Girls trip

This was, by far, the cleanest home we have ever stayed in. It was just as beautiful as represented in the photos. The beds were super comfortable and the linens and towels were very nice. Now my husband wants to book a stay. You won’t be disappointed.

Absolutely Perfect

We really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful property. Check in was as easy as you can get. The property was very clean, and the layout is just perfect. The large family room is just what we needed for our family gathering. And the outside sitting areas are spacious and beautiful.The neighborhood has a great community feel, and everyone we met in Jamaica Beach was very nice and polite.We enjoyed fishing off the back dock, especially at night when the lights were on. Other good fishing spots are very close by.I was the hero of the trip for booking this property. We highly recommend it and I can’t wait to return.

Fantastic house...will be back

We spent our anniversary weekend here and could not have been happier. The house was spotless, well-stocked, and open. The beds were extremely comfortable too! The location is great and for the fisherman out there, there is plenty of opportunity for that. This was the first time we stayed here, but it won't be our last.

Highly recommend Kachina Kay

Clean and beautiful dog-friendly property located in quiet neighborhood on a canal. Friendly neighbors, plenty of amenities for a family to enjoy. Nice walks and bike rides for bird-watching. The four of us had a great stay and plan to come back with more family in the future as it would comfortably accommodate 10.

Everything was okay, master bathroom had a strong smell from the shower curtain, need some plastic bowls with lids, deck ladder cut up the girls while kayaking but they still enjoyed their selves. Oh and the fishing light is real dim so they didn’t really get to catch any big fish.

Perfect Getaway for Avid Fishermen & Beachcombers Alike!

This was our third time staying at Kachina Cay, and as always, the property was immaculately maintained and communication with Robin was easy with immediate responses. He is such a genuinely kind and positive person! My husband loved being able to hop in our boat and be fishing on the bay within minutes (had red fish for dinner nightly) and I loved the short ride to the beach for walks with our pup. The house sits on one of the loveliest streets and canals in Jamaica Beach, with a large deck for morning coffee and a downstairs hammock for afternoon naps. We easily achieved our goal of retuning home refreshed and revived.

Relax on the canal and enjoy the view!

We enjoyed ourselves in the slow pace of Galveston Island. The morning sunrises we fabulous. The breeze came across the deck keeping the air cool. The peace and serenity was just what we needed! The completely fenced area was perfect for Gus to run around safe from jumping in the water unexpectedly! It was a wonderful stay! And we would stay there again. ! truly appreciated the manager contact! He was helpful with any questions we had. Great place!

May vacation

We truly enjoyed our stay at Kachina Cay! The home was beautiful and well-maintained, and our family was able to enjoy a relaxing, much needed vacation. Although we did not use the bikes, we took the kayaks for a paddle around the canals. It was awesome to have this opportunity! Robin is a great host and promptly responded to our emails from the time of our booking until the day we left. This was a wonderful place to stay with lots of amenities, and we cannot recommend it highly enough!
