house 4 years ago and loved it just as much this time. Fantastic location, steps from a beautiful, quiet beach. Clean home with a great kitchen. If traveling with teens like us (both 6’ plus), the bunk beds and living room furniture might be a little on the small side for an extended stay.

Quiet and Serene

Our stay was lovely! My daughter-in-law and I enjoyed a clean, nicely furnished cabin only steps away from the beach. The cabin was exactly as described, and communication with the host was friendly and responsive. What a great weekend!!!!!

Nice space

The house is nice. It was a little musty smelling but that's to be expected that close to the water. The cooking supplies need to be updated but what was there was sufficient. The owner was amazing and very easy to deal with. She allowed us to check in early since it was Lone Star Rally weekend and the island was very busy!

Superb!!

We LOVED our stay here. I highly recommend it. This was our third time to Galveston and it was the best place we've stayed at by far. I LOVED being able to hear the ocean waves, the floor to ceiling windows and doors so you could see and hear the waves. Such a short walk to the beach! No having to stay in a tiny condo and walk across the often busy Seawall Blvd. The home is very well stocked and so much streaming available on the TV. The host was very responsive. And, I truly appreciated the ice maker! Mine broke a while back so I'm very much over using trays and purchasing ice. I've stayed at VRBOs that didn't have an ice maker so this one meant everything to me. Very clean home, smelled amazing, has everything. Book it!!

Great staycation

We live on the island and we rented the property for a staycation for my daughter’s 10th Birthday. We had an amazing time. Communion with the owner was wonderful. Everything went smoothly, I have no complaints. The girls were able to walk on the beach and I could watch them from the deck. I would definitely recommend staying here. I have always loved the neighborhood., very relaxing and serene.

Would do it again!

The location of this house is absolutely wonderful. Jeannette was clear in her directions to the house and how to access it. The home was ready before the check in time, though we arrived later in the evening. It was clean and well-stocked with linens and kitchen supplies. We loved having an outdoor shower and downstairs bathroom and laundry. The beach was beautiful and clean and quiet. Only the local residents. Cars were not allowed directly on the beach, though there was a sandy alleyway for some residents to use. But we felt that we had the beach to ourselves, even on a holiday weekend. Plenty to do nearby and we weren’t far from things. We had an amazing weekend and would definitely rent this location again!

Wonderful location!

I love the location, just a quick walk to the beach. Deck was nice to hang out on. Kids loved going to the beach at night to hunt ghost crabs. Great little place for a quick getaway. Beds were comfortable. Four out of 5 stars because we were not informed the washer/ dryer was not working (we packed with the knowledge that we would be able to do laundry. And we had five boys under the age of 12… Laundry needed to be done)! Closest laundromat was about 20 minutes away, and it wasn’t the nicest spot in town 😬. I was told the washer/ dryer would be replaced the day we check out. 😕 Also, a grill was listed as an amenity to the house, but the grill that was there was in awful condition…. Rusty and literally falling apart. It was another thing we planned to use while we were there with a handful of kids. Other than that, I’m glad we stayed here. Oh! And mosquitoes were so bad, so pack your bug spray!!

Good place, needs some upgrades!!

This place was good, but definitely could use some upgrades/maintenance!! The house was fairly clean, but the master bedroom sheets had a stain on them, so we had to sleep on the top sheet. A few of the towels had stains on them also. The master bedroom stayed very warm at all times, even with the ac turned down!! The ceiling fan was loud in the master bedroom also. I don’t think it was installed properly!! There are hardly no accessible outlets in the bedrooms for charges etc. And only a couple of them worked properly. I tried a few of them and the cords just fell out. Those need to be redone and upgraded!! The outside chair cushions were covered pretty good with dog hair!! The couch inside had dog hair on it also. I know this place is listed as pet friendly, but I think it could have been cleaned a lot better!! The downstairs toilet/laundry area smells of mold and mildew very badly!! I couldn’t hardly go in for the smell!! The outside of the dryer is very rusty and I was afraid to wash/dry our clothes in them!! The neighborhood is quiet and nice for the most part. Several of the surrounding houses were being worked on and that was pretty distracting hearing the saws and hammering during the day. But we enjoyed the neighborhood in the evenings during walks at sunset. I probably wouldn’t stay here again for the price, but we did have a good, safe stay and enjoyed the short walk to the beach!!

Relaxing

The house was a good size for me my husband and 2 little dogs. The location was good on Burmuda Beach. I loved the view and just a few steps from the beach. If you stay take off the mosquitoes were bad downstairs. They didn't bug us on the balcony.

Awesome stay

We LOVED our week stay here! Love the location and the view any time you look out the windows or doors. We had friends staying at a RV park and they would come over and we all enjoyed meals on the deck. We used the BBQ a couple times. Kitchen had everything we needed. Galveston Bagels were delicious and Sunflower Cafe was amazing as well. Beds were great and the outdoor shower was perfect. Our kids, 8 & 11, loved the bunk beds and being so close to the beach. They enjoyed the boggie boards too. Joy (our puppy) loved the outdoor stick you can put in the ground and put the dog on. She loved all the grass and of course running on the beach. Definitely recommend this place. On the beach and not too far from Galveston.

Absolutely wonderful!

What a fabulous vacation property! (I loved it so much I kind of want to keep this one a secret!) The kitchen was well-equipped. The deck was wonderful - I spent hours relaxing on the lounge chair and enjoying the view. Very close to the beach and easy to get to the beach. I wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend.
