Perfect for our party of 10! The location is perfect, and the house was spotlessly clean and had every amenity we needed, exactly as advertised. The hosts were incredible and super responsive, even though they were out of town! We highly recommend this spot for your next vacation.

This was a great location for a summer trip. It was an easy walk to the beach. We had access to community pools. The host was quick to respond to questions we had about the house and the surrounding area. The place was clean and the pantry had all the basic essential items. There was a good amount of pots and pans for cooking.

Perfect weekend!

Our group of 3 couples LOVED this perfect beach house! Extremely clean, plenty of TP and paper towels, spices and kitchen utensils/cookware. Just a short little walk to the beach! Lots of balconies for viewing the bay and the gulf. We are already planning our next visit!

Best Beach Getaway

The Rosy Spoonbill house was just the perfect getaway for our family. We had plenty of room for everyone and so much is available to use at the house that it made our packing easier. Every balcony had a fantastic view and so relaxing. We used the provided gas grill also while visiting. We had every kitchen item we needed plus a ton more. It’s a very short drive to the Beach club, private beach or public beach access. Response was quick when I had a question. We would love to visit again !

Wonderful Experience

We enjoyed our time in this lovely home with our adult children and our first grandchild. The home had every amenity that we could have asked for. The location was perfect as well. There was plenty of outdoor seating as well as indoor hang out spaces. We look forward to staying again and would most definitely choose this location and home over any other.

Best stay ever! Highly recommend this home!

Our family enjoyed everything about this property! Courtney - our host, went above and beyond to make our stay special and so fun. The home was equipped with everything you could imagine. We cooked our meals in because of all the little ones and the the kitchen was well stocked with pans, utensils, dishes, cleaners, etc. We were very close to the uncrowded pedestrian beach and the beach closet was loaded with chairs, toys and beach fun for our use. Then if we got tired of the sand, we hopped on the golf cart or in the truck and were two minutes from the beautiful resort with pools and amenities. The beds were so comfy and everything was spotless. This was a perfect location for a family getaway in a beautiful, quiet, and super friendly neighborhood. We can't wait to go back! Thank you Courtney!

Fun family vacation

The house was clean and really well stocked! The kitchen was stocked with all sorts of spices, etc and just about any pan or utensil you could possibly want! They also have a stock of sunblock, etc. My only complaints are that the we had issues locking the front door and that our reservation with the beach club was messed up. Also, just FYI, all bedrooms except the bunk room are downstairs and the kitchen and living area are upstairs. This was a bit of a problem for a family member with some mobility issues but we made it work. The owners were very friendly, accommodating, and reasonably quick to respond to text messages. I recommend this place!

Amazing Family Friendly Vacation

The Rosy Spoonbill did not disappoint! We had some bad weather but the owners were extremely accommodating. They have every streaming service you could want for movies or games. The home was a great layout for our 3 families to comfortably stay and was not lacking in supplies. The golf cart rental was a huge plus and the amenities within the community were so fun. All in all a great stay that we would absolutely do again! Thank you Rosy Spoonbill for a fun summer getaway!

Best Galveston house we’ve been to!

The house was clean, as advertised, well stocked, and we loved having a bathroom with each bedroom. Courtney was a delight to communicate with and super helpful. I did a girls’ getaway for a few days that led into a multi-generational family trip and the house was perfect for both! We liked being able to go to the Pointe West pools, the game room, and play pickle ball and basketball. The house is an easy walk to the beach if your crew is able to walk any distance and/or carry all the things over the boardwalk bridge, which is just down the street. You cannot drive on to the Pointe West beach, but just a quick jaunt down the highway is a drive-on portion. You can drive to the pools via the highway, but in my opinion, a golf cart is easy and fun if you want to go back and forth since they’re on the opposite side of the resort (we rented a cart from Rick’s and had a wonderful experience). We will absolutely stay here again!

Best VRBO rental ever!!

Great home, fully stocked kitchen, and the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept on!! The hosts were amazing and so very helpful!! We loved the pedestrian only beach, the pools were beautiful and so clean!

Thanksgiving Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Rosy Spoonbill for the Thanksgiving holiday. The home was plenty big enough for 6 adults and 6 children, 8 and under. The home was clean, and the kitchen was stocked with just about everything we needed for meal prep and serving! In addition, they supplied travel cribs for the little ones and a baby gate for safety. It was a short walk to the beach and we enjoyed being able to get to Galveston easily while being 'outside' of all the tourist hustle and bustle. Courtney was an excellent host and responded to all our questions/concerns promptly. We would definitely recommend the home to others and will stay there again when in the Galveston area.

Great place for a family vacation

Our entire family had a great time at this house. The beach was enjoyable without the feeling of overcrowded. It was a little bit of a walk down but not too bad. The house was tremendously well-stocked. We have had homes where you have to bring your own cups and plates if you have more than 5 ppl, so this was just such a delight. Everything was taken care of and the hosts were fantastic. They communicated well and were prompt to respond. The porches were nice to sit on in the evening. We always drove to the clubhouse, but it wasn't very far. The hosts even had a packnplay for my 1.5yr old and a stair guard that we could put up for her safety. Overall - a wonderful stay was had by our entire party. And the hosts made is such an easy and fun trip - cheers to them. One small note - The upstairs room does get a little warm but they provided some additional fans.

Wonderful House for our Family

We all enjoyed the house very much! We cooked everyday vice going out. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We got the golf cart which was very helpful when going to the Beach Club. We had a short walk to the beach. The last day we rented a canopy which we asked to be placed behind the Beach Club. It was great!! I would highly recommend this beach house!

Perfect house!

This home was perfect for our family of 9!! The home was super clean and the best stocked kitchen I've stayed at! No need to bring a thing with you!! It's a great location to the bridge over to the beach and a quick drive to the Clubhouse pool and lazy river! Courtney was awesome to work with. We will definitely be back!!!

Amazing place

Beautiful home! Nicely decorated! EVERYTHING we could need was there! Even plenty of toilet paper & paper towels!! Mattresses comfy, even the twin bunk beds! I slept on bottom w my grandsons on top bunks! Balcony is amazing! Loved the area underneath house, cool breeze, lots of room for kids to run! We had all our evening meals there! Seriously one of the best places we’ve stayed over period of about 10 years of staying at various locations . Only downer is it’s a good ways to beach, hard for my 86 yo mom to get down to beach, but she did it!! Also, challenging to get all the “beach stuff” down & then take down & bring back in evening. (Beach rules, not owners fault) The club pool is nice! Just a few min by car or golf cart. The Lazy River/Sunset pool across main road is nice too! Again, car/golf cart takes about 5/10 min, respectively. Even w the beach being a little challenging to maneuver w all the “stuff” & for “older” folks, & having to ride to the pools, this is BY FAR one of the most fun , nicely decorated, comfortable, amazingly appropriated w all the kitchen utensils, dishes, spices, beach toys, beach wagon, chairs, floats, etc!!! BUT the most wonderful thing was the owner, COURTNEY!! She was terrific, EASY to communicate with, very informative, responded within seconds, and just a polite & enjoyable person to chat with! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Hope to get to go back soon!!! ❤️
